I think one of the major issues with why the vanilla extract may not have worked for the drink is the fact that extract is made with alcohol and designed to be used in baked goods, not taken straight in something like a drink (this i have learned from experience). I am also curious if artificial or pure extract was used because many say the artificial stuff can leave a bitter aftertaste. Finally vanilla paste tends to be massively more intense flavor then extract i find. All in all i have to consider any fault with the drink to be user error in this case. Sadly not all substitutions are equal and any substitutions should be researched before being done.
@@MisoHungrie You could get vanilla syrup in a bottle, I have a bottle of Starbucks brand and works well with drinks, also vanilla extract can work on certain milk-based drinks like Horchata
@@splendidhorror1517 honestly, unless the drink was being boiled or simmered for a period the alcohol wouldn’t be able to be cooked out. I think it’s 172°F for alcohol to burn off.
I watched this just on the basis of sheer curiosity of HOW the hell is there a Jurassic World cookbook lol. Glad I did though, entertaining video for sure. I watched it with my gf who is big into cooking. She appreciates your approach to content creation. Just like me, she also hopes you get your deserved attention. You do clearly put effort into your videos. Also, the little dino toy footprint was hilarious.
Your excitement at trying the dishes at the end of the video is infectious. It's so great to see how happy you are to taste it. But like a professional, you still can be appropriately critical of both the recipe and your preparation, seeing what could be improved and where. Another great video!
Love the video Miso! Not really a massive fan of Jurassic Park as a whole myself, but you added a lot of good visuals with those Jurassic World game clips and your classic humour as well. In case you aren’t aware, thought I’d put it in your radar - CD Projekt Red are doing a Witcher cookbook for release later this year! Would definitely be worth doing a video about I reckon! Keep up the good work, I’m a huge fan (PS, love the new intro splash)!
Thanks a ton for your support and feedback! And I appreciate the heads up for the Witcher cookbook. I'm a big fan of the games so I'll definitely be doing a video on that when it comes out 😄
Okay, visually, I'm obligated to complement the guy (or girl (or anything between)) who came up with the drink. To incorporate the glass itself into the design of the drink and the gummy shark on a stick are ingenious and very cute, if a bit morbid.
You should make it a poll! XD I think if I did a medley chip mix like that, I'd separate the chips out according to vegetable type onto smaller tray, that way they can pulled out when properly done per vegetable.
What a nice way to round out my week! The vibes are always emaculate, and the food looked gorgeous as ever. Thanks for the consistently great content :)
How did you get so good at filming/editing? Have you had any studies? All of your dishes look so good and detailed, and even when you succesfully make a dish, that's not easy to show off
Fun fact: Birds are the last surviving dinosaurs so every time you have chicken, pheasant, turkey, or any other poultry/bird, you are eating dinosaur meat!
I got this book recommended via Czech bookstore and had to get it for my partner as a nameday present. Had really mixed feelings about the recipes themselves because of people´s opinions, but after watching your video, Im really glad I didn´t throw out my money.
You probably spent half the cost at the grocery store then what a burger cost at the park..I wish you compared prices that would be so kewl. Ty for the awesome video.
If you drink, try using that ginger syrup with gin. My father loves gin and gingers, normally he makes them with ginger ale, gin, and a splash of grenadine, but I think a blue cocktail to compliment would be a great idea. Might do to use empress gin, which itself is blue!
This is the first time I heard of hummus being made with lentils instead of chickpeas/garbanzo beans as a base. So no matter what, well done is safer for burgers than medium well or medium.
Y'know, I was kinda disappointed you didn't pick The Amber Lollipops as One of The Desserts for The Video. But I guess it was either too hard to make or you didn't have the ingredients for it. A Shame... [2:52]
Seeing a lot of comments about the sea prune stew makes me think it'd be cool for you to do a video revisiting recipes you "messed up" on and could re-do to see if they come out better with more experience and feedback
I agree with you! I loved having leftover pickled onions from the burger recipe. It does so well with many foods that I found myself eating it with everything!

That looks delicious. But I still have one nagging issue with Jurassic World's food options. Why is Jurassic World serving prawns and beef? If I'm in a park with dinosaurs I want to eat a dinosaur.
Bringing back dinosaurs just to eat them would be WAY too costly..and likely unethical and not regulated so uhm 😅 I’d personally go to a dinosaur park to see dinosaurs not eat them

really like the concept of this cookbook! so cool that they were imagining what food could be sold at jurassic park

Tip for chips! I find using peanut or sesame oil rather than olive oil makes them taste soooo good! Especially with carrot and parsnip!
This. Olive oil is for flavor, neutral oils are for frying.
