Some of the drawings in the comic are top notch and some others... look really, really bad. It is so weird to see how it jumps to have a perfectly drawn face to... the other ones that are less good looking
Makani's (worked on the TF2 comics) redraw of Three Sisters despite how sketchy it is, captures each sister's struggles they're dealing with a lot better than the official one.
"hey blizzard think we cant get some windrunner development? i mean sylvannis is the big bad and she has two sisters that are hardly used... do you think maybe we can quest with them and get some of their thoughts?" "hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... no"
I hate seeing people saying that Sylavans was Vereesa’s fault. Vereesa’s children were her top priority, they are her beloveds children, imaging them in death at such a young age would of been heart breaking for her. I can see and understand her decision and backtrack.
Whoever wrote Sylvanas blaming Vereesa for the Legion's invasion should really brush up on their history. What control did Vereesa even have over Garrosh's warmongering? No, you know who we should blame? It's Kairozdomu, because he brought Garrosh with him and expected him to go by his and Wrathion's initial plans to build a large enough uncorrupted Horde to help Azeroth stave off the Legion (regardless of war crimes), only for Garrosh to kill him and take advantage of both dragons' plans.
If anyone recalls Sylvanas' ultimate "Charm" in WarCraft III TFT, I think she "charmed" Vereesa in a way when she wanted her to join the Forsaken and rule the Horde with her. She even played on Vereesa's decision-making and grief when the latter considered taking both Galadin and Giramar to the Undercity.
Little moon could have been the cure for Sylvanas’ desperation, but instead she had became the last straw, a lethal poison, to shatter the last remaining humanity of Sylvanas.
Considering the "sindorei" betrayed and murdered the women and children of all their allies...including both humans and the high elves from which the sindorei separated themselves.....I don't feel sorry for them. I played through the complete stories of both a blood elf paladin and a blood elf warlock and I was eager for the chance to slaughter as many sindorei in netherstorm as I could. On that blood elf paladin, no less.
I did the marksmanship hunter quest with my then blood elf hunter, Tellaria Dawnfeather. If you do the quest as a blood elf, Vereesa accepts your help, but points out the mistakes your leaders have made. Tellaria comes from a family of rangers that have served the Windrunners for centuries, and Alleria has been her hero for years. She never cared for the Horde, and never agreed with her people leaving the Alliance. She found Alleria's bow, and later met her hero on Argus. After hearing of the burning of Teldrassil, Tellaria defected from the Horde, sought out Alleria, and joined the void elves. Because she joined after Teldrassil, she avoided the transformation, and has kept her natural skin tone, like Alleria. But she did dye her hair blue, to further emphasize her true allegiance.
@Prince Stormstrider joining the Horde might have been a mistake for the Blood Elves (although it was needed for their survival back then), but make no mistake, joining the Alliance never was very beneficial for High Elves or Void Elves either. The Humans are just keen to use Quel'dorei and Ren'dorei as soldiers for the Alliance during a world conflict but they will do very little for them in times of peace, as it is evident by the fact that during all these years they never cared to help the High Elves rebuilding a kingdom of their own (either with their manpower or resources) in the EK or Kalimdor, nor did they care to make a High Elf quartier in Stormwind like the Night Elves and Dwarves have. Void Elves have Telogrus' Rift but nothing else beyond that little rock where they can only study the Void but not expand economically nor build a proper capital city or kingdom for themselves, not to mention the Alliance is happy to keep them afar from Azeroth anyway because they are probably judged as potentially dangerous and even crazy sometimes because of the whispers of the Void. So as you can see the Blood Elves, despite the mistake of joining the Horde, are currently living a "good life" in comparison to their Alliance counterparts; but anyway in my opinion the Thalassian race is generally meant to be independent/neutral, or the Thalassian Elves are meant to live only alongside fellows Elves, and joining up with either Humans or Orcs was a mistake that brings very few benefits for both of the Thalassian factions
@@vados8500 This was purely from Tellaria's perspective. To her, a life of exile in human lands is better than a life in service of the Banshee Queen, a life in service of Death. Even after Sylvanas left the Horde, she feels more at home with Alleria and the Alliance. Most of my Blood Elf characters felt the same way, but stayed with the Horde, hoping the other leaders would one day see Sylvanas for what she truly was, which eventually happened. Many Blood Elf players were unhappy with the story of BfA, because they felt like they were forced to play the "bad guys", only because they wanted to play as "fair- skinned fantasy elves". This made more of them support playable High Elves, especially since Void Elves can't be paladins. I kinda agree with you, Thalassian elves would be better off neutral than fighting the wars of orcs and humans. In fact, Tellaria has a younger sister named Zehlia Dawnfeather who's a blood elf priest in- game, but has risen above the faction divide. She has devoted herself to the Light, stayed out of the Fourth War, and only identifies herself as a Thalassian. The two sisters are still as close as ever, and will both join the Kyrian covenant in Shadowlands.
I guess all that prophecy talk amounted to jaina getting out of dodge when the horde went to set up camp in dalaran during legion." Jaina:Nope" [ teleports away].
I read tides of war but I didn't remember that exchange between kalec and jaina where he's like "at least Arthas didn't have hatred in his heart" referring to strathholme. Heavy.
Image if garrosh was actually poisoned? A lot of things would change. Maybe. Wonder what will happen if we get another reunion with the windrunner sisters again after we’re done with shadowlands?
kinda hoping for them to reunite again too but not as part of a raid fight but more Sylvanas perhaps pulls a jaina or ends up like Azshara yanked away rather than killed at the end of her big fight and idk turned back into a living breathing elf again rather than a banshee and the elf she once was..the woman she once was before Arthas is back and her sisters can..idk.. forgive her blaming the banshee side for all her wrong doings. Then we deal with Alleria being attached tot he void... and stop the void from ruining their reunion
@Nobbel87 Totally unrelated to this video.... but could you do an analysis and maybe a lore speculation video that compares the "chains" of the upcoming patch to the "chains" of sort of arcane stellar magic that the titans were using to imprison the Old Gods both in Ulduar and beneath the ocean wherever Naz'jatar took us..... and then also maybe compared to the "chains" that appear from the holy priest spell named shackle undead..?
I hope that Sylvanas will loosen up, because honestly she can't deny that she see herself on Anduin being a powerless slave to an unwanted master. If there is any chance that Alleria and Vereesa will meet Lirath and Rhonin at the Shadowlands to soften Sylvanas or put her out of her torment permanently.
I think sylvanas will regret her actions because of her sisters we can even know that she won't betray her sisters because of the comics cause the other things she said were that she is proud to be warcheif and the second is that sometimes she wish she would still be alive and we know both are not true
Mhm, even Varian wasn't too pleased, but if you remembered what Jaina had gone through at the time, you might understand why she would do that. Also, at the very least, she did allow the Sunreavers to surrender and imprisoned, not like Garrosh who kept the Theramore prisoners as sports and eventually killed them, or Sylvanas who just outrighted burned every night elves citizens.
I played through the scenario with Jaina in Dalaran on my horde characters during mists..... and honestly Jaina was absolutely correct, and did nothing wrong. It was totally and undeniably evil what the sunreavers and many other horde npcs were doing....and I wish I could have killed them myself instead of most of them being let go or just exiled by Jaina.
