I literally just finished kitbashing 5 Deathwing terminators from some Blood Angels bodies I found online, and some left over bits I had.

I think the bone thins are reliquaries, at least that's what I call them. Also I golf clapped when you pinned the sword. Makes me wanna try pinning now with how much I struggle with weapon swaps. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
It’s really not that hard to do, it just requires a bit of patience and a good drill bit and yes they are reliquaries!
I like know that even people as skilled as you can make mistakes as it makes me feel more at ease know that not every project goes perfectly
Literally that’s life - sometimes vision doesn’t translate well or we don’t always have the correct materials or skill to make it happen, I’ve always said I’m just a hobbyist before I’m anything else - it’s a bit of a weird veil things like UA-cam and Instagram as it doesn’t always show what goes on behind the scenes, and sometimes I wish it did more
Great job, my man 👍🏻 Cunning work with what you got, which is often the reality. Im also on the club that always say i will later and end up never using those individual pieces of iconography 🙄
I’m trying to purposely always use something - I recently found about 4 imperial fist sprues unused and I have no idea why, becoming a big advocate for use your upgrade sprues 😂

I do t mind the poses although I do feel the rocket launcher guy could of been refined a bit more, now there’s a DW knights kit in the horizon I’ll probably comeback to a few of these
That’s very interesting. I think I’ll focus the kitbashing efforts on that new terminator captain to make him a bit more unique, though honestly I’d probably wait for the updated deathwing terminator captain so he at least has the robes.

I kitbashed my captain for my deathwing - I do hope Dark Angels get some updated releases (a new deathwing knight/command kit would be amazing - and a new Belial I’m here for)

Nice more effort than I did, I've put the old knights robes to five of mine
I wasn’t sure how it would all scale - glad I waited as it’s just a matter of days now for new knights!

I think just having the bigger bodies paired with the arms will work fine - it’s probably what I will do when the multi part kit comes out
When you brought out the wing crests after cutting the range finder scope sensor thingy off the first terminator I was thinking you were going to trim them a bit more and have them framing the front of the back portion around the head slot. I know it would be more advanced which is obviously not the focus of this video, but how would you go about trying to make the little reliquaries look to be recessed into the power fists?
That would of been a good shout - didn’t think of that as I just went with where they were positioned on the old dark vengeance mini - in regards to the power fists, with out assembling the top plate of the power fists - get the part in position and mar round it, then carefully drill some holes at all of the corners, carefully score connecting lines until the shape is cut out, then carefully file away till you have a snug fit then either back filling any gaps with green stuff or hide any gaps with things like purity seals etc

Honestly it’s not as hard as it looks - I no where consider myself a pro at it - check out some of my other kitbashing videos (loads of tips) the old arms scale ok but I would recommend you change both arms to match as the new ones are a bit bigger/chunkier

Yeh they are plastic - I’m not sure tbh I bought these randomly off of eBay about 4 years ago - they might be deathwatch? I couldn’t tell you I’m afraid!

@@cat_or_rabbit Tartaros(light terminator armor, the only that can run) and Catapractii(the tankiest)
The Tamiya super thin glue is always too week when I use it.
What do you mean by weak? Like it doesn’t hold the join?
@@cat_or_rabbitI have the same issue, it requires too much time to dry, which isn’t terrible, but in some applications I miss other fast acting glues

the one that goes on the terminators back is from the death wing kit
