I want to point a little tidbit of lore that I thought was really cool/sad which is the Silken Court. Based off the flavor text of an item and the small description in the dungeon journal, Blizzard actually managed to make a pretty small and tragic story with them. On the necklace, Silken Advisor's Favor, the flavor text reads "To my most trusted advisors for their loyalty, wisdom, and above all - unity" which very likely means Takazj and Anub'arash were good friends before Ansurek took over. But since there's so much division, subterfuge, and espionage going on within Ansurek's court, they're convinced the other is trying to kill their queen when in reality they both just want to protect her. But the damage had already been done, and during the fight the lore is that one is trying to secretly kill the other as well as the raid group to better serve Queen Ansurek.
Another important point to mention: the mechanic that makes them share health is called "Queen's Proclamation," so lore-wise if one of them kills the other, they both die.

The other factions were willing to throw their everything in with having us help them viewing us as their best chance to turn the tide and were open and on-board with the notion of a continuous partnership afterwards which resulted in the Alliance and Horde having powerful allies backing them up when the time came for the final patch of an Expansion: the Arakkoa Outcasts reformed into The Order of Awakened to work with the Alliance and Horde in the battle of Hellfire Citadel to kick out the Legion, the Nightfallen would journey with us to Argus to defeat the Legion once and for all, the Rustbolt Resistance would align themselves with the Alliance and b3come a Playable Race in the final patch of BfA, the Venthyr would work together with the other Covenants to enter Zereth Mortis to finally defeat Zovaal the Jailer. Wonder what will happen to the Ascended once X'altath is defeated and the Void Lords and Old Gods presence is expelled from Azeroth for good. We see that many empowered that had turned into Hulks were lost to the Unseeming, hinting that either they perished mining for Void goop for Xal'tath, and perished to madness or were consumed by the void powers of that region. Makes me hope that they can get on good terms with the other people of Azeroth and leave the shadows behind. If Void Goo is polluting your tunnels, that's a good sign to make tracks and bail out. Also, I think that the decline that the Nerubians were facing may have in fact been a result of more than one front. First, the Cataclysm, Deathwing caused a huge shift in the techtonics of Azeroth and possibly even caused many tunnel/cavern collapses. The shift in techtonics could have cut off or destroyed some of the hunting grounds or resources the Nerubians had come to rely on and forced them into conflict with the Arathi. Then we have Sargeras gouging the planet with his planet sized broadsword. That caused more quakes and cave ins, plus caused void sludge to start oozing about the underground, possibly because his sword obliterated the remains of C'thun, but didn't destroy the essence entirely. The slime oozing into the various caves obviously has a negative affect on all life, void-based, titan-based and otherwise, so it's safe to say, the Nerubians could have been facing food shortages due to the void slime mutating creatures and possibly themselves into dangerous abominations, driving scouts and hunters mad, or any other ill fate that led them to be on the back foot and vulnerable to the machinations of the Void.
The way you word how we don't know what they gonna do with Remaining ascended, blood and who will lead now, really sounds like the easiest speculation would be "Hey lets find out how to use this black blood for Our own Safe purpouse and make queen ascended with it, but in good friendly way so she thanks the heroes and give Blizzard new spider race to play in next expansion" because nothing simillar happend yet riiiiight

On one side, I think it's a nice pattern to see how "corruption" or "enhancement" makes creatures look more humanoid. It has a few implications which I think makes them interesting. On the other hand, I don't think they actually planned that. For whatever reason, A.C.Blizzy thinks players prefer humanoid-looking monsters. Big reveal during prepatch of next expansion. Khadgar isnt dead cuz xalatath was also brought into that big purple orb it wasnt just him. But what we saw was portal magic, if you paid attention to portal animation in the warcraft movie very similar particle effect of teleportation when you walk through. But then the portal after reaching critical mass imploded after he was brought to xalataths love dungeon. Because all shadowpriests are just BDSM enjoyers in disguise. Thank nixxiom for this theory.
My theory is that the Mad Nerubian is the Queen of Cobwebs and thanks to the consequences from Xal'atath and the experiments from the black blood she will return to the kingdom that is desiring for war as the after effects from Queen Ansurek. I hope we don't get another council treatment for the spider people but it would be an interesting call back for the exiled queen to return thanks to the strands she has from the previous generations.
I guess maybe the Vizier will take over Azj-Kahet? He is very open with the rest of the nerubians and renowned amongst them. The General literally fucking dies in his questline and the Weaver would probably like to remain in the shadows pulling her strings for the good of the kingdom. And the Vizier, that guy already has his share of experience needed to rule. I sure as shit am tired of councils. Even most of the raids have a fucking council-type boss.
fact checker here: Evolution and free will and (including Flesh, see Magni retransform) come from azeroth and not the old gods (see 4th disc quest in tww)
The living nerubians should have drastically increased in numbers in all those years since WotLK. I mean the insectoid races lay huge amounts of eggs and i thought they had hidden a large amount mentioned in a quest. Maybe we will see more of them in TLT.
Assuming Xal'atath becomes a boss during or at the end of the saga, I bet when players kill her, they're gonna "/smell" her feet. And maybe this will be turned into some achievement. The fun would just double.

Blizzard's obsession with council leadership is hilarious, because historically that tends to lead to a lot of corruption.
"...Had...Had a Council of Six."
My favorite zone in TWW it's so beautiful and feels like an actual city
Would love to play a Nerubian. They are awesome.
My dude straight cooked in this video! Hilarious 😂
The Nerubian council will probably consist of The General, The Weaver, and The Vizier
Wake up babe, new Platinum WoW just dropped!
Even most of the raids have a fucking council-type boss.
fact checker here:
Evolution and free will and (including Flesh, see Magni retransform) come from azeroth and not the old gods (see 4th disc quest in tww)
