This Diamond is forever ❣️ Holly Holy Cherry Cherry Solitary Man Sweet Caroline America Cracklin' Rosey Love On The Rocks The list goes on & on for this legendary singer/song writer! 🔥🔥🔥❣️❣️❣️
Everybody knows Neil Diamond or at least the songs he wrote: I'm a Believer, Red Red Wine, Sweet Caroline among others. He's definitely one of music's greatest singer-songwriters ever. He sold 130 million albums, sold out huge arenas and stadiums around the world and received numerous awards. He has a huge catalogue to choose from: try Holly Holy, Brooklyn Roads, Soolaimon, Solitary Man, Dry Your Eyes, Beautiful Noise, America, or even more recent songs like Delirious Love, Nothing But A Heartache, Hell Yeah...
I'm 60. One of my earliest memories is my dad listening to this song....I'm guessing it must have been around 1968, when it came out. I've loved Neal Diamond's voice my entire life.
One of my favorite singer songwriters spanning many decades. I had so many of his records. He had tons of hit songs. "I Am, I Said" is almost an autobiography of his life & fame. He wrote the song "I'm A Believer" which became a big hit for the Monkees in 1966. That song was later used in the movie Shrek & sung by Smash Mouth. I was privileged to see him in concert twice. He was a great showman & his live performances were memorable.
The songs that resonate the most are the one that are personal to the singer/songwriter and also manage to be relatable to anyone who listens to it. This is one of those songs. Because of that it is relatable to those born 50 years before Neil and it will be relatable to those born 50 years from now.
Check "I am I Said" LIVE Hot August Night 1972 Beacon Theater! Would Love to see your reaction to "Brother Loves Traveling Salvation Show" same Concert!! 😉🙏
I just wanted to suggest that you look at the "Neil Diamond Talks About" (various videos) Especially "Neil Diamond Talks About "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show" Then Plays It, Live 1971" the story behind 'the story' I believe you will be even more impressed. Good day to you and blessings "Holly Holy" Then Plays It (Live 1971), "Man of God" Then Plays It (Live 2008 UK), "Cracklin' Rosie" Then Plays It (Live 1971), His Classic First Hit "Solitary Man" Then Plays It
Congratulations to my baby for getting to 40,000..I know he won't celebrate it but I will...on your way to 50,000 in no time..my love..my inspiration..my hero...keep doing what u do..don't stop..
You're very expressive and it's nice to watch. I had some trouble hearing you speak, though, with my volumes at highest level (just FYI). From the way you react to the song I get the feeling your comments would be interesting to hear. Anyway, some more Neil Diamond: America (my personal fave), Sweet Caroline (most other peoples' fave), Love on the Rocks, Hello Again, Heartlight (haven't heard any reactor do this), You Don't Bring My Flowers (a duet with Barbra Streisand - - fun fact: they went to high school together and were both in the school chorus). Anyway, looking forward to seeing (and hearing ;)) more of your reactions.
You should check out "September Morn"...it's my favorite, guess because I was born that month, it has a very deep feeling to it. ☮ Sending you Love, Peace and Joy
