LOVE it when food UA-camrs leave in mistakes. Showing that these are part of cooking is instrumental in making people feel comfortable with their own mess-ups. Keep up the amazing work!
I agree! Making mistakes is an important part of the cooking process so I hope y'all will be able to learn from mine 😄
I’ve been making pizza dough for about 2 months, and I sometimes forget to add cheese on my pizzas and Calzones!😂
The marshmallows might have taken more time to dry because of the humidity where you are.
The last time I made marshmallows it took days for them to dry properly because I forgot to keep in mind the fact that it was raining adds dampness to the process.
Wow that might have been it. I think it was raining the day I made this. Crazy!
That's really interesting how weather can effect cooking 🤯
This intro skit is my absolute favorite! You keep outdoing yourself every single upload.
Glad you enjoy it!
Ive never seen such a great cooking intro, amazing work!!
LOL thanks so much!
@@MisoHungrie the voice acting was so amazing, the little cracks and fluctuations were perfect!!
I honestly REALLY enjoy all of your cookbook videos. I can see that you just enjoy the process of it all and don't care for "perfection". Keep it up!
Thank you so much! I just love cooking and eating so I enjoy it all haha
I know that you aren't a big fan of the use of drawings instead of actual photos of the foods but I think that you'll like "Recipes from the World of Tolkien". It's not an official cookbook but it feels really well made (even though some of the recipes are for 5 year old)
I might check it out one day 👍
recipes for 5 year olds are good too. if you want something simple to do or your actually you know doing it with a kid either way it's fun and (hopefully) delicous
That opening was pure gold!
This is so interesting. I have the Star Wars Wookie Cookies cookbook which I mostly use for the French toast instructions. It has really quirky action figure photography. Lava cakes are super hard.
Yeah those cakes got me struggling. And yeah I think I remember seeing that cookbook. I vaguely remember Darth Maul riding a cantaloupe lol
Insane Intro, I love it when people make videos and obviously have fun doing so! Please keep going and stay awesome
I had a lot of fun putting this together! I'm glad you liked it 😊
Honestly, it sounds like Darth Bakeus got a win.
I always had a stronger tendency for the dark side, so my love for the dark-side recipes in this book were written in destiny.
But as my father was a confectioner who teached me everything he knew, i'm happy to say that the force is strong in me.
But damn, do i love molten lava cakes 😂
The force is definitely strong in you! And yeah I wish the molten lava cakes turned out a bit better 😅
There's a book by Victoria Rosenthal called The Way of the Househusband:. The Gangster's Guide to Housekeeping.
I love the Househusband manga!
It's a bit different from your usual cookbooks, but I would love to see what you think about it!
I'll add it to my list! I've only seen snippets of the anime but it does intrigue me
@@MisoHungrie I can't wait to see what you do with it!
The openings are getting better and better!
I am sad we didn’t get to see the log though as that looked cute af.
Thanks! I agree the log cake looked pretty awesome. Maybe I'll do the recipe in the form of a Short
Log/roll cakes are the bane of most bakers existence, super hard to not get cracks! But I guess in this case it would add to it? I refuse to touch roll cakes for this reason
Why is your acting low key so good!? I was so into the intro
That intro was everything
2:25
Why do these cookies look like Anakin when he fell into the lava lmao
lool now that you mention it they kinda do haha
Your intros are the best 👏👏👏
Thanks!!! 😁
That opening is the perfect kind of stupid. It's beautiful.
Marshmallows can be temperamental, personally I like the Italian Meringue style which is a really similar process to what you did except it subs in an egg white for some of the gelatin and I don't think it uses corn syrup, just sugar and water. Stabilizing a meringue to be soft and chewy may also be tastier than whipping air into gelatin
Sounds great! I do love me some meringue
Your videos never fail to amuse me. I always enjoy watching your cooking videos whenever I am not having a very good day and it always cheers me up. Please continue making videos as much as you like and I guarantee your next video won't fail to amuse me. Thank you for creating such interesting content.
The intro is absolutly amazing
It’s good to alternate with just the ratio on the ones you tried. Since you know what minor mistakes. Also, just add a post-it note on the books you bought, and make a key note on what additional or subtract ingredients. Which, is another good idea
Good tips!
Your channel always makes my mouth water!
Thank you 😋
I adore your channel, these videos are so much fun!
Glad you like them!
Already have the regular Star Wars cookbook that you covered before, and I've been wnating to get this one! Can't wait to get it soon!
Hope you enjoy your Star Wars sweets!
That was actually a pretty good impression of Palpatine.
Lol thanks! I just love his voice in the movies
We NEED a full Cook Wars: Galactic Baking trilogy. The icons for the recipes are such a nice touch. I can appreciate the little things like that. Dude, hear me out.....The kibble on top of ice cream......
Oh man kibble on the ice cream would be great. And yeah I gotta do another Star Wars book to complete the trillogy haha
Great video, Miso! Everything looked super yummy, even if everything didn't taste as good as it looked lol
P.S. Marshmallows are considered healthier because they are relatively low calorie and have no fat. 🤷♀️
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it 😄
I am in love the aesthetics of this book, even if they don't taste good, I'm tempted to make all of them! And I have no idea how marshmellows are considered "healthy", that's some dark side wizardry for sure
Definitely a cute book!
I've actually used this exact book before for recipes, my whole family loves the brownie recipe (best kept cold, as the frosting doesn't taste good at room temperature), and I tried making the marshmallows that you made, but they burned because we didn't have a candy thermometer for the process.
Glad to hear the brownies are good!
This video was honestly amazing~
I really love the baking videos ngl😊
Lol thanks! It's definitely a true learning experience for me
Yey! Another video
Glad to be able to brighten up your day! Thanks for watching 😊
LOOK AT ALL OF THOSE SWEETS I WANT EM
roll on floor laughing. Your videos are so funny.
maybe if you used a red velvet cake mix, and used white chocolate for the center of the lava cakes it might taste good while still being red, and the filling would ooze out better!
Honestly I would watch you cook normal food too. Please upload more. The wait is too long for these cookbook videos.
Also, almost 100k subs guys. WE CAN DO IT!
Yeah I wish I could churn these out faster but life just gets so busy. Will try to get the next one out asap!
Yooo that intro was amazing. I loved it
1) The acting in the beginning was 10/10
2) PLZ DO THE STUDIO GHIBLI COOK BOOK I AM LITERALLY B E G G I N G PLZ
Darth Bakus had me ROLLIN'!!! 😂😂😂
I love this channel so much. Danke Dir
Glad you enjoy it! Thank you for watching 😊
Awesome man love your videos
Love that intro
Upon reflection, the complete lack of author's credit bugs me. Someone developed those recipes and assembled that book, and I dislike Disney trying to act like it spontaneously manifested.
This really seems like a cookbook for families, especially ones with pre-school age kids. It looks like it's small & light enough for a child to carry & recipes like the Loth-Cat snack & marshmallows are ones a lot of kids would really enjoy.
Some steps such as heating things in the microwave would mean that kids would need to work with parents or elder pre-teen/teen siblings to make the recipes but that may be the point in encouraging older family members to work with younger ones, having fun with making the goodies as a family team then enjoying the fruits of their labor together.
As for the more complicated recipes like the lava cakes, those may be in there just for older kids &/or parents who want to make more challenging things on their own 🧑🍳
Glad to see you're going strong with the baking. You'll get the hang of it. I believe!
Thank you! One of these days I'll bake something good 😅
All those recipes make my teeth hurt just looking at them. But I think I would Love that first one. (Side note, I don’t know where you live but those Corn Pops look VERY different from the ones I can get at my local grocer)
I'm tempted to go to the Dark-side for those Lava cakes
Love your videos
Look good. Easy for kids to makes
I love ur channel since Fallout 💪🏼 amazing
Another fun video, and keep having fun hamming up those intros.
Thanks! Will do!
i love your intros so much xD
For someone who doesn't bake much, you sure do have a lot of backing cook ware. There's actually a few Star Wars cookbooks out there. Maybe try some of the other ones and see how those turn out.
Forget Darth Plegus I'd totally sit through all of Darth bakeus teaching any day sorry to the jedi I've gone grey 😂
Grey Jedi is best Jedi 👍
Loving your intros! The Dark side suits you! :)
Glad you like them! Red is definitely more of my color haha
I'm admittedly a bit jaded on Disney cookbooks. I feel can afford to be a bit more adventurous with their recipes than they ever seem to be. But I realize this is probably mostly just a me thing.
always excited when i see a new Miso video pop up!
side note: how are you doing this Marvel Snap Season? I'm the closest to infinite i've ever been (95.6) and i'm really hoping i can hit it in the next few days!
I'm havin a lot of fun with Snap! Althrough nowhere near Infinite though, struggling to pass 70 lol. But I really bought Thanos so I'm playing around with that and getting used to the Infinity Stones mechanic
@@MisoHungrie Nice i don't have Thanos yet (currently saving my tokens!) but i'm excited to try him out! Good Luck on the Ladder!
awesome intro
Seconds in you got a like from me
Love that there's a lothcat recipe! Although it's "loath" not "lawth" haha! But only a small gripe. I defs will look into this bake book!
D'oh I should have checked the pronunciation. I'm not very familiar with those guys haha
@@MisoHungrie it's all good! Their home world showed up in Star Wars Rebels originally, so unless you watched Rebels you wouldn't know.
Thanks for getting back to me though! :0
I wonder if the apple cider played a role in the lava cakes being underwhelming sweet such an odd ingredient for sweets and also they should also say to make the balls bigger since cake batter expands def needs some tweaking as you did with the marshmallow recipe
would *love* to see you take on the disney princess or american girl cookbooks
I have the Disney Princess one on my list!
Could you do The Good Place cookbook? Thanks!
Hey man. Love the video!
But i believe what happened to your marshmallow is that you cooked the sugar too hot on the first batch. It was beginning to caramelize when you poured it into the mixing bowl. It was pretty yellow. The sugar is very important for the structure of the marshmallow but if you cook it too much it will be too hard. On your second batch you sugar mixture was very clear so you probably cooked it correctly but in trying to fix it with less gelatine you ended up with too soft a result. Next time if your sugar goes too far just grab another pan and redo the sugar stage before combining it with the gelatin and you should be good!
Keep it up, love the channel!
Ahh makes sense. That could be it. Next time I make some mallows I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!
the intro impression of palatine was breath talking no kidding!
lol Darth Bakest 😂😂😂
Amazing video as always
Also funny, nobody realizes that every baker is a Sith lol
Non-canon? Nah, I want to believe the Sith empires of old about bring "Sith Cookies" to every meeting
Lol if they're bringing cookies to every meeting I'm joining the dark side in a heartbeat 😈🍪
Can you store the lothcat ceral and eat it in a month or two
There are three other star wars cookbooks wookie cookies darth malt and bb-ate
Darth bakeus sounds like if snoop dogg was in star wars
Another interesting review! I wonder how'd you go with _Marvel Comics: Cooking with Deadpool?_
I have that on my list! Hopefully one day I'll get on it
@@MisoHungrie Sounds good! So far I made the signature chimichangas and a dessert called 'Bleeding Hearts'!
The marshmallows turning too hard might mean your sugar got too hot/low liquid content. You might not have taken it off the heat fast enough or maybe your sugar thermometer isn't accurate
Dang have you ever thought of acting as a side job? Cause that skit was good 👍
Doctor who has a cookbook.
The book looks a bit gimmicky, seems like the recipes aren't perfect either, I guess the force is not strong in this one, but your intro made me laugh, that was great.
6:03 😳
Do you think you might try to redo recipes you believe you messed up?
That might be a good idea! If it's worth revisiting I might do a short on it
Lol, the first recipe is Puppy Chow.
hey there bro
A master baker is the true sign of the dark side.
😈
Howdy.
It’s called the Dark Side because you left it in the oven for too long
Lol I DO have a habit of doing that 😂
DID YOU KNOW: that just like Thanos in the Avengers, in real life, death is inevitable
Love the intro xD but the book doesn’t seem as enticing to me :/ I don’t have that much of a sweet tooth and this is a lot of decoration rather than really flavor research from what you shared.
(Joke) "beat it till its white and thick" hmm
It was fun watching this video but when you dumped the whole bottle of food dye in it jump scared me.
Ps: nice palpatine voice
“Beat it until it’s white and thick” what💀
Weerrrkkkk editing and acting 🎭 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
maybe it's "healthy" because it has not HFCS in it?
And did some american promoted their Soda as healthy because of that?
And you did all the unnecessary head turns 🤣🤣
Your Great the book seem Boring 😅
I got diabetes by just watching this video and I cannot even get half the used ingredients in EU... lol
so much sugar that its giving me betus by just watching
