@@WePaintMinis Telion is an odd one, do you use the current scout kit, add a cape and a scope to the bolter, or reimagine him in phobos, probably as a captain?
either way, the horus herasy mk3 or 6 kits have a bald bearded head thats almost perfect for representing his done. Just needs some bionics put over the eyepatch
@@AshleyBlackwater I personally would use the new scout kits, but Phobos could work for sure. The new scouts have a cloak too, so I reckon he would be pretty easy to do. I might throw one together as a short or something like that.

Ceramic burs used in Nail Art really make detail removal easy, they are far more controllable than metal ones and can almost polish the surface if using the fine one

Thank you for the suggestions, I have added them both to the list. Iron Hands are definitely on my radar as I am approaching the tail end of the maint chapters. As for Belial and Asmodai, I may do them as a stream to see if I can come up with something different than what GW have done. :)

I will also say I love your conversions and have been the driving factor to make my homebrew space marine chapter models, all of them are conversions in some way.
You should do a Huron Blackheart conversion or other less noteworthy characters

It does help. Just make sure to use a smallish amount rather than a big lump of it.

Thanks for the fist of dorn conversion. I’ve been working on my own version of Lysander since 10th ed dropped. Couldn’t work out the hammer. Have modified other parts as well now. Great video!

Absolutely great work mate, only thing I might recommend would be maybe using pining for the weapon and hand work just for added stability

You should do a Malum Caedo (WH40k Boltgun MC) conversion. I have a feeling it would not only look awesome but would also be pretty easy to do.

Another great kitbash, I always though Lysanders model was a bit bland but I think this one was pretty interesting.
I just got my hands on a copy of the 1st edition rulebook so in honor of rogue trader I'll suggest my favorite character from the book, Inquisitor Obiwan Sherlock Clousseau.

And when I say simplistic I don’t mean that the conversions are simple… far from it… but you have a very good eye for “simple” changes that really add so much more to the model than you would expect them to. Your work is awesome. Especially Vulkan He’Stan. That is definitely my favourite of your works so far.
@@jamesruskin992 That's very kind of you to say. I approach my conversions with the mantra 'there a bit for that'. I am confident that I can use existing bits to fulfill other roles, if I can't then I search elsewhere. A lot of folks generally have a lot of kits, so it's a little bit more accessible, not 100% of course, but close. I am glad you have been enjoying what I do, because I have too. He'Stan is my wives favourite too.

Im surprised you didn't use the original model for some bits. Like the head and thunderhammer bit
I am not a fan of the older kits, I personally think it would of looked out of place. I am quite happy with how the hammer turned out, but I do get that it is totally a way to do things if you are on a budget though. :)
So I have a weird conversion idea I'd like to see you tackle, a Nurgle-corrupted Drukhari Scourges.
I can imagine them looking like the Nurglite version of the BrundleFly, you might be able to use a combination of bits from the DE Scourges, AoS Gossamid, any insect themed bits, a few Nurgle trinkets/decorations, and bits from the Deadwalker Zombies might also help with that gaunt, corpse-like visage.
Just thought I'd put this out there since I've been kinda wanting to make a force of Nurgle-aligned Dark Eldar for awhile, as weird as the idea may be

I am most definitely contemplating it. At this moment in time though, I want to ensure that what I am doing currently is as good as it can be, then work on progressing it, if that makes sense?
My only critique is that the hammer begs to be pinned. Its just not enough surface area for glue alone
It's definitely something that would help it stability wise. It won't be used for gaming, so It should be ok.

Ooo, I am not one 100% sure to be honest. Often when approaching conversion I pull up images of previous models in the range and see what I can use and what parts I can change. I will have a think. Thank you for the kind words! :)

Might have to use the relic shield aswell. I just hope the hands fit properly

@@40king17hjf Oh I haven't done much for HH, however, the tactical marine kits are great for bits. Both Mark 3 and 6 kits as they have some great heads, back packs and shoulders. Some cool poses too. Thank you you. :)

If you want to go the blue stuff path to recast some elements like Chapter symbols, why not go the 3d printed bits path ?
There are a lot of suppliers for bits of all sorts for people that want to pimp their GW models
I am not adverse to the idea, however, something about 3D printing puts me off. I struggle to find super quality stuff, so any recommendations would be welcome.
Well I own a 3d printer so I print whole models but I know that Archie's Forge in the UK is one of the most known.
As for the quality, even my humble Elegoo Mars 2 Pro can make fine details but it's the post printing cleaning that is the most important part and sellers can try and cut corners that way...

Oh most definitely! I will be totally transparent, I am building up my audience with Space Marines, which will hopefully in turn, allow me to expand into others. I also stream now and again, so I will be doing stuff other than Space Marines on there too.

nice conversion! it's not really a "primaris terminator" though; the new terminators are just scaled to *fit* with the primaris range, as far as i know they're firstborn marines. primaris terminators don't currently exist but i'm sure they will at some point (unless they just make mark x gravis the primaris analogue of terminator armour, since it's roughly equivalent in size)
This is true, however and unfortunately, the UA-cam algorithm doesn't know that. It's a frustrating part of growth on UA-cam. I am trying different ways to approach the content though. Thank you for the kind words.

Current era terminators are a mix of both Primaris and Firstborn.

I just love that he was trapped in the warp for what 1500 years? But still dante just keeps getting younger these days. Mother fuckers over 3 thousand years old but hes somehow just over 1000 in the new lore. Their is a reason this dude wants to die. 1000 years is old but not compared to someone whos lived for thousands of years and knows he should be dead. Lore with this got retarded and kinda urks me when people are like hes so old at be around only 1500 years. God man i was their when rogue trader was written. The true age i guess got clouded by all these useless storys that just remain vague
