RX7 been taking all the limelight lately and stinking up the garage and then repays me day before racing by having starter motor melt itself after next to no use. That car goes to the naught corner until at least mid Jan now.

Hey Broomy! Do you have a video setting up a Davies Craig water pump without using the Davies Craig controller?
I have a FT550 and I am having the ECU control my WP150 and I have it working but I was wondering if you had any info on how to run it correctly
No video on that sorry. I also have a hardwire PDM which controls the water pump and fan as well, so the fueltech doesn’t actually control it, it sends CAN info to the pdm and it then is programmed to turn on/off at certain temps or via my keypad.

I really want to switch to a PDM but I think I will get a few years of seat time in my FC before I do that!

@Broomy's Garage what fuel pressure sensor are you using mate? I don't want to fork out $200 for a sensor on the reg that's in the fuel rail so wondering what you recommend?
I am running raceworks sensors on a raceworks remote sensor block. Vibration is the biggest killers of sensors, I’ve had the most expensive sensors fail when mounted on an engine, and I’ve yet to have any of the fueltech ones on the rx7 fail and they are all mounted on a raceworks remote sensor block.
@@BroomysGarage Yeh figured that might be the issue Broomy, cheers. I should have gone the usual FPR800 (remote mounted) instead of a drop in GFB reg as I knew this would happen fmd... I'll just make a short 1/8npt line and zip tie the sensor to the firewall brake lines lol.

I have the turbosmart version of the GFB reg, and I’ll just be running a short line to the sensor block. You could just run a short line and cable tie it to the fuel in/out rubber hoses.

Almost feels weird for you to be going Haltech - I was expecting a FuelTech FT600 in this car for sure.
I love the Fueltech in the RX7, unfortunately it can’t control the ZF and I want an all in one integrated aftermarket solution, so this was it.
Did Haltech come to the party??

@@BroomysGarage isn't it funny, and don't get me wrong ad I understand how it works, but.... the big company's such as haltech, golbeys and whoever else, support these big youtube channels by giving them products or at least supply them at a heavily discounted price with overnight parts etc, yet it's the average Joe that pays full price and gets wrong and or delayed orders that make these buisness what they are today, as I said I understand how it works but sometimes feels like your average bloke that should get the good deal or a free shirt or whatever as we are the foundation of these business.
Anyhow keep up the great work 👌
