I was thinking the same thing! Not like everywhere else where the head moves side to side with jerky movements! It was flawless! It's all the details with the Disney lands! Even while queueing!
@@rabbittko1421 Graydon Terry is right - at least as far as it being filmed sometime in the afternoon. I don't know how they know but I went back and looked and you can tell by the direction and angle of the sunlight as they move through the ride.
I went to Universal a month ago. Still can't get over how INCREDIBLE this ride was. My mom went on the original about six years ago and she loved. By the time we got to the park, it was like 9 in the morning with almost nobody there. She straight up RAN to this ride immediately. Me and her bf were like "Are you sure you wanna get soaked this early" and she just pulled us into the ride. This was my very first time on this ride btw. The animatronic that walks at the end really blew my mind. And the drop was a lot steeper than I thought. It was so crazy. We ended up going on it four times. Two in the day and two at night. IF YOU'RE GOING TO UNIVERSAL IN THE FUTURE, PLEASE DO THIS RIDE AT NIGHT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Definitely one of my favorite rides.
This is ten times better than that projector nonsense Disney is doing to all their newest rides now... The creators did an excellent job on this ride!!
Totally agree with you, I have never been to something like this but from the beginning I was in awe over the special effects. Looks so real in the tanks with them swimming around. Hope I can take my kids to something like this one day! Great work indeed!
I was at Universal when the revamped the backlot when they opened the new Fast & Furious ride portion. It's all projector, as is the Transformers ride. Shrek and Minions are also projection based to a degree.
I love the detail on this ride. It’s like the movie got brought to life. Those dinosaurs look very convincing, and the way they pop up out of the dark like that is really cool and intense. Looks like a lot of fun.
Yeah, and this ride is like a combination of the Dinosaur ride from Disney's Animal Kingdom and Splash Mountain, too. And yet, you get to see animatronic dinosaurs and go down the toilet near the end of the ride at the same time, too!😄
I was really scared of roller coasters as a kid and my parents told me that this one a calm ride. When the drop came, I remember I was so mad at my parents lol
That last section looks fantastic! I’m just a little sad that they removed the voiceover right before the drop that goes “get out of there! It’s in the building, IT’S IN THE BUILDING!” To me that detail really made the tension that built up right before the drop
@@discoshark7767 um people because do things they shouldn't do, all the time. Like smoke and drink. If someone is prone to have panic attacks, its best not to go on these types of rides. I rode it once when i was like 6 or 7. That drop scared the crap outta me and i only rode it that one time😂 that being over 10 years ago I remember a bigger drop💀
The Indominus animatronic is next level, especially seeing it next to all the others. Not a single one moves as fluidly as it does. I'm glad they put the most effort into the biggest dinosaur you get to see. My sister freaking cried
Did she cry because it was super cool and she was happy, or did she cry because she was terrified? I'm assuming the latter but idk how old of a sister we're talking about here
Whoever made this ride is a genius, I love how they used the actual actors to be the ones warning people and asking them to calm down, one day I'll go there 🤩😁
I remember the first time on that ride a almost 5 years ago. Wasn’t expecting that drop at the end. It literally sucked the air out of my lungs. So scary and so much fun when you’re not expecting it.
I have a story like that lol, I was at California adventure with me, my mom, and my little brother. We decided it would be fun to go on The guardians of the galaxy ride. Here’s the catch, we thought it was a small and fun VR ride. My brother is super scared of bud roller coasters so we thought it we be a good experience. So we get on, and there are seatbelts. I brush it off a decorative, and we get started. Everything was fine, for the first few seconds. And those who know the ride knows what happens next, but if you don’t we shot up SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET IN THE AIR, AND FULL FORCE DROPPED BACK DOWN. This happened several times. I was holding my breath for dear life, my mom was petrified, and my brother was balling his eyes out. After, my brother gained minor trust issues to what rides really were. We still had a lot of fun in the park though
Oh, not for me. My sister was in charge of the park map and I think thought this ride was basically just like the first part of it - just a pleasant little boat ride with dinosaurs. So none of us knew there was a drop at the end. I was lifted out of my seat on the drop - thank goodness for safety bars - and was basically traumatized for the entire rest of the day and I'm even still scared of Splash Mountain despite the drop being less dramatic.
I’m actually a scaredy-cat, something that looks real no matter if I know it’s fake with these things I get scared, in my daily life I at least get startled 3 times a day minimum, I’m a grown adult but I get scared and being an empath and hsp isn’t necessarily helping me either to get less scared. However everyone is different.
@@kaleigh4065 I gotta research those phobias cause I'm 34 nd I'm pretty sure I have both of thos also. I would piss myself while on this ride. Massive open spaces nd structures scare the hell out of me lol.

I love when people do videos like this. And they actually film the entire ride which is really nice because usually people only will record 20 or 30 seconds and that's it. But with this one we got to see the whole thing!
The T-Rex kingdom is literally terrifying. The background music of John Williams gives real experience. Hats off to the makers of this amusement park. One day, I will visit this for sure.
Wow, as someone who was the child of a poor family, we never did things like this, so it was really nice to see a fun looking ride from a front row perspective! Edit: why does this have 1.1K likes
@@muffins3629 At least in 15 years you can post about how you couldn't do things like this because you were a poor 20-40 year old, then thank whomever makes that future video for giving you a front row perspective of the ride.
Imagine if there’s workers in animatronic suits and some workers disguised as people and the works in animatronic suits pretends to drag them away that would be awesome
Let’s not forget that universal studios is a theme park centered around showing behind the scenes how films are made. So the point is to show people how fake it all is, while also impressing them with how awesome it is at the same time
One of my small fears when I heard Jurassic Park was being retooled into Jurassic World was that they’d reskin/replace the iconic ending and turn the T-Rex into the Indominus Rex. I’m so delighted that they opted not to and I-Rex got its own animatronic. This looks amazing!
I’ve never been on the original ride, but I’ve seen recordings of it. So unfortunate I never got to go. But I gotta say, they’ve really improved their animatronic game for this ride! Especially for the carnivores. Their movements look so fluid and menacing. I’m glad it wasn’t all just 3D animation on an endless screen. Although the effects for the Mosasaur look damn good! Wish I could go soon, but the pandemic was a huge setback.
The first time I ever went on this ride I didn't know that it had a huge 80 foot drop into water at the end I thought the ride was just like a casual tour. That was a fun surprise.
It’s kinda nice to see that people have grown to like the ride’s Jurassic World makeover. I remember people hated the aquarium scene when this first dropped, even though it looks pretty good. Considering this it was all altered without changing the original ride path I think the aquarium is a good use of real estate. I’m still not convinced there isn’t hologram technology used for the finale, it all looks so crisp and fluid in motion!
Am I the only one who wants to jump off the boat and explore the place by swimming? 😆 Except the last part of the ride, I don't wanna swim the dark place 😂
Jokes aside, jumping off is very dangerous due to the mechanical moving parts underwater. There's at least one occurrence of a child dying after getting caught in some cog or smth
I went on the ride with my friends in the Florida one, the ride had to be stopped because one of my friends had their phone out. But the speaker for the lady wasn’t working so we were just experiencing the noises and splashes no intercom
Wow I didn’t realize they updated it again already. It looks much better. I like that the indomonus comes out now instead of just being behind trees. Also now he’s at the bottom of the life hill. Looks more realistic now.
@@englishatheart In the first movie, all dinosaurs started out as female, but there was a scene where they found eggs. That scene was to show that there were both now male and female, hence the "life finds a way" quote. Also, in the second movie, both T-Rex parents were present, and the T-Rex in the city was the father. That said, while the Indominus Rex was indeed female, the Indoraptor from the latest movie was male, and his codename was 'Ripper'. Now, if you mean that all dinosaurs in the Jurassic World park are female, this is probably correct as the Indoraptor is the only confirmed male in Jurassic World, but just like in the first movie, "life finds a way". So, I wouldn't surprised in the upcoming movie if males were present once more.
I wish they would one day fix the inaccuracies and add colorful feathers to the dinosaurs, and Raptors were realistically much smaller. It's time they debunk the misconceptions about dinosaurs the movies created themselves.
@@devilhunterred It's supposed to be taken as science fiction, even in the movies they talked about how they made the dinosaurs different than how they are anatomically and tbh it's just way too late in the franchise for them to double back and change the looks.
The biggest change to this ride was the amount of water that you get sprayed with while going through the ride 😂😂 I went this weekend and was absolutely drenched after the first spray lol
They should have had that field view from that original movie where they went to the island for the first time and they saw those long necked dinosaurs from a distance. It was one of the iconic scenes. It would have been amazing to relive that moment being in that scene.
Next time I go back to universal studios I will most definitely get on this ride. It looks amazing & thank goodness it's not a rollercoaster. I don't do rollercoasters lol. The entire family can enjoy this!
Are you a 100% sure is not a rollercoaster I don't do rollercoasters ether, I'm scared cause they lie to me when they open the mommy ride I trusted them when they say it wasn't a rollercoaster and to me it is regardless of what people say

The predator cove is so scary, I don't think my nephews could handle it for a couple years more, lol.
A lot of them are animatronic, others are too complex and have to have a screen for us to see

Especaillly with the Trex right at the end bonking it’s head out above you against a bunch of pipes!
Same here! I had no idea it was coming, or that it would be that long of a drop. Definitely one of the most memorable rides at the park.
