As a person who’s been on this ride, trust me when I say that it goes much, MUCH faster than it seems in the video. You really have to experience it personally to get the real experience
I rode the Velocicoaster and I like it. Its faster than the Hulk. I like the Hulk and Velocicoaster. I will ride the Velocicoaster again when I'm at Universals.

@@thevulture0617 I rode the velocicoaster and made it my first ride of the day because of the long line. Even though it was a long line, it went by so fast. I like the velocicoaster. I will ride it next time at night and see what you mean. I don't see why the velocicoaster would be different at night than during the day.
@@elizabethputrus2138 Hulk is sometimes good sometimes not, depends on the day, when Hulk has a bad rattle then it’s terrible, but then again when Rip Ride has the bad rattle it always does it’s awesome
@@thevulture0617 I rode Hulk twice and I felt fine getting off. It didn't make me sick at all. Its nice and smooth. I rode velocicoaster once and I like it. It rides smooth. I haven't rode rip ride rocket I can't say nothing about that roller coaster yet.

one of the craziest things about the ride is how safe it is, but the design is so genius that you still felt like you were falling. the speed on this ride is absolutely nuts it's unbelievable

I lost my magnetic sunglasses attachment to my eye glasses. Honestly threw me off because I’ve never “almost” lost anything on a coaster
People really don’t understand how good this coaster is compared to a classic coaster. There is no lift hill, no jagged brake run, no flip slow down, lap bars are insanely well done, it has sound and has theming and has amazing lighting at night, the line to go on is amazing, it gets through people fast, it has a barrel roll over a beautiful lake. Sure you may think Steel Vengeance is great, but this is a different breed.

I’m in this group called Orlando Informer, we’re going to Universal later this month after the parks close, we get to stay till 12:30 at night, it’s gonna be wild
A couple public middle schools in the area actually get to go, it's the 8th grade class trip, called Gradventure, basically we get to the park around 12pm, and don't leave til around 12am, it's supposed to be loads of fun but of course covid ruined it for me.
Cedar Point was opened 6 PM - 12 AM for Halloween, it was awesome, but when you get home its already 1 AM - 2 AM ish

Literally 0:54 was the best part of the entire ride. You can hear it from the screams in the video but It felt like a powerup as you proceed to accelerate even faster than the speed you were already going. Truly incredible, waited a little over 2 hours in line and it was for sure worth, I mean it.

if u guys ever want to i recomend going after spring break rush like early april then go the weather then is super nice and we went on wednesday the less busy days the wait was 35 it said but we only waited 20 mins u really should go!!!!!!

This is solely the main reason I keep rewatching this video. The screams mixed with the sound of the boost is the closest footage online that can even replicate the feeling on going through that part of the ride

Called airtime. You want a mix of + and - g’s airtime is the -‘s and the push in is the +’s. And that part were you hang is the 0 g stall. You just weightless.

high speed + things really close to the track is always a great combo. the best coaster at my home park hits 70 miles per hour as well, but it's backwards, and ever since they added lights to the launch tunnel the launch has felt way faster

This is easily my new favorite ride at Islands of Adventure. Fast, smooth, scary as hell, awesome themeing and not a single slow moment, but plenty of powerful airtime. The fact that you do the whole thing with only a lap restraint takes it to another level!

I’m almost 44 years old and I can say without a doubt hands-down this roller coaster is the best ride I have ever been on in my entire life, and a video will never do it justice, because the whole experience is awesome because of the flips and the quick turns, and the way that you’re seated in the train. It took me no time to name this, my very favorite and best roller coaster, actually best ride, I’ve ever been on in my entire life! You absolutely have to ride this in order to understand what I’m saying.
I'm dying to ride but my fear holds me back I'm 46 and dying to ride this!!! I always go hype myself up then back out like a chicken haha going again in Nov and idk that I'll be able to man I need something to get over that fear!!!
I’ve been on every coaster at Cedar Point, and Velocicoaster is my favorite. I’ve loved Millenium Force for the last 20 years and this tops it.
This ride is awesome but is my second favorite. You gotta try the Iron Gwazi tho. That one is nuts.

Just got back from the oi meetup. It definitely hits different at night!!! Lol. We went back to back like 4 times all in different seating and man that back row has some MAJOR AIR time!!!

No matter how many times I watch POVs of this ride I always get goosebumps at the speed up section in the middle. I hope I can ride this one day.

This is the best roller coaster I've ever been on. Super smooth, don't get jerked around at all which is crazy because it's really fast and does lot's of twisting. The Queue for the ride is pretty good too, the animatronic raptors in harnesses were a nice touch. Would love to see the dinos in the river portion of the JP River Adventure get updated to more realistic animatronics, still one of my favorite rides.
I went on this during the day after Christmas at night. What astonished me the most is when I went through the highest point in the loop I stared at the sky and saw fireworks, red, white, and yellow. It was majestic in a sense, time felt slowed. I loved the ride 😊
I remember going around that 2nd raptor thinking “Oh man it’s slowing down” and then being rocketed thru that 2nd tunnel like “nvm” lol
This is one of, if not the best coasters I have been on, both Universal and Intamin did a great job!

Ever since I was a teenager I have loved thrill rides. Believe me when I say this I was absolutely SHOOK by this by this coaster. I have never experienced anything like it in my life. My hands were shaking legit 5 minutes after I got off. It's incredible. Do yourself a favor and get your ass in the seat of this incredible experience.

Man, that’s so smooth. And that airtime stall on the last hill climb? That’s where the money is. It seems both of the Jurassic World rides were meant to be rode at night, they both look so spectacular after sundown.
Had the privilege of going on it three times last week Friday and I gotta say it is INCREDIBLE. It is one of the best rides I’ve ever been on-especially at nighttime.
I rode this at night and I can’t explain how good it is! Literally it’s so fast my hair was slicked back. It’s insane!

@@Abe_Plancher Hulk was my first coaster I’ve ever ridden that had an inversion (upside down) and honestly I was a bit nervous, but once you get launched into the layout it’s just so fun and it’s one of my favorite coasters. I’ve ridden it about 4-5 times

Hands down the best ride I've ridden ever. It is really intense at some points but it is SO worth it. Even my younger kids loved it as their first coaster. And yes it does go faster than it looks in the video for sure.
I've gone on this ride over 7 times now and I will say, it still gives me the chills even in a video.
Everyone should experience this ride at least once in a lifetime. Way to go, best experience in a theme park. Thanks Universal!

This has to be the best rollercoaster in the world, might not be the tallest, fastest etc. But it has the total package, the theming inside is excellent, the colour of the track is sublime and so is the music and a lapbar! Let this be a lesson for the competition out there. This is the new standard imo.
One of the best coasters I've ever ridden. Wish I was young enough to ride it over and over again like I did when I would go to the park in my teens and early 20s.
Only thing I feel missing was a final surprise jump scare; like an animatronic raptor coming out of the wall or ceiling at the end.
I rode this this past Wednesday!! It was amazing!!! My son and I bonded on this rollercoaster being that it was his first coaster with loops! He could not stop talking about it!😁 Awesome footage by the way!!👍🏽

Universal: one of my favorite theme parks
I've hit a lot coasters over the years and this coaster delivers. Its constant and euphoric. What a great design.
😃 This is spectacular! Universal Orlando is so fun to experience at night.
I LOVE this coaster. During our week down in Orlando back in June 2021, while the wife was still asleep during our stay at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, and our daughter spending 4 days with her best friend playing with Mickey Mouse, I drove to Universal early mornings during the official opening weekend of this coaster, and rode it 3 times each day, IN THE FRONT, and LOVED IT! I figured what the heck! We are Universal Preferred Member Passholders with free parking. So this was OBVIOUSLY a NO BRAINER for me!!!
And then, on our last 4 days of our vacation, we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, onsite at Universal which allowed my daughter, her best friend, and I, to ride the Velocicoaster at night multiple times.
Again.....WHAT A GREAT COASTER!!!

my biggest flex is that i got to ride this ride with my friends in the rain. one the most terrifying and amazing experience ever.
Front row, night time, hands up the whole time makes this the most exhilarating/terrifying experience I’ve ever had on a rollercoaster!
I just went on this today for the first time and I legit thought I was going to fly out of that thing! It is by far the scariest yet the BEST rollercoaster I’ve ever been on! Amazing!!!!!!

I went on this a couple weeks ago. I just recently started liking roller coasters, specifically ones that are inverted. I was so nervous and shaking the whole time while I was in the queue and my heart was pounding. Next thing you know, I came of the ride smiling so much and wanting to ride it again. It is not bad at all, it just may be so fast that you don't even remember riding it. By far my favorite ride ever and you guys have to try this ride.
This is the best rollercoaster I have ever experienced in my life. It’s pure euphoria. As cool as this video is, it’s a lot more intense when you’re actually on it

This ride has made me love rollercoasters again - sat in the front, back and rode at night in one day. It's fast and thrilling but so smooth.
This is by far the best ride at universal islands of adventure hands down.
This is such an intense coaster! It was a tremendous experience that I recommend everyone try at least once.
I got on it 17 times in 4 hours! I’ve had my share.
As someone who just rode this 2 days ago (dec. 16) I can personally say this ride flows way better than the video makes it. I used to think the layout was weird but when on it, it actually flows much better. 😊
I haven’t ridden this yet but I can clearly tell this is a good coaster. No frills, long, that boost in the middle is a nice touch. Also love the barrel roll at the end
Hopefully you get to ride it! The video doesn’t do it justice just as to how “3D” the ride is … the video - particularly in the first 45 seconds - makes it look flatter than it really is. On a number of occasions the negative G’s make you feel like you’re floating out of your seat, for elements that don’t look like much in the video. The barrel roll at the end - which feels like it’s at the fastest point in the ride - feels like you are being held upside down by your head and then are being thrust straight into the water. This is probably the best coaster in the world if you think of it from a technical standpoint. You can't name a single flaw of this coaster. Airtime, forces, inversions, whip, ultra smooth, launches, speed, amazing restraints, and out of the world restraints.
Wow. Just did a night ride on this absolute beauty and it was incredible. The second launch is breathtaking 😍. Honestly just get in the queue for this ride no matter the wait time, it is usually shorter than what it says

Hadn’t gone on a coaster more intense than Hagrid’s before this one. And I experienced it just like this, at night in the front row. 10/10 experience. I’m absolutely going to be a coaster enthusiast now
Me and my cousin were there back in October for my graduation from college. This ride was shockingly and incredibly fast! At one point, I almost couldn't tell where we were because it was going so fast, but it was definitely fun. It was so intense that I had to laugh in amazement once we got to the end!!

I LOVED this ride. It’s now one of my favorites. The theme alone makes it better than most. The only complaint that I had was that I watched the daytime version of this video prior to riding the ride and thought that this epic song would actually playing on the ride. I was a bit disappointed to find out that it wasn’t.

Been to Orlando a few times now for a holiday, when I was 10 my mum took me on the hulk and that was amazing, at 16 I went on Manta, at 21 I went on what I thought was the best coaster ever in Mako, but going on the Velocicoaster this year, nothing has ever come close to this. That second launch that draws the tears from your eyes, the feeling of coming out of your seat at the top of that top hat, kissing the water on that twist and your heart beating out of your chest before that first launch. Nothing I don't think will ever come close to this, best coaster in the world.

This is my absolute favorite ride at Universal! Stood in line for maybe 45 minutes and the line detail was amazing that time flew by! The ride was absolutely insane. Can’t wait to go back and ride again!

Oh man I'm worried about a heavy person or small child falling out of it. I hope it's impossible but the restraints should be over shoulder as well incase it is possible.
@@DabManTrips one of the reasons it’s amazing is because of the lack of shoulder restraints. This is as modern and hi tech as it gets and you know it’s the safest it can be. They know what they’re doing.

Best coaster I’ve been on, and I rode at night as well. Hulk is still awesome, but this thing is on a different level.
I agree with others, this doesn’t do the speed you’re going any justice at all it’s much faster than this makes it look. You’re physically out of the seat for half of this ride, and the way it twists is so super smooth yet keeps you guessing what direction you’re actually going to go continually which just adds to the thrill.
Anyone complains and gets this ride neutered I’m personally going to be in the front office complaining about the complaint.
I waited for 90 minutes. Maybe even longer. It was absolutely worth it. Way more intense than Hulk and I love Hulk roller coaster. Oh and I also got on it at night.
