Always have been a fan of you since the Necronomnom book! I am so proud in how far you have come it is really inspiring, how you always upload as much you can with very quality work. Thank you so much since your videos were always there as a destresser in all of the things that stress me in this day of age. I hope your work continues and I will always watch your videos! Thank you so much once again for helping me and being an inspiration for me to push on in life and be the best I can be!
I have sadly never seen the movie. But these recipes look amazing! Especially the Patchwork cake, that straight up looks like it's sewn together. Love it!
You definitely need to watch the movie whenever you get a chance. It's honestly such a good movie! I watch it every Halloween and Christmas (I'm not sure why people can't agree on it being both a Halloween and Christmas movie)
I think you nailed that cake. It hit that patchwork look perfect. I want to try that shepherd's pie. I will put corn in it though. Love your content. You have some of the best reactions to food on UA-cam.
I absolutely had to pause at the Shepard's Pie and scan the comments for a certain correction about the vernacular. I'm really glad this community is bent outta shape about it XD. Great work as always. These kinds of cookbooks started really taking off while I was working at Barnes & Noble, and shortly after I found this channel. The books and you have been a huge inspiration to take on and get better at cooking. For those wondering what I'm talking about: I've met many English people that'll correct anyone that a *Shepard's* Pie is made of lamb, if it's beef: "It's not *Shepard's* Pie, it's *Cottage* Pie" *Edit: I posted this comment while continuing to listen after the cake was finished. *open mouth, insert foot* Thanks for inadvertently teaching me to finish the video before posting the comment, Miso XD
Oh no! He is becoming half decent at baking. Once he is able to bake things without messing them up, there will be no stopping him! Joking aside, great video.
A good tip for the Shepherd's Pie, add a couple egg yolks to the mashed potatoes. Not only will they bind with the milk and butter to create a creamier texture, they'll also help with browning the potatoes when you bake it!
Props to you being willing to do the baking recipes. I am always intimidated by the baking options in cook books cause I always screw them up. Giving me confidence tho!
I always saw Nightmare as a transitional holiday movie. Like the whole plot is that Halloween has just happened and Jack becomes wrapped up in the wonder of Christmas. So watch it the day after Halloween as a way to transition from the spooks of fall into the cheer of winter.
Such a great idea for the season! NBC is one of the only movies I've seen more than twice. I love it that much. I wish there were more chances to say "You must be DOUBLE-DEAD!" in my daily life.
Although I never got to throw one, I was obsessed with the idea of throwing a Halloween party as a kid. I was also a big fan of this movie, so this would’ve made me so happy back then! Proud of you for making a lovely cake btw.
Interesting addition of a party planning section in this one!🥳 You should try your hand at some of those crafts! These recipes looked great with fun takes on the theme.🎃🎄 Looks like you leveled up your baking skills cuz the cake turned out awesome! 🍰 Great job! 👍🏼
That’s true. I bought the same Recipe book, but with the apron along with it. Since most of the cookbooks that are the themed version recipes books, will be more in money, since of the apron itself. But yeah, sometimes with the shepherd pies, they sometimes say, if your adding the detail from those who cooked it before (not me, but those who did cook that version of the actual recipe from the book) will sometimes say throw the pea’s in when cooking the other ingredients. Then again, I got to try cooking it, since I got the book too. I
I never liked shepherd's pie, mostly because every time I tried it, it was always really bland tasting, but the recipe included in this book actually looks like something I'd eat.
@@alexramos7708 I've tried it at least a dozen times by different people and every time it was the same and none of them actually looked remotely like this one did, so my guess is that the older 'traditional' recipes were all on the blander side.
The mashed potatoes get gluey from how much starch is in them. If you rinse the chunks like you would rice, it'll wash away the excess starch and get you'll smoother potatoes.
By the way, a Sonic The Hedgehog cookbook was recently released. It was co-written by Ian Flynn, who was one of the writers for the Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog comics. All of the recipes are classic 50’s diner staples like chili dogs, strawberry milkshakes, and donuts.
Well...how appropriate for this time of year lol. Also there's at least two cookbooks I can say you need to check out, one is the official Sonic the Hedgehog cookbook that just came out this month...same day as Sonic Superstars. The other is the official FNAF cookbook....also rather on point for spooky season. I'm pretty sure you've already got The Witcher official cookbook in your sights...as long as they don't push it back again from next month to December or next year.
Heyo long time sub of yours. If you’re looking for a new cookbook to add to your collection/upload a video about. You should try Apex Legends official cook book From what I heard it goes hand and hand with the game/lore straight to the kitchen. If you do this you GOTTA make Fuses signature drink Koala Kola
This may be a strange way to look at it but I always saw the movie as a Thanksgiving movie since the lesson is to be thankful for what you have.
That makes a lot of sense! I like that perspective
I've thought the same since it's about both holidays and Thanksgiving is in the middle!
You've figured it out
You were dead on with how the shepherd's pie looked like the Majora's Mask moon once you added the carrots for eyes. I had a good laugh at that.
Lol the moon's face is unmistakable

There is a black cocoa powder, which is “ultra-Dutched” cocoa powder. I think this would work beautifully on that cake.
Oogie boogie is my childhood favourite villain
