- THe history of the Djaradin is told to us through Tarjin the Blind who, after proving ourselves by killing a whole bunch of dragons, shares bits and pieces on the history of his people. Some tales might even become really important for the future, but only time will tell! I hope you'll enjoy ^_^

As soon as I heard that, I lost it.
I never expected that from anyone, especially Nobbel.
Whats that from?
@@SRC1923 it’s porn music
@9:09 ...Interesting choice of sound clips there, Nobbel. Not exactly what I expected to hear in one of your videos but then again, she did say she'd do "anything" lol!
i started frantically checking all my open tabs dude..
Oh good something look forward to for when I'm off work! Always giving timely content sir I thank you for it!
When the replacement developers introduced the Djaradin in the announcement events, they described them as "half-giants". But at the time, we interpreted that as......okay, maybe they are half giants in a similar way to how Garona is half orc; and we'll find out later what their other half may be. But turns out, the way they are being written and shown in actual dragonflight launch is that the term half-giant is a misnomer....for all intents and purposes they are full and whole and fundamentally giants......with a little bit of absorbed elemental essences soaked in between. As such, the only consistent way we can interpret the Tarjin stories is to understand that all Djaradin ultimately started out as giants constructed by the Titans and instructed to build geological features......and then after the Titans left...they kept on fighting and living. Until the Dragon Aspects put every titan construct to sleep on the Isles....which naturally included all the Djaradin.
Half-giants, like half-lings. Half sized giants XD
@@DarkScreamGames Read my entire comment; it was already addressed.
Only a fool believes their own headcanon over the canonical lore of the writers. If they say they're half-giant, and they were only introduced in THIS expansion, that means they know what the other half is, we just don't yet. People are so disillusioned with the lore that they think retcons happen within the same patch the info is introduced in, despite Blizzard saying, CONSISTENTLY FOR OVER 15 YEARS, that they plan expansions two expansions ahead of time. That means they know the big lore details for everything for the next 5-6 years. Writing doesn't take time, making lore determinations don't take time, developing the actual playable game is what takes so long. As a game developer, and writer, I can personally verify this. When I wrote a book, or a game story, I know all the details of the story before coming anywhere near finishing the final product. Most of the work is in describing scenes, and finalizing dialogue. I don't expect non-writers/devs to understand this concept, though, so I understand your ignorance, even if you don't.
@@monkeysk8er33 You must be typing in the wrong comment chain...... because you certainly are not responding to what I actually typed. I never once mentioned or implied the word retcon.... nor did I invent a headcanon. What I typed is what we have been presented with in game so far. The only ignorance so far seems to be coming directly from you.
Seems to me that perhaps the Djaradin are titan keepers/constructs of some sort corrupted by the curse of flesh, that would explain why they truly became their own race after 4 elders ventured deep into the earth and would also explain why many of them went to sleep when the Isles went to sleep - some hangover from their original protocols.
I love the Djaradin, their Lore is pretty cool.
Iridikron being an Earth dragon and the main focus with Neltharion being juxtaposed in relation thematically feels really on the nose, but I'm guessing it's going to lead into dealing with what's really going on with Azeroth itself (Herself?)
Personally still holding onto them hopefully not truly retconning the Old Gods being only pushed back down into their prisons at AQ and Ulduar rather than us somehow killing stronger gods than N'zoth without the Origination Ray that we needed to even take out a fake OG (G'huun). And with Deathwing being corrupted by an Old God specifically, the themes revolving around "Earth", the Void Lords still hanging out in the background as the only Big Bad we haven't directly confronted, yet were a big part of why everything happened the way that they did (before the Jailer took that title), I feel like they're reversing their decision and the Old Gods are fine and chilling in their weakening prisons under the earth. I feel like Magni's going to be their Herald, and it'll be the big reveal after the next major patch that will deal with the underground shenanigans, possibly including a raid in part focused on the Djaradin and their goddess in another "Deepholm"
There's also this passive focus on Nozdormu and his eventual change into Murozond. If he can deal with time, and the champion literally went back in time and confronted Old Gods that recognized them, the fact that an Infinite dragon was involved alone speaks that that might be another possible way for them to get around the Old Gods being dead. Murozond was also corrupted by Old Gods, so naturally they'd use him to somehow survive, and Murozond has control over space and time so maybe there's some Doctor Who hijinks in the works to lead us into a Black Empire 2: Electric Boogaloo xpac after DF
Also feel like Iridikrond will be transformed into Galakrond Jr for the patch after, and I hooope that eventually leads to a big epic battle with an army vs a bigas s dragon monster as huge as a mountain lol
It's a little blatant, but given all of the weird twists and turns the lore's taken, I'm okay with them doing things to just get it back on a familiar and sensical track. I'm fine with retcons and refinements on rough patches of old lore, but it got a little silly. DF feels like it's going in a solid direction for the series imo
Personally I am really fucking sick of the old Gods after N'zoth. I prefered the C'thun and Yog'Saron approach where their plans were large, mostly in the background and we dealt with the echoing reprocussions. N'zoth felt like a cartoon villian who pulled a fucking Aqir invasion force out of his ass and doing "Just as planned" with us slapping his shit in would hammer that home.
I think the hatches people are talking about might be the triangulation devices for engineers. We have to unlock those to be able to pick a zone with the wormhole generator for DF.
They are.
I didnt expect the “ song “😂😂
if there are also troll djaradin as ancient primordial primal first original troll ancestors.
I fully expect this guy to have some connection to the Iridikron realm / area.
The hints and the context are all over the Djaradin lore of an "underground" where their people are forged into the war mongers that they are today.
While it's a little silly that a "master of the Earth" such as Iridikron would simply hide underneath the very area he was imprisoned I feel like this is just a temporarily thing for him and he will create some sort of new continent
After all he has ice, fire, and earth to work with and the Renown 24 quest from Expedition hints that Tyr was going to use this primalists for something else
I had ideas that they were made by Neltharion so that he can keep his forces strong, but i guess it's too far fetched.
Also....... I have a speculation that has "not" been said in game.....but could be consistent with it. What if the tale told by Tarjin specifically about the "outsider" who came from outside and fought them then joined them for a while......was actually Neltharion in disguise? Literally, what if this was one of the sneaky plots that Neltharion carried out to spy on the Djaradin and gain their trust and get inside their society.....so that he could ultimately find these Elders and sabotage their leadership? What if that was the supposedly cowardly trick that Neltharion used to defeat those Four Elders which Tarjin mentions elsewhere?
As I understand it, we know "what" the outsider was - a Vrykul from Northrend or the Broken Isles. There's a ship crashed on the Forbidden Reach that hints at this.
@@OmegaShanic We don't "know" any such thing. That would just be another speculation.....same as my speculation about Neltharion using a visage form to sneak into Djaradin civilization only to get rid of the elders.
Then the Tale of the Outsider would Not have been told nearly as positively. To be consistent that Idea would have to mean that Neltharion's treachery wasn't known, which wouldn't make sense as Tarjin wouldn't have told us about it as If He knew of the treachery then.
@@OmegaShanic How tall are Djaradin compared to Vrykul? It seems weird to call a race "half-giant". I mean, why not just call them "giants"? A person that is 7'4" and a person that is 8'10" are both giants from my perspective. To call someone half-giant would seem to imply that you believe that only one side of their parentage is a giant.
@@cthulwho9125 Not necessarily. Tarjin does not have to realize the true identity of the Outsider....just as many people didn't realize that Prestor wasn't really human. Tarjin is not an omniscient narrator.....so as far as he knows, the elders somehow lose to Neltharion without actually fighting....and he would naturally call that cowardly treachery.
they r p cool race tho i rlly want a cutscene w one of them fighting a vrykul
As nice as it is to have a change of scenery after Shadowlands, a lot of Dragonflight doesn't hit the right tone for me. Sometimes it feels "Warcraft", and sometimes not. I felt this way about Pandaria too. High quality, but just not my vibe.
But then there's Tarjin the Blind. Originally his quest required *25* dragon skulls just to get a story from him each week. An absolute massacre of dragons, for no reward other than another story. And it was worth it every time, because that's the purest heavy metal fantasy I love Warcraft for.
I wonder if the hatches are the waypoints you can unlock as you level up the factions. Also in the north west part of The Azure Span there is a dragonscale expedition camp that has a team of miners and magical picks digging into the mountain. Could be a way into the next patch if we go underground
I wonder if those mole creatures could be the ancestors of the Kobold race, kind of like how the Tarasek are the ancestors of the modern Drakonid.
they and the vykrul are so damn cool, they should give them to us has new playable races!!! vykrul for the alliance and djaradin for the horde. instead we got these miniature dragons 🥲🥲, there is more lore of this new race right?
My theory is the Djardin are descended from Earth Giants, But not directly like the Fleshy Storm Giants of Northrend, instead, they are to the Storm giants what Humans are to the Vrykul; They are an even further progression of the curse of flesh, This is why they barely understand their titan heritage, like Humans, they have had no real contact with it.
Yo new nobbel vid lets gooo!!
Whats that cinematic with thrall and the orcs
The Horde-side Warlords of Draenor questline, heading from Frostfire Ridge to Gorgrond. If you have the time, I'd totally recommend playing thru the WoD leveling quests, they're some of the best in the game.
@Wyntrfang thanks i will do . After the rep grind and power lvling my alts in dragonflight
I want to know who Igira is, the Djaradin mention her sometimes when they die! Maybe she's their god?
When you send a video about Sepulcher of the First Ones raid
Yeah heres the problem when you turn all the sadistic zombie people into simply victims of circumstance. You kind of have to justify their existince. If you get resurrected as an undead and automatically go to hell when you die again that would've been enough reason for them to go on. And creating more undead to put between them and whoever is out to get them would be motivation enough.
cool
The person telling the story often changes the story to work in there favor.
History's often written by the winner.
