Take a real-world tank or plane or whatever from WT, find a real-world kit for it, and use it as the basis to create a unique vehicle for 40k! I did this for my "RED WAAAGH!" Blood-Axe Ork army back in the day - In my case, I used a Tiger Tank kit!

They'll need to refresh grey knights as primaris first. They've just released castellan Crowe as a firstborn, so it feels like it may be quite a while away.

Hey Pete, I’d like to see you revive Rylanor the Ancient of Rites as you did with Yarrick. I think you’d do a great job at doing so and I personally think he’d look great as a Redemptor Dreadnought (Autocorrect made “Rites” “Rights” lol)
The finish you get on cleaned areas with just your scalpel and without deforming the model at all is crazy and an underrated skill. Kitbashing really is your thing.
Yoooo!! As a grey knight player I’ve been theorizing tons of different ways to kitbash my own Kaldor. Including the Abaddon -> Draigo kitbash. Can’t wait to see this one and I hope to try it myself

I wonder if we are getting a massive range refresh for Grey Knights. We really should now that we have new terminators. Otherwise, this entire edition is going to be a paradise for kitbashers that play Grey Knights. Also Deathwing.
Considering that an Emperor's Children refresh in 10th is pretty much a given, I can see Grey Knights getting refreshed to face off with them like how Lion got brought in to match the World Eaters refresh in 9th.

This looks tremendous! The blue tint really goes a long way to bringing together the grey knight look. Fingers crossed for a Grey Knight refresh this edition, eh!
Fun fact it was the Brits that changed the word Aluminium to sound more classical. It originally was written by SIr Humprey Davis as "Alumium". It was later changed to be in like with British spelling for elements but it was infact changed.

The screamer killer, tyrant and neurotyrant could be fused to make a real unique Swarmlord. If I do end up getting 2 boxes to split with a friend I'll definitly see if I can do that with the spares
absolutely beautiful kitbash as allways... One thing i really didnt like was the meathook on the shield. I would absolutely have changed that to something Grayknighty on a chain.. Incense or cross or whatever.

Hey Pete, fun linguistic thing about aluminum/aluminium, its actually two divergent spellings which cause the different pronunciations. Merriam-webster blames this difference on the man who coined both words, by flip-flopping between them at various points in time. It just so happens that north America ended up using Aluminum, while elsewhere Aluminium was used.
Amazing result. Even though it’s a darker palette the colours are so rich and vibrant. It has a perfect balance when it comes to shading and highlighting and those metallics really pop. I always look forward to your videos, you’re always at the top of your game.
I like your work, but 7:10 A small purity seal was getting in the way though and was removed. 9:02 The book on the shield is a great place for purity seal, here it is definitely needed.😄
Amazing conversion and paint job, it represents in high detail the might and power of the Gray Knights. I will love to see the other Terminators that come in the Box converted as Blood Angels Assault Terminators. Again amazing conversion and awesome video.

Wonderful work on Kaldor! I will absolutely use your power weapon technique on painting my Kill Team conversions. As a long time Tyranid fan (my first army) I would love to see a conversion of the termagants in the box into the more melee focused hormagaunts! I want my new Tyranids to be almost all melee focused as I like the appearance of the claws and scythes more than the “bio guns”
I had a similar Idea when i saw the new Terminator models! Currently trying to replicate the inscriptions of my Grey Knights armor parts using the Oyumaru i just recently discovered. I hope i can somehow add them to the new Models, perhaps removing parts of the armor edges. Yours was a great conversion as always and now i'm even more exited to get the new minis!

If the rest of the Leviathan box contents will be used for conversions, a Lamenter or Dark Kraken Terminator with some tyrannid bits and bobs as field repairs to show off their veterancy? An Infernus Marine Salamander maybe? Or even more of that Auxiliary Alien species you made for the Tau before? Other than that quite excited to see what more you'd come up with next, Pete!
I love this! I have a commission for a Chrome (mirror chrome) grey knight army and this will help me on the basic details. Getting the highlights on the mirror chrome will be difficult but I think I can at least use the panel shading you did and maybe the lower panel blue tint

Looks great. For another Terminator based conversion I'd like to see either Lysander or Karlaen, mainly as I'm thinking of making a Karlaen from the captain in the Ultimate Starter set, when I get it. I have a NOS classic version of him, but would love to see him updated and upscaled.
I've been having some of my own idea for what I plan to do with the boxset. And also what I'm planning on doing with the revealed units like the Infernus squad. One idea is taking units like the Infernus and Hellplaster squads and turn them into firstborn units. I was thinking of using MK6 tacticals as a base with the special upgrades kit, an homage to the fact that Primaris units are based off of legion tactics. I'm justifying this because *technically* the Primaris keyword is gone, though its still painfully obvious what it primaris and what is not like with the Sternguard. The other idea, paralelling my converting primaris units into firstborn, is converting firsborn units, primarily tacticals and assault squads, into primaris. This would involve using around half the infernus kit in the boxset along with a box of assault intercessors and intercessors (and maybe a hellblaster box as well) to create two assault squads with two flamers in each squad, like what comes in the box of the current assault squad, and a tactical squad with a flamer. And with the hellblaster kit I could create a second tactical squad, while also taking that combi plasma from the new sternguard and putting it on the plasma tactical sergeant. The latter half is for my Dark Krakens chapter.
Request for reposing the screamer killer, please! I know it’s basic but they’re going to be widely available and running 2 would be fun. Making them pose differently would be awesome.
