Thanks! Not so much with earlier models but later I found having a personal story attached to a mini helped the vision - it’s great seeing a them all on the shelf looking so unique

Making texture paint is something that’s been on my radar for a bit now and something I’ll 100% cover on this channel sooner rather than later, I’ve made washes before which is really easy to do, but I’d like to be able to make my own crackle texture eventually

@@cat_or_rabbit Yeah that would be SUPER interesting and convenient to make my own crackling pait. There's a lot of colours that aren't sold!

glad it helped! these were made with very much the kill team starter set in mind so it should work quite well for both!

It’s something that I continuously do now, you can get some great textures and effects with mixing these. Glad it helped!

Glad it helps! I like doing it this way as you can get a base under them (smaller ones anyway)

The green is actually how I did my death guard green armour a few years ago but I layered the colours on instead, glad it helped!

I'll Probably do mine raptors too, will just have to work around any bits as I believe they have the pre sculpted bases on the minis.

@cat_or_rabbit Seriously, those urban bases look like a really unique take and I'd love to see how you do them. Also, wondering what drybrushes you use? I can never seem to find ones I like and the smaller one you used looks perfect for what I need. Lastly, we can't get Colourforge here in the states so please feel sorry for us. What a great product you got really nice results out of.

@ bases are very easy to do and work well with the drab tones of the raptors. Dry brushes are from artify, army painter also do some very similar which are slightly better in my opinion (I actually need to do a video on them - so that will be coming soon!) And as for colour forge not being available in us they did recently make them easier to get in North America - although I’m not sure they sell direct and may need to find a stockist ( here’s the link to the NA website thecolourforge-na.com/? )
