this ride is absolutely INSANE. i was thinking it was going to be more of a kiddie ride but boy was i wrong. rode it twice in one day, nightime is definitely better!!

FRR, i had to wait about 5 hours in line, i was the last person to ride it due to the park closing and goddam it was AMAZING. The fresh nighttime air was just-🤌🏼

I waited 2 hours for this ride. When I first got in line it was daytime, but the time the ride began it was dark outside. Was so surreal. Felt like a real adventure, just blasting off through the underground and the dark sky.

@@zgrif I agree that universal studios' screen tech is amazing, but they were relying on it way too much for a multi million dollar company. Screen tech is the easier and cheaper option to building rides when they dont put as much detail is other aspects. They were getting lazy and they knew that. And with technology getting more and more advanced everyday + Disney as their main competitor which are working on new ride techs and mixing up different times of media to produce the best rides, just relying on screens are gna do harm to their finance 💁🏻♀️
@@SpeedySecrets215 yeah, they did some pretty epic stuff like Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, and Spiderman, but we also recently got rubbish like Jimmy Fallon, Despicable Me, and worst of all Fast and Furious. It's better to have a wide variety of rides rather than a whole series of the same damn screen rides
I researched the engineering that went into this ride awhile ago and it is phenomenal. Some things were never really tried before and the timing of certain events are extremely crucial. If the timing is out on the ride anywhere then the whole ride shuts down automatically.
I love this ride because it’s intense, fast, and amazingly well themed, but it’s also still a borderline family coaster. my grandpa was even able to ride with us and he’s over 70!
Our grandma rode Rock N Roller Coaster and then the Hulk with us on our trip to Florida this week lol! Not all grandmas/grandpas are unable to go on roller coasters hahah

I was surprised at how FAST this ride is. The videos don’t do it justice lol I got lucky and I hopped on the line after it had been closed for a thunderstorm and walked right on to the single rider line. 10 minute wait if even! But if I had to wait , it would have definitely been worth it!
13 hourss waiting for me 8 hours working $$ 2 hour cooking and eating 2 hour relaxing waching Tv and enjoying family time 1 hour getting ready to rest. Total 13 hours in usefull time 😁
I am a theme park addict and there is no way in hell i would wait that long for a 3 min ride. Ill wait about a year or so when the hype dies down, then go. Lol

Mark Fairleigh i went on it opening day, waiting 9.5 hours. Let me tell you it’s smoother than butter. Those curves look soft but they are extreme and it’s amazing. I was in the motorbike and I pointed something out to my boyfriend in the sidecar and when we hit that curve my lower half was bent 90 degrees and my upper was still straight up. 😂 it was amazing. I can’t wait to go on ahain
I had the pleasure of riding this at night time and let me tell you that’s the best way to experience it! Really feels like you’re flying. Best ride at Uni. Hands down.

The unpredictable turns and the zooms... When you’re on the motorcycle at times it felt as if you’re gonna damn near slip off 😭 I was holding on to dear life on those handles

@Hawa Rashid I don't think it is, it's more fun than scary! I would say it's more geared toward families as opposed to hardcore thrill seekers. But it's definitely more intense than say Flight of the Hippogriff or Escape from Gringots.
This ride looked so much slower in the video, and when I was watching it happen to others in person. I was thinking, “oh the drops can’t even be that bad.” I hopped on that thing and upon speeding up I immediately realized how much I underestimated the ride. I went into the very front luckily, but up there when the ride begins to go backwards, it’s a lot worse than the video explains. And when your in the dark room, the video doesn’t show it but the track literally drops down a whole floor and onto another track. (Don’t get scared by this comment, I’m a pussy when it comes to rollercoasters and I had a great time on it and the worst part of the ride is the wait.)
Right, I went on it last month and it was dark so I couldn’t see anything. When I got off my whole body was shaking and I’m honestly surprised I didn’t breakdown as I have really bad anxiety and it really peaked while I was riding. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, because it’s a fun experience when it’s all said and done… but I’m not sure if I’ll go on it next time

Rode Slinky for the first time today, was ok for a family coaster but we had to wait 75 mins for it. Hagrids is fantastic! We waited less than 40 min which was a bonus

Omg this honestly made me cry. I’m from Ireland and I went to Florida about 4 months ago, and I’m obsessed with Harry Potter so I couldn’t wait for universal studios. Hagrids ride was honestly my favourite and it’s so good. It’s so much better at night time tho, everything is lit up and it’s so beautiful. I also cried coming off the ride, it was so amazing, I could spend hours on it and not get bored. I loved the whole Harry Potter world in America, it was the experience of a lifetime and I will never forget it ❤️
This might be the best roller coaster/theme park ride I’ve ever been on. The way it speeds up at some parts, The overall design and the theme itself just makes the ride so fun

A roller coaster with no freaking LOOPS, not for me, big loop fan here. Steep drops is a MUST as well, and never miss a good HELIXXXXXXX. I know it doesnt have any of these but it just looks too simple and only goes fast. Not my cup of tea.
I went to universal with a friend who can't go on 3d rides or rides with screens. He couldn't go on minions, transformers, f&f, the simpsons. Come to think of it he only went on Hulk and the rock and roll one.
That's why I'm glad Disney has lots of non-screen rides too. Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, Rock-n-Roller Coaster...all super fun and no CGI.
As somebody who rode it 3 times in on my first ever trip to universal I’m telling you this is a MUST DO!! 10 out of 10 and would definitely do again and would recommend to all
This coaster is truly magical! It feels like love for the franchise was poured into it. It’s fast, fun, and unique. Feels like your on a motorcycle. No cheesy screens or flashy lights. It’s animatronics and good storytelling. The backwards part and the little drop really surprised everyone. It has become my favorite coaster by far in any park and I’ve been going to the parks for years. Can’t wait to try it out at night! :D
I just got on this yesterday and it was the most amazing ride I've ever been on! I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan but I always liked the movies. But after I saw this I now want to read the books.
It’s so awesome that we finally have a new ride that isn’t just seats in front of a big screen. A ride that is all animatronics. I love it. And I would totally ride it if I wasn’t so scared of that drop. But I’ll try to get over it.
My sister and I recently went on the ride (front row) and it is a lot faster than it looks in the video. We also stopped right before we went up a hill for a drop and were sat there for a minute before it suddenly took off again. The ride does have a few bugs (we stopped about 3 times) but it is new so there’s bound to be bugs. I’d give the ride a 9/10 as I would have loved to see creatures as you were zooming past the forest.
The bugs are normally for safety to make sure tracks are in place and ready to move or because larger people that don’t fit try to cheat past the queue and get on the coaster and the restraints won’t lock. They have to stop the moving walkways and boarding/unloading the trains when that happens.
@@EstoyPensando There are very few drops. It is more of an acceleration ride. You really feel the bike push you back in your seat, but there aren't really any bad drops.
I’m super sensitive to drops as well and it was honestly not that bad we just went to the sides a lot!!! And it went super fast. It’s crazy good tho and so much fun!

I didn’t know about the drop the first time I rode it either. I was so calm and waiting to move again, I thought we would be going backwards, and when we dropped I screamed louder than I ever have in my entire life! It was the most unexpected thing lmao
We just rode it two days ago and it started pouring ride on our first launch it was awesome! And almost scarier cuz the cars were flying haha we loved it
Great job Universal, though the person screaming was distracting. I couldn't hear Hagrid, and I kind of wish I couldn't see the post holding up the first creature.
That post holding up the creature kind of ruined it for me, they have spent millions and that showed up like they ran out of money to fix it , poor presentation.
I went on it for the first time yesterday. It was still the Dueling Dragons when I went the last time. They were fun, but this ride is so much better. I agree with the comments that say it's much faster than it looks. It is intense but so much fun! I usually get anxious before getting on coasters, so if you feel the same way, I recommend that you just get on it because it's so worth it! ♡
Broke my phobia i hagrid's and the mummy yesterday, I cried a lot afterwards, I couldn't believe I broke a life long phobia and actually love it, they were both awesome, quite strange how fear can be pleasurable, never dealt pleasurable fear in my life before riding both

this is easily my FAVORITE roller coaster. i can’t count how many times i watched this video when hagrid’s ride came out not know how soon i’d be experiencing it for myself (in 2021). even with the many times i’ve watched this video hagrid’s ride was still a great surprise.
My boyfriend's brother isn't a fan of rollercoasters, neither am I. Got his brother on this and safe say, he enjoyed it. Even if we didn't tell him that it went backwards, or that it literally drops onto a different track.
Just rode this Friday night... it was the best roller coaster I have ever been on!! I am not a big coaster person AT ALL and this was so doable. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! The video doesn't even do it much justice! When you're on it you are going at an insane speed!

4 things amaze me - 1: That they had the land to build such an expansive track layout 2: That they managed to keep uninterrupted sightlines for pretty much the entire ride 3: That this not only has EXTREMELY impressive theming, but also a reverse track switch AND a drop feature?! 4: Rainbow-anus farting scorpion thing.
at first they didn’t have the land, they replace dragon challenge with this ride. don’t get me wrong this ride looks good, but they replaced an absolute amazing ride and that kinda sucks
1) This replaced Dragon Challenge, which was a pair of B&M inverts. They took up a huge amount of space. 2) They did a great job of hiding backlot areas, but seeing as most the ride is ground or near to ground level it wasn't too difficult. It's no less impressive though. 3) Track switching isn't impressive anymore. The speed at which the tracks switch is made is Very impressive though. If this is the track switch system that Intamin are now using, their coaster at Parc Asterix is France will be something special. 4) Rainbow farting is the best, no matter what animal it is.
@@leahcloudforest7259 I would disagree. Even with a low coaster count like mine (in or around 40) I still wouldn't say that it's top 5. It was solid, but Dragon Challenge, in my opinion, doesn't touch Hulk or Expedition Everest in the same city. I've yet to go to SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Tampa, but seeing as it's not even the best coaster in its park or for me top 3 in the complex I wouldn't say it "amazing", it was fun but nothing really stood out to me, and it felt like the only draw was the duelling aspect when that was running. In fact from all reports, they weren't even the best of their kind in Florida (I get to ride Montu at BGTampa next year so I will know for myself). With SWO and BGT vying for the best thrill coasters in Florida, I don't think Universal should try to compete with those parks and just offer a rock solid cross-section of rides and coasters for the whole family.
I just went on this ride 3 days ago at Universal, soooooo good and terrifying! The Harry Potter rides are so detailed, it's like being in the movies!!!!
Was lucky enough to ride in the front bike of Hagrids and I can honestly say this is the best ride experience I have ever had on any rollercoaster I have been on. And I've been on a LOT of coasters (theme parks and coasters are my passion). This ride was completely brilliant, the speed, the track, the motor bike "cars" and being in the very front with an unobstructed view....I can't wait to go on it again.
I got front row bike seat back in June, and I woke up at 5:15 to be first in line for Hagrid. Waking up that early was totally worth it. I loved leaning into each of the turns, and the launches were spectacular up front
I rode this today and CRIED afterwards because of how amazing it was and how much I loved it. And immediately called my sister because I wish she was with me!
This ride was amazing! I went it on it about 7 times in a row when I was at universal last year (before Covid) since it was at night and most people had already left the park. So much fun!
This is by far one of the best roller coaster I've been on, I've always been a fan of coasters that focuses on fast and straightforward, rather the ones with a lot of drops and 360s. I always love the idea of sitting up or riding on something rather than fully strapped into a seat, it makes it much more thrilling and immersive, especially on this one, where they 'launch' you every once in a while, as you feel the adrenline pump through you as you blast off. In addition, the backward part scared the shit out of me as it was so unexpected and the way you sit makes it so much worst, I gripped the handle as hard as I can when I get launched backwards. Also, the final unexpected one story drop onto another track is something I've never seen or experience before, as they proceeds to launch you again right after. In my opinion, one of the best rides out there
I think this gives everyone what they wanted in Escape from Gringotts as far as the roller coaster thrill part. Perfect finish to the Wizarding World area. Great job on the video!
Unfortunately after the heart complications I got from Gringotts I've been forbidden from riding anything more extreme than that, so I can't go on this one :(
@@tokutickler I don't know all of the details, but it seems to me that it wasn't Gringotts that did it, but that it helped to manifest something that was going on before you rode it. I am sorry about what happened. I hope you will be okay.

The main reason why this ride takes a long time to wait in line is the fact that it goes backwards for “awhile” on the track so the next riders have to give the cart in front of them so time so they don’t run into them
Actually, you're wrong. It only back tracks the same piece of track for around 200 feet. Pause at 1:35 and you can see the track directional change section. They came in from the turn on the left and going backwards on a completely different section that goes straight. The cart going backwards at that point is no different then forward. When the reach the end of the backward section, it switches again to another track to go forward again. So it's all separate track except that little piece of track from 1:28 to 1:35
Betty Johnson It’s also that there’s only a limited amount of seats and everyone is constantly riding. They need to wait for the next row of motorbikes to load the next group of people so that also takes time along with, like the previous comment, the preshow. Regardless, I waited an hour and a half for this ride and it was definitely worth it :)
It's a track switch. When you go backwards you are changed to a different ride track, but because you're going backwards you don't notice it. There is no chance of a first train and a second train meeting at that point.

@@zgrif I agree that universal studios' screen tech is amazing, but they were relying on it way too much for a multi million dollar company. Screen tech is the easier and cheaper option to building rides when they dont put as much detail is other aspects. They were getting lazy and they knew that. And with technology getting more and more advanced everyday + Disney as their main competitor which are working on new ride techs and mixing up different times of media to produce the best rides, just relying on screens are gna do harm to their finance 💁🏻♀️
@@SpeedySecrets215 yeah, they did some pretty epic stuff like Forbidden Journey, Gringotts, and Spiderman, but we also recently got rubbish like Jimmy Fallon, Despicable Me, and worst of all Fast and Furious. It's better to have a wide variety of rides rather than a whole series of the same damn screen rides
I researched the engineering that went into this ride awhile ago and it is phenomenal. Some things were never really tried before and the timing of certain events are extremely crucial. If the timing is out on the ride anywhere then the whole ride shuts down automatically.

I love this ride because it’s intense, fast, and amazingly well themed, but it’s also still a borderline family coaster. my grandpa was even able to ride with us and he’s over 70!

I was surprised at how FAST this ride is. The videos don’t do it justice lol I got lucky and I hopped on the line after it had been closed for a thunderstorm and walked right on to the single rider line. 10 minute wait if even! But if I had to wait , it would have definitely been worth it!

This looks absolutely amazing..I love the minimalism of it in terms of track layout..just straight speed and nice soft curves for the most part.
Mark Fairleigh i went on it opening day, waiting 9.5 hours. Let me tell you it’s smoother than butter. Those curves look soft but they are extreme and it’s amazing. I was in the motorbike and I pointed something out to my boyfriend in the sidecar and when we hit that curve my lower half was bent 90 degrees and my upper was still straight up. 😂 it was amazing. I can’t wait to go on ahain

NOOO velocicoaster is the besttt!! A few days ago i did it twice back-to-back bc everyone else was waiting at the hagrids ride and ITS SO GOOD! trust me y'all it's way scaryer when ur waiting in the boarding bit when ur ab to move but once ur on it it's just insane! watch out for the dinosaurs that are hidden around the set of the coaster!!
The unpredictable turns and the zooms... When you’re on the motorcycle at times it felt as if you’re gonna damn near slip off 😭 I was holding on to dear life on those handles

Rode this three times this week, it's a LOT more intense than any video makes it out to be. Those launch sections are super forceful!
@Hawa Rashid I don't think it is, it's more fun than scary! I would say it's more geared toward families as opposed to hardcore thrill seekers. But it's definitely more intense than say Flight of the Hippogriff or Escape from Gringots.
This looks way better than forbidden journey despite how impressive the technology is I felt like I was going to be sick riding on it.
This ride looked so much slower in the video, and when I was watching it happen to others in person. I was thinking, “oh the drops can’t even be that bad.” I hopped on that thing and upon speeding up I immediately realized how much I underestimated the ride. I went into the very front luckily, but up there when the ride begins to go backwards, it’s a lot worse than the video explains. And when your in the dark room, the video doesn’t show it but the track literally drops down a whole floor and onto another track. (Don’t get scared by this comment, I’m a pussy when it comes to rollercoasters and I had a great time on it and the worst part of the ride is the wait.)

Right, I went on it last month and it was dark so I couldn’t see anything. When I got off my whole body was shaking and I’m honestly surprised I didn’t breakdown as I have really bad anxiety and it really peaked while I was riding.
That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, because it’s a fun experience when it’s all said and done… but I’m not sure if I’ll go on it next time

Omg this honestly made me cry. I’m from Ireland and I went to Florida about 4 months ago, and I’m obsessed with Harry Potter so I couldn’t wait for universal studios. Hagrids ride was honestly my favourite and it’s so good. It’s so much better at night time tho, everything is lit up and it’s so beautiful. I also cried coming off the ride, it was so amazing, I could spend hours on it and not get bored. I loved the whole Harry Potter world in America, it was the experience of a lifetime and I will never forget it ❤️

A roller coaster with no freaking LOOPS, not for me, big loop fan here. Steep drops is a MUST as well, and never miss a good HELIXXXXXXX. I know it doesnt have any of these but it just looks too simple and only goes fast. Not my cup of tea.

I went to universal with a friend who can't go on 3d rides or rides with screens. He couldn't go on minions, transformers, f&f, the simpsons. Come to think of it he only went on Hulk and the rock and roll one.

That's why I'm glad Disney has lots of non-screen rides too. Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, Rock-n-Roller Coaster...all super fun and no CGI.

This coaster is truly magical! It feels like love for the franchise was poured into it. It’s fast, fun, and unique. Feels like your on a motorcycle. No cheesy screens or flashy lights. It’s animatronics and good storytelling. The backwards part and the little drop really surprised everyone. It has become my favorite coaster by far in any park and I’ve been going to the parks for years. Can’t wait to try it out at night! :D

My sister and I recently went on the ride (front row) and it is a lot faster than it looks in the video. We also stopped right before we went up a hill for a drop and were sat there for a minute before it suddenly took off again. The ride does have a few bugs (we stopped about 3 times) but it is new so there’s bound to be bugs. I’d give the ride a 9/10 as I would have loved to see creatures as you were zooming past the forest.
The bugs are normally for safety to make sure tracks are in place and ready to move or because larger people that don’t fit try to cheat past the queue and get on the coaster and the restraints won’t lock. They have to stop the moving walkways and boarding/unloading the trains when that happens.
How much do you feel in your stomach? Im not sure i want to go on because im very sensitive to drops
@@EstoyPensando There are very few drops. It is more of an acceleration ride. You really feel the bike push you back in your seat, but there aren't really any bad drops.

When me and my family went on it was raining heavy, and in all honesty it gave a better feeling towards the experience.

What an amazing looking ride. Love the wonderful theming. Plus, it's an actual ride and no screens.
I went on it for the first time yesterday. It was still the Dueling Dragons when I went the last time. They were fun, but this ride is so much better. I agree with the comments that say it's much faster than it looks. It is intense but so much fun! I usually get anxious before getting on coasters, so if you feel the same way, I recommend that you just get on it because it's so worth it! ♡
Broke my phobia i hagrid's and the mummy yesterday, I cried a lot afterwards, I couldn't believe I broke a life long phobia and actually love it, they were both awesome, quite strange how fear can be pleasurable, never dealt pleasurable fear in my life before riding both

this is easily my FAVORITE roller coaster. i can’t count how many times i watched this video when hagrid’s ride came out not know how soon i’d be experiencing it for myself (in 2021). even with the many times i’ve watched this video hagrid’s ride was still a great surprise.
I went on this yesterday. It was awesome! 5 out of 5. Don’t chicken out. The ride is amazing. Do it. It feels and is awesome
My boyfriend's brother isn't a fan of rollercoasters, neither am I. Got his brother on this and safe say, he enjoyed it. Even if we didn't tell him that it went backwards, or that it literally drops onto a different track.

Just rode this Friday night... it was the best roller coaster I have ever been on!! I am not a big coaster person AT ALL and this was so doable. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! The video doesn't even do it much justice! When you're on it you are going at an insane speed!
I saw the Blast-Ended Skrewt and almost cried, this ride looks so freaking awesome!!

I rode it for the first time this year and at night! It's way better at night, gives you the feel of being in the forbidden forest. This had to be my favorite ride!
4 things amaze me -
1: That they had the land to build such an expansive track layout
2: That they managed to keep uninterrupted sightlines for pretty much the entire ride
3: That this not only has EXTREMELY impressive theming, but also a reverse track switch AND a drop feature?!
4: Rainbow-anus farting scorpion thing.
at first they didn’t have the land, they replace dragon challenge with this ride. don’t get me wrong this ride looks good, but they replaced an absolute amazing ride and that kinda sucks
That would be a blast-ended skrewt. hahaha
1) This replaced Dragon Challenge, which was a pair of B&M inverts. They took up a huge amount of space.
2) They did a great job of hiding backlot areas, but seeing as most the ride is ground or near to ground level it wasn't too difficult. It's no less impressive though.
3) Track switching isn't impressive anymore. The speed at which the tracks switch is made is Very impressive though. If this is the track switch system that Intamin are now using, their coaster at Parc Asterix is France will be something special.
4) Rainbow farting is the best, no matter what animal it is.
@@leahcloudforest7259 I would disagree. Even with a low coaster count like mine (in or around 40) I still wouldn't say that it's top 5. It was solid, but Dragon Challenge, in my opinion, doesn't touch Hulk or Expedition Everest in the same city. I've yet to go to SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Tampa, but seeing as it's not even the best coaster in its park or for me top 3 in the complex I wouldn't say it "amazing", it was fun but nothing really stood out to me, and it felt like the only draw was the duelling aspect when that was running.
In fact from all reports, they weren't even the best of their kind in Florida (I get to ride Montu at BGTampa next year so I will know for myself). With SWO and BGT vying for the best thrill coasters in Florida, I don't think Universal should try to compete with those parks and just offer a rock solid cross-section of rides and coasters for the whole family.

This is cool and all but I'm still salty they got rid of the dueling B&M inverts.
I agree; looks cool, but nowhere near the epicness of the Dueling Dragons... that was a real ride.

I just went on this ride 3 days ago at Universal, soooooo good and terrifying! The Harry Potter rides are so detailed, it's like being in the movies!!!!
Was lucky enough to ride in the front bike of Hagrids and I can honestly say this is the best ride experience I have ever had on any rollercoaster I have been on. And I've been on a LOT of coasters (theme parks and coasters are my passion). This ride was completely brilliant, the speed, the track, the motor bike "cars" and being in the very front with an unobstructed view....I can't wait to go on it again.
I got front row bike seat back in June, and I woke up at 5:15 to be first in line for Hagrid. Waking up that early was totally worth it. I loved leaning into each of the turns, and the launches were spectacular up front

I rode this today and CRIED afterwards because of how amazing it was and how much I loved it. And immediately called my sister because I wish she was with me!
That is an amazing coaster! The theming is incredible, give it a few years and the tress will be bigger and it'll probably look even better!

This ride was amazing! I went it on it about 7 times in a row when I was at universal last year (before Covid) since it was at night and most people had already left the park. So much fun!

This is by far one of the best roller coaster I've been on, I've always been a fan of coasters that focuses on fast and straightforward, rather the ones with a lot of drops and 360s.
I always love the idea of sitting up or riding on something rather than fully strapped into a seat, it makes it much more thrilling and immersive, especially on this one, where they 'launch' you every once in a while, as you feel the adrenline pump through you as you blast off.
In addition, the backward part scared the shit out of me as it was so unexpected and the way you sit makes it so much worst, I gripped the handle as hard as I can when I get launched backwards. Also, the final unexpected one story drop onto another track is something I've never seen or experience before, as they proceeds to launch you again right after.
In my opinion, one of the best rides out there

I think this gives everyone what they wanted in Escape from Gringotts as far as the roller coaster thrill part. Perfect finish to the Wizarding World area. Great job on the video!
Unfortunately after the heart complications I got from Gringotts I've been forbidden from riding anything more extreme than that, so I can't go on this one :(
@@tokutickler I don't know all of the details, but it seems to me that it wasn't Gringotts that did it, but that it helped to manifest something that was going on before you rode it. I am sorry about what happened. I hope you will be okay.

@@KHCoasterKid personally i LOVE this one more than gringotts currently, more thrils and ive done gringotts a million times. Gringotts was my favorite until i rode this.
The main reason why this ride takes a long time to wait in line is the fact that it goes backwards for “awhile” on the track so the next riders have to give the cart in front of them so time so they don’t run into them

Actually, you're wrong. It only back tracks the same piece of track for around 200 feet. Pause at 1:35 and you can see the track directional change section. They came in from the turn on the left and going backwards on a completely different section that goes straight. The cart going backwards at that point is no different then forward. When the reach the end of the backward section, it switches again to another track to go forward again. So it's all separate track except that little piece of track from 1:28 to 1:35
Betty Johnson It’s also that there’s only a limited amount of seats and everyone is constantly riding. They need to wait for the next row of motorbikes to load the next group of people so that also takes time along with, like the previous comment, the preshow. Regardless, I waited an hour and a half for this ride and it was definitely worth it :)
It's a track switch. When you go backwards you are changed to a different ride track, but because you're going backwards you don't notice it. There is no chance of a first train and a second train meeting at that point.
Honestly this doesn’t even get a glimpse of how fast it is
