3months ago I was at my heaviest which was 220lbs, it got hard down the line but staying consistent really does work! I have lost 31lbs and im not stopping! I haven't felt this good about myself in years and im telling you all jo's workouts are so good! Thank you Jo and God bless you all!
So much to love about this video…it really is structured perfectly. 1. No talking check ✅ 2. Targeted & activated muscles diagram ✅ 3. Next move display ✅ 4. Timer✅ 5. High energy/low impact ✅ 6. Exercise visualization from a variety of angles ✅ 7. Your energetic motivation and smile ✅ 8. The only thing missing is your adorable dog… 🐾 I’ve been doing many of your workouts and love them. This is a new favorite! Thanks!
I hate when they talk. I enjoyed the first part, it was fine-- but I hate when I'm trying to get in the zone but their super peppy, high-pitched voice keeps telling me to push myself harder. Like, it's so annoying. I'm trying my hardest, and they make it sound like it's not enough. Which makes me give up. So not hearing that, was actually motivating me to keep going.
I’m medically obese right now and I’m in the process of losing weight and gaining some muscle. I got through about 20 minutes of this with some breaks in between 😁 I’ll be able to do the whole thing someday! Update: Lost 11 pounds!! Update 2: Lost 15 pounds and my advice is to stop eating when you’re satisfied or even slightly full and to go at your own pace and do the easy stuff now and ramp up the difficulty when you feel like you’re ready 😊 don’t give up!!! Update: Lost 23 pounds!! ❤️ Also if you guys are curious my starting weight was 200 and my current is 177. Update: Lost 25 pounds Update: Lost 30 pounds as of October 15
I’ve been doing this workout since Jan 2024 and I have lost 6 lbs. I’m just using a 2kg dumbbells because that’s what I can tolerate. Thank you for making this home workout videos, Jo. It helps me exercise at home without having the anxiety to go to the gym ❤
What I loved most about this is; you show exactly what muscles are being worked per move. It’s very important to know where you should feel the work when lifting. I also love the Fact the timers are both visible and have sound. And I love you Jo! Thank you keep doing what you do .
I'm 23 and haven't worked out in years (except yoga). I only had one 10 lb dumbbell so it was a struggle but I'm so proud of myself for doing the whole 30 minutes! As someone with ADHD, it's really hard for me to find motivation to go to a gym and to not get bored. You made this so fun with playing good house music and changing it up so often! Can't wait to watch more of your videos :)
Soooo. I started to do this workout last monday, i do this 5 times a week and do other workouts in the remaining two. I only have a pair of 1 kg bumbbells. I lost 2,5 kg (from 92, 5 to 90 kg) and my skin feels tighter 😊i burnt 312 calories with this workout tonight. I have insulinresistency and sugar addiction and im 29yrs and having a reaaaallllly hard time stay consistent. But i do this. Every day. Im really proud of myself. And im Thankfull for you Jo! You will give my health and stamina back 😊😊😊❤️
You go, girl. I'm so proud of you!! Did this help you get weight off your belly? I have a protruding gut because of insulin sensitivity due to PCOS. Wanted to know if I can achieve that, for that is my goal!
This is so cool. I moved to a new country for higher education and messed up health so bad. Gained weight and developed insulin resistance. Massive sugar cravings and fall on and off workouts. This comment gives me hope. ♥️
honestly it feels so good to make it at the end of the video, I've always stopped half-way through it, but today, I decided to shut down the voices in my head and continued through on my own pace , if you're like that just know that you're not alone, as long as you don't give up on yourself, you got this sisterrr..or brother even x
I’m now 3 months into working out and counting calories and living for my health. I’ve lost 10 kilograms yet and not giving up. I love your workouts! Don’t give up guys, we are going to do this together and reach our goals! 💪♥️😘
I HATED gym because of weighted workouts. I am a dance girl, so I did do Zumba which help me loose inches! This is the first time in my life I did a weighted workout and COMPLETED it!! ❤ Loved it, and I wont stop. Someone remind me on 28th Feb to update my weight!
I DID IT! With how skinny and weak I am, I did not think that I could do a full 30 min workout! Even though I only used 5 lbs, I’m still proud of myself
I cannot wait for this! Love how you’ve been introducing weights in workouts, paired with your walking workouts we’re about to be the most shredded community on UA-cam 💪🏾
I been doing this workout for about a week in a half . I see results guys 🙌🏾. 2 inches off my waist and I am more flexible. I will measure the other parts of my body and check in another week to see a change. I love this workout mostly because it gives me a good sweat so after I take a shower , I sleep like a baby , Thanks Jo , keep it up ♥️
@@ladynamez I worked out everyday but not on weekends. I also ate healthier too so that could play a role of the inches of my waist falling off so fast
Started working out after 4 months ... Was about to skip after 18 minutes.. Took a break for 3 mins to cool down.. Then finished it i am proud of it. Will do this everyday from now on. Day-1 ✅ Day-2✅
I just want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Jo. I started doing this workout two months ago,I also follow her diet plans, and tips for body positivity, and I am just amazed and extremely thankful! I have tried so many times to lose weight before but it was always unsuccessful since I was losing my motivation very fast, however, with Jo my motivation just keeps on growing!!! That’s insane! 😆 I even started enjoying working out! Her energy is extremely energising and positive! I lost 10kg thanks to Jo and I have never been happier with the way I look! Jo, if you happen to read this, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! You are amazing! Thank you for existing and for spreading your positivism through your workouts❤️
I did this workout twice before and never got to the end of the video... today I did the full workout for the first time!!! you wanna know how? okay I was feeling very jealous about how and why is everyone else better than me and felt so frustrated, then I started doing this, right from the beginning I looked at myself in the mirror and realised I look nothing like the negative image I've created in my mind of myself. I know I'm not very fit right now and I've always wanted to be skinnier. But looking in the mirror right now I'm wearing a lower and a tshirt and I love how my chubby arms look, I love how my thick thighs look I don't know why I always hated them. I love my butt, my chubby cheeks which makes my smile more heartwarming!! I love my posture and the way I move!! I used to dance since I was a child, but stopped like 4 years ago but I love how I can still dance so good!! I love the way I stand and walk and look attractive to me!!! I was loving what I was looking at the mirror and that's what got me throughout the whole workout!! I swear I've never felt so good. All the jealousy I was feeling just went away and I feel so much better now. I can't wait to do this workout consistently and become an even better version of myself!! good luck to all of you
If you just completed this workout, congratulations to you! I know how much discipline and commitment it takes to even start. You've done the hardest part. Keep going and don't quit. lots of love, Shelley
What I love most about this workout is that even though it involves weights it’s great for a beginner! Even as a beginner you could feel like this is possible to do and not feel intimidated!
No matter how many times I do this workout, it doesnt get much easier!! Started out with 7 lb when I first started and now 8 and 10 lb. And im 72 with multiple ortho injuries from past running. 😊. Love the resistance workouts to mix in with cardio
literally the best workout i’ve ever tried. gets your heart beating and lets you break a good sweat, but also tones your body really well and targets every part of your body while not being too hard to do. thank you for this 🥰 i’ve been doing this everyday for a week now :)
First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.
What I love most about this workout is the premier aspect. I was motivated to wake up and be ready! I love how you showed what muscles we are activating. I like your countdown, and it's nice to try weights!
I've started working out again after a long gap and this is the first of many, many strength workouts that I haven't hated. I love you Jo and am so grateful for what you do every day. 💜
I did this today and everytime I saw her mouth “you got this” I went “👀??? You sure?” But kept it going. Had to pause inbetween but the sweat was real. Been doing your workouts for a few weeks and I can tell my stomach area has gone down so thank you for all you do!
What I loved most about this workout was how it helped me target trouble areas I struggle with. I love the fact that I could do these without going to a gym or needing so many equipments. Working out is very new to me, it's only been a little over a month and your workout videos has helped when I've felt lost or confused. Thank you!
Thanks a lot to this channel....I've been doing some of her workout this past 3months and from 149lbs I was able to lose 18lbs. ..I reached a weight now where I'm having a hard time to lose more so I decided to do workout with weights now to have a toned body ..I'll try my best to update here I'm gonna start with my current weight,131lbs and have 4lbs weights each hahah...so we will see 1st day: Lol.😂😂 I had to stop halfway since I'm feeling dizzy and had to catch my breath probably from trying to follow her pace....it was too much for me Day 2: hurrraaaay... I was able to finish it..I did slow pace from some of the part that was too much for me to follow...I'm sweating a lot Day3: sweating a lot..but It wasn't so hard compared than yesterday..I still have to do slow pace at other part. Day 4: hurrraaaay I'm proud of myself coz I was able to follow her pace finally...without feeling dizzy or anything....well I'm sweating a lot since I followed her pace hahaha Day5: as usual...I'm sweating a lot again, hehe but I'm glad its not that hard.I'm gonna give it a rest for my muscle for day 6 and at day 7 ..just gonna do stretching and her other workout then gonna be back at weights again next week Day 8: had to get rest coz I was busy the whole day at 7 and was really tired from walking a lot Day 9: I started with my weights again...and was sweating a lot..I can follow her pace now, without worries...I noticed that my arms and legs were more toned now compared when I started...yaaaay I'm really satisfied Day 10 and on and on: still sweating....just gotta be consistent hehehe... I might update after a month but I will be consistent..I decided to take a break one day in between to let my muscle rest...I probably gonna do her other workout the next day.. I've lost 3lbs and my body were more toned as well...finally I can see my arms and legs got rid most of the fats hahaa😂😂 Update: It's been a month since I started this...I'm 126lbs now...my arms and legs were more toned..I feel healthy hahaha...the key to this journey is patience, discipline and consistency....Thanks to this channel for helping me reach my goal..It's really hard at first but I was able to do it anyway so I'm sure you guys can do it too☺️☺️..fighting🥰🥰
Wow! Congratulations on reaching your fitness goals!! I am hoping for similar results as you. I started about two months around the same weight (148) and working to get to the low 130's.. Congrats again!!💪🏽🥳
@@britt271 I'm at 120lbs now and feel so healthy now...I still do this workout mixed with other weight workout and skip a day to let my muscle rest also I do 10000 steps everyday...🥰🥰..consistency is the key..my first month was hard tbh but if you were able to pass that you'll get used to it😊😊
Doing this exercise for almost a week, and every day. This is my 4th or 5th day. You really don't need a gym. just get a few weights and stay consistnet and it will pay off. Looking to lose 20 lbs, in a very heaalthy way, before summer ends. Thanks girl. Keep going guys, you will get there!
🙏🏽 THANK YOU for completing all standing exercises and then going down to the floor (not back and forth) this was AWESOME. Take rest when you need to and continue your good work.
Did anyone else feel accomplished at the end of this workout 🥺👉👈 I feel so joyful and grateful to have finished this workout from start to finish (even with some mess ups). I used an 8lb dumbbell just like her and Jo you are STRONG!!! Thank you so much for putting out such amazing and empowering content!!!
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Revelation 3:15-18) you cannot live for this world and not try to stop sinning (being cold) and only believing in God(hot) without turning from sin or sinning and saying God will forgive you after or not read the Bible, pray, worship/obeying God. Which is being a lukewarm. If we are neither cold or hot, God will spit us out his mouth. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (Jeremiah 16:20) HAVING IDOLS IS A SIN JEREMIAH 16:20 , JEREMIAH 2:11 Revelation 3:15-18 explains that we can’t be cold and hot at the same time which is being a lukewarm. In other words, if we are hot, which is really repenting and turning from sin) if we are cold we just completely don’t really follow God. After following you for a while i finally started this workout and I wanna say thank you!!! It feels like I have my bestie in the room with me cheering me on. I love that you smile and dance so much and just exude positive energy. I’m ready to stop making excuses and get this done!! You’re my inspiration. Thank you!
I’ve been doing this workout for 3 days and I’m absolutely in love. This is actually beginner friendly and I feel amazing, I feel accomplished! Thank you so much. I 10/10 recommend this workout
i've been doing growwithjo for the last 4 months or so , lost count. I do a different growwithjo video every morning usually 30 minutes or less. I eat between 12-8pm only (but i don't restrict yet, still havn't tackled diet yet). But I started out at 189 and now I'm 160. I love her videos, and it is really paying off.
I have followed other channels of all kinds of exercise but none have kept me with the same routine for more than a week, they have become tedious. Instead, here it is as if time flies and without realizing it I have already done 30 minutes. Every day I look forward to that moment when I do my routine and I feel fantastic after finishing it. Even when I was having pain issues with my shoulder and was a little afraid of using weights, the truth is that even that pain has disappeared. Thank you
I started working out 3 weeks ago and today was the first time I did a 30 Minute workout without feeling like collapsing. This video is fantastic. I'll definitely work out with this one more often. I love the positivity you spread even when I don't listen to the sound. (I always have my own music in my ears) but I could just feel the support. Wonderful, thank you
I love that you show your rest times, and that you're sweating and getting tired like a normal person! This is my favorite full body workout to do because you motivate me to keep going with your dances and smiles! Thank you!
I absolutely LOVE how this video was done. Love that you included the activated muscle group on the left side so we know what muscle is being worked. Thank you for all you do!!
What I loved most about this workout is NO REPEAT. Thanks for keeping me interested in what was coming next, motivated to work hard through each move knowing it's the only round of it. My favorite move was the tricep kick backs to overhead press. Love the compound movements! This was a fun work out and I got sweaty sweaty. Thank you!!!
what I loved most about this workout is how beginner friendly it is - this workout waves hello to beginners and welcomes them while giving the intermediate intensity I crave! depending on the weights you use, you will work and feel all the muscles. even Jo at some points in this workout pauses, letting me know that though it's beginner friendly, it's hardly beginner if done right. thanks so much, again, for such an intensely wonderful workout!
Have been doing it for about a week and I'll keep going Day 1 ✅️ Day 2 ✅️ Day 3 🚫 Day 4 ✅️ Day 5 ✅️ Day 6 ✅️ Day 7 Drop it here so that I won't stop in the middle of the way, wish me luck guys ❤
Every time I watch the video I can only last for exactly 15 minutes. My goal is to be able to do it for 30 minutes straight. But I have 100% noticed a difference in my body when being consistent with your workouts. :)
What I love most about this workout is that it shows what muscles you are working during the routine and I love that it goes at a pace you can keep up with
Thanks, Jo! I've been lifting for a long time and I love that you brought your style to lifting. I'm so used to counting reps and this allowed me to focus on the muscles I should be engaging because I'm so used to your ques! I loved : - what muscles I should be working - the 4 second ques just like your cardio videos - muscle focus visual - no talking - Isolation of upper body during floor work and that once we were on the floor, we stayed on the floor. I would like to see: - Longer preview transitioning from rest to the next exercise. Especially because you did a lot of dynamic lifts (which I loved!). So I ended up missing a few reps to make sure I knew the movements. - alternate upper/lower body. When I super set, I feel more productive when I do an upper body lift, then a lower body lift so when I go back to upper body, those muscles can work harder after resting a little! Can't wait for more lifting videos! Thank you for putting your work out there and being so thoughtful and receptive to feedback. I really enjoyed this style and all of the new moves!
Hi Jo! I just finished the workout and boy do I feel amazing! Your energy is what helped me keep going. You have no idea how much this has motivated me. I have gained over 22 pounds (10 kgs) in the past year due to depression and other factors. I don't feel good looking at myself. Even while working out I keep looking at my fat folds and it makes me sad. But i have to start somewhere. Today was my first day using dumbells. I'm 19 and these myths around women/teenagers lifting weights has always stopped me. I hope to continue this workout from today and slowly get in good and healthy shape. Thank you so much Jo!
Found this a lot more doable than I thought. I've only done weights a little and that was years ago. As a 56 year old menopausal woman I keep hearing that I should be doing weights so here we go. I'll definitely come back. Sweated more in this than any of the aerobic stuff! Thanks Jo - enjoyable.
Love this. Simple enough to where I’m not getting frustrated yet a TOUGH workout. 40 lb overweight, completely out of shape (5 month old baby) but I did60-70% of it! Commitment made 💪🏼❤️
Five months postpartum and I'm trying to ease myself into working out. This was a great workout as a beginner. I was able to complete the whole 30 minutes! Looking forward to starting my exercise journey! 😀
JO!!! I have been now following your workouts steadily for 2 months. THIS IS THE ONE. This one is perfect in every possible way. I LOVE how it shows me what muscles I should be focused on. Please please create more dumbbell workouts like this!! I sing your praises!
Omg I just completed this dumbell workout and I feel so refreshed, energized and after my shower I feel like amazing! I did a 5lb weight as starting until my body gets stronger but I loved this. I can't wait to see more results not just inches but my body getting stronger over time. I plan on doing this 3 times a week to start. I didn't think I could keep up with this workout, but I did as much as my body could allow with each workout and sweated like crazy. Feeling so awesome thanks Jo!! Good luck everyone!!
What I love most about this workout is that I can do it no matter what mood I am in or no matter where my energy level is, so it offers me confidence to workout even if I don't have a lot of energy each day it feels super accessible. The second best part is that I always feel really good after, get a good sweat, and feel like I got a well rounded workout. On days when I have more energy I will use it as a great warm-up and days when I don't, I will use it as my full workout. I am loving it and super grateful, it is saved in my go to workouts folder.
What I like most about this workout is the helpful additional touches: the timer, the next move previews and the illustrations of which muscles I should feel. Thank you ⭐️
I so did this workout this morning and it was very doable. I used 5 lbs dumbbells instead of 8 lbs and found it challenging but not overwhelming. Thank you Jo for the workout. 💪😊
This is my first workout with weights. I enjoyed it so much! The music totally helps me keep going. I was dancing right along with you during the breaks 😂
Almost a year postpartum, was playing around this whole time. Finally started to take it serious and challenged myself to do all the workouts in the dumbbell serious. I'm on the 7th video and I love it. Thank you, Jo.
First two times I only made it to the ten minute mark (even though my dumbbells are really light...) Second two times I made it to eleven minutes. Going to keep trying that until I'm getting through the whole thing and/or using heavier weights!
Going into this workout I was kinda scared, I'm not going to lie. I did two other ab workout vids on UA-cam prior to this full body dumbbell workout. I was expecting to give up, but it almost felt that throughout the workout I was feeling stronger and I love how you incorporated all different types of workouts and how you did some workouts on the floor too. I'm proud I made it through, and I will definitely be doing this one again and your walking workouts I always love. Thank you Jo!
I am on steroids(medically) for over five years now. I have gained so much weight since then, the weight is so stubborn and is not shredding. You workouts are amazingg, thankyou jo💝
Loved this workout. I used 3lb dumbbells as I have a right tricep/shoulder injury from carrying my 1yr old around. Feels great and loving all the range of motion here. Thank u Jo!
I’m so glad you’re doing more strength. I started progressively overloading the workouts I love of yours to really push myself and this workout with the prompts on the side telling me what muscles to engage is amazing! You’re really showing us how to connect our minds to our muscles! I love it. I’m doing this one twice this week!!! Love you @growwithjo
I am embarrassed to say but I was only able to complete up to 10:18 of this video. I will be back tomorrow to start over in hopes to go further. This was fun overall and I'm excited that I've found a way to challenge myself and remind myself how far I've allowed my unhealthy habits to go. Thank you !!
Take small step. I does not matter if you only did 10 min. What matter is you did it . When i first started to do this i could not complete it but i did it again and agian. Thats how i completely do it now. You did great keep it up 🤘👍
glad to hear im not the only one as i lack motivation when it comes to exercise and everyone makes it seem so easy that i get embarrassed and give up but your comment of honestly really has helped me as i also was struggling after 10 minutes so thank you!!
I fear I wouldn’t be able to do complete this workout with the dumbbells I’m currently using. Would have to use my 2 lbs dumbbells. But def gonna try it.
Thank you Jo! I love this workout; I'm 55 and although I started out morbidly obese, I'm rather fit (no health issues), but still overweight (lost -20 already, want to lose about 10-15 more). But...my body is so stiff lately en the loss of muscles if you lose weight and are postmenopausal could become a problem. Then I found Jo! So this will be my 3 day routine from now on (small steps) and hopefully soon every day. Thank you thank you Jo !
I've been stressed lately and really haven't had a good workout habit since 2020. I've felt pretty bad about my body (I'll notice weakness when I'm just going up a flight of stairs). So, I'm trying to get back into working out, and figured a video would help motivate me and keep me from quitting halfway through. I had to take a few extra breaks, and was only using 5 lbs, but thank you so much for this! - and a reminder for anyone reading this: Don't work out for others. Work out for yourself, because your body deserves it
hi jo thanks for your workout and positive energy. I lost a bit of a weight maybe 10 lbs lost. I couldn't wear small size shirt but I finally can. Thank you ❤
Jo this is so cool when you have the warm up in the beginning and the cool down in the end. I have a playlist with your wotkouts with the warm up and cool down separate. Work outs like this help to keep things flowing smoothly when transitioning from the beginning of the work out to the end. No pausing 👍🏼❤
I was 160lbs like, two weeks ago. And then I purchased a set of dumbbells and looking for an exercise guide. Yours are the one I'm interested in. For two weeks, I did just half of this because I can't keep up more than that. lol. But I did this for 3 times a week for two weeks and now I'm 154lbs. Your workout burns so much I feel it in my body even though I didn't push my heartrate high like with HIIT. Thank you!
It's 11:30PM right now, and I'm fed up searching for a good gym in my area. This video looks promising and the comments are very positive. So, I am going to start this today. Current weight: approx 65kg Height: 5'3" Waist: Arm: Thigh: Day-1: ✅ (11:45PM- sweat a lot! A lot!!) Day-2: ❌ (too much in pain) Day-3: ✅ (8:00AM- less sweat, less pain) Day-4: ❌ (decided to do them on alternate days) (or i was simply lazy 😢) Day-5: ❌ 26.09.24:- Woww!! I completely skipped it for 2 months. Life has been super busy and I gained lots of fat. I kinda hate myself for that. I'll restart from this Saturday.
I follow jo's workout for 3 months now and usually i'm using 4 lbs for this workout but now first time i'm using 8 lbs for this and i'm SWEATING like crazy! It's burn and i can feel my muscle become stronger! I don't survive when jo doing legs workout but i'm trying to keep up and finish this video with happiness!🎉🎉 i love this workout soo much 🥰 good job Jo!! 💪💪
I’ve been doing your videos since February, but started doing your dumbbell workouts last week to get some more strengthening workouts in there, and I’ve done two so far and am really impressed with the fact that I didn’t both of them fully and worked up SUCH A SWEAT. I feel so powerful 🙌🏾 👊🏾
Great workout over all. I was can only do 17 minutes for my 7 1/2 dumbells. But my goal was to do 15 minutes so 17 minutes is a win for me. 2 days in a row. Hopefully by next week i can push to 25 minutes and finally be able to be strong enough to complete the whole workout on the 3rd or 4th week. I am sweating A LOT and I feel the after burn all day. My muscles are sore but I learned not to over do them so I can continue to workout daily. Thanks Jo! This is very thoughtful and helpful that you put info on what muscles are activated coz I always second guess myself when it comes to weights and what the move is for. Thank you! Wow. Loved loved loved this workout. My mat was wet with sweat, and my booty is going to feel it tomorrow! Wonderful. I will do this routine for a few weeks and then switch it up. Can't wait to try out your other videos! Thank you so much for putting these out. 💙
This video is life changing I was scared to try it because I thought I was going to fail but I did it! I finished the whole work out and I’m so proud of myself! I’m going to do this workout 6 days a week for 2 weeks to see what my results are! I will definitely make this video a stable I actually sweated doing this and I never sweat even doing cardio! Thanks!
I did this workout for the second time today after starting my fitness journey 2 weeks ago. I’m 41 and haven’t exercised since I was a teenager. The first time I did it I couldn’t finish it (20 mins in I was exhausted) and I felt nauseous afterwards. Today I did the whole 30 mins, with a bit heavier weights than the first time and I feel AMAZING. Gotta love how our bodies improve 🥹 Thank you Jo!!
This video said beginner friendly but just up the weights and this is a killer workout to lose weight. This is my new favourite workout video for the next couple months. Best full body workout I’ve found so far.
OH my dear lord! 😮💨 my first workout since having baby 2 years ago. 20min into the workout I started smiling 😅 it hurts! but I hope to keep it up... thanks for the positive energy coming from your smile ❤
What I loved most about this workout is the variety of exercises. We are working all areas of the body in a fun . Also getting some cardio on at the same time.
This my favorite of your workouts! Love full body dumbbell. Please make more! Thank you so much for all your content and fun atmosphere!!! You make working out so fun!
First time trying this one today. I was good up until the first 7 exercises. After that i paused it ans counted the remaining exercises left. I had to take a break after each one. KILLER!!!! I will stay consistent and do this again for the next 6 days!
Been doing your workouts for a month now, 5 days as week and I’m seeing results, I’ve lost my back fat and my body is toning up, being a chubby girl my whole life, I never thought my body could look like this, thanks jo!🥰🥰🥰
What workputs are you doing 5 days a week just her walking workouts i am stuck and my body is tired of hitt workouts i love them but just cant long term and im starting to gain wright back as i have kept changing up my workouts to see what will see fat loss and clothes fit and nothing has helped so far .
@@heatherstinson3348 i usually do her 2 mile workout video with dumbbells, I’ve noticed adding weights has helped me the most. This video is amazing too, not so much cardio and it focuses on strength! I do a 10 min warmup first from mr London’s channel. His workouts are great too! Ive noticed a big change when i started drinking enough water so stay hydrated and eat your greens! Hope it helps^^
First youtube workout that I actually enjoyed thoroughly and didn't struggle as much. I am a beginner so this was perfect for me. I love how she started off easy and then implemented the bells, it was challenging in a fun and enjoyable way. First youtube workout that I actually followed through till the end without giving up. MUCH MUCH LOVE FROM AUSTRALIA and I will definitely be using her channel for my home workouts ❤❤
This was one of the most difficult workouts of Jo that I've done so far. But I'm so proud of myself for sticking thru till the end even tho I felt like giving up in between.
When I started few months ago I was 186 pounds ,the beginning was hard but I am now feel so much better and lost a good amount of weight I stopped working out because was injured but I started to do it again this time I don’t need to loose a lot anymore I got maybe like 10 pounds overweight for now still wich I want to set this goal to finaly loose this 10 pound more ,I weight now like 140 pound but I want to have at least 130 on the end so I still will continue and I don’t want to stop because I am a fighter grow with Jo workout really works and Jo helped me a lot to feel good in my own body thank u so much jo I love u

Jo is a masterclass in user experience
I hate when they talk.
I enjoyed the first part, it was fine-- but I hate when I'm trying to get in the zone but their super peppy, high-pitched voice keeps telling me to push myself harder.
Like, it's so annoying.
I'm trying my hardest, and they make it sound like it's not enough.
Which makes me give up.
So not hearing that, was actually motivating me to keep going.
I love talking especially when it’s Jo
She’s brilliant
I’m medically obese right now and I’m in the process of losing weight and gaining some muscle. I got through about 20 minutes of this with some breaks in between 😁 I’ll be able to do the whole thing someday!
Update: Lost 11 pounds!!
Update 2: Lost 15 pounds and my advice is to stop eating when you’re satisfied or even slightly full and to go at your own pace and do the easy stuff now and ramp up the difficulty when you feel like you’re ready 😊 don’t give up!!!

Come back!!
Girl where did you go??
I can't wait to do this workout consistently and become an even better version of myself!!
good luck to all of you
Thanks!
Hello!! I’m with you. I’m 65🎉 and love her workouts. I started 2 weeks ago.. 🎉
literally the best workout i’ve ever tried. gets your heart beating and lets you break a good sweat, but also tones your body really well and targets every part of your body while not being too hard to do. thank you for this 🥰 i’ve been doing this everyday for a week now :)

How much weight did you lost?
THANK YOU for having the warm up and cool down included! It's so annoying to have to switch between three videos all the time
First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box.
Started this workout......Hope to stay consistent with it😙 Starting weight 61kg

Thank you!

Thanks a lot to this channel....I've been doing some of her workout this past 3months and from 149lbs I was able to lose 18lbs. ..I reached a weight now where I'm having a hard time to lose more so I decided to do workout with weights now to have a toned body ..I'll try my best to update here
I'm gonna start with my current weight,131lbs and have 4lbs weights each hahah...so we will see
1st day: Lol.😂😂 I had to stop halfway since I'm feeling dizzy and had to catch my breath probably from trying to follow her pace....it was too much for me
Day 2: hurrraaaay... I was able to finish it..I did slow pace from some of the part that was too much for me to follow...I'm sweating a lot
Day3: sweating a lot..but It wasn't so hard compared than yesterday..I still have to do slow pace at other part.
Day 4: hurrraaaay I'm proud of myself coz I was able to follow her pace finally...without feeling dizzy or anything....well I'm sweating a lot since I followed her pace hahaha
Day5: as usual...I'm sweating a lot again, hehe but I'm glad its not that hard.I'm gonna give it a rest for my muscle for day 6 and at day 7 ..just gonna do stretching and her other workout then gonna be back at weights again next week
Day 8: had to get rest coz I was busy the whole day at 7 and was really tired from walking a lot
Day 9: I started with my weights again...and was sweating a lot..I can follow her pace now, without worries...I noticed that my arms and legs were more toned now compared when I started...yaaaay I'm really satisfied
Day 10 and on and on: still sweating....just gotta be consistent hehehe...
I might update after a month but I will be consistent..I decided to take a break one day in between to let my muscle rest...I probably gonna do her other workout the next day.. I've lost 3lbs and my body were more toned as well...finally I can see my arms and legs got rid most of the fats hahaa😂😂
Update: It's been a month since I started this...I'm 126lbs now...my arms and legs were more toned..I feel healthy hahaha...the key to this journey is patience, discipline and consistency....Thanks to this channel for helping me reach my goal..It's really hard at first but I was able to do it anyway so I'm sure you guys can do it too☺️☺️..fighting🥰🥰

30lbs in 4 months?

Hey how it's going. I am doing this as well
Hi
Don’t you want to see what happens if you don’t give up? KEEP GOING
I loved :
- what muscles I should be working
- the 4 second ques just like your cardio videos
- muscle focus visual
- no talking
- Isolation of upper body during floor work and that once we were on the floor, we stayed on the floor.
I would like to see:
- Longer preview transitioning from rest to the next exercise.
Thank you so much for sharing your progress and journey with me love! Appreciate you! ♥️ I'm proud of you for starting on a happier you! You got this
@@growwithjo omg its you! Thank you so much😭
Found this a lot more doable than I thought.
Commitment made 💪🏼❤️
I’m proud of you. I too am overweight and your comment is encouraging me to try this. Thank you.
Thank you ⭐️
I teach a water fitness class. We have been using your workouts and modifying them to water. It has been AWESOME! Thank you!!
I so did this workout this morning and it was very doable. I used 5 lbs dumbbells instead of 8 lbs and found it challenging but not overwhelming. Thank you Jo for the workout. 💪😊
Same 😅
This is my first workout with weights.
Went from 105kg to 93 kg all thanks to consistency with your routines plus intermittent fasting.thanks Jo❤
It doesn’t get easier, you just get stronger!! Incorporating weights now, loving it. Thanks Jo for your effort & dedication… truly inspiring 💝💝💝
First two times I only made it to the ten minute mark (even though my dumbbells are really light...)
Second two times I made it to eleven minutes.
Thank u Jo!
This is one of my favorite workouts! I’ve probably done maybe 80-100 different GWJ vids but I keep coming back to this one! 💜
I use 2 lb weights, otherwise I couldn't hang either!
Don't you be embarrassed! You did great! 10 minutes is amazing. Keep going!!
Thank you ❤
Ok, I love the new editing with pictures because it shows the part each exercises work on in the body 💕💕💕
Same ❤️
Jo this is so cool when you have the warm up in the beginning and the cool down in the end. I have a playlist with your wotkouts with the warm up and cool down separate. Work outs like this help to keep things flowing smoothly when transitioning from the beginning of the work out to the end. No pausing 👍🏼❤
This
I was 160lbs like, two weeks ago. Thank you!
What's the weight of each dumbell?
@@shreya_xvi I follow the weight stated here
It's 11:30PM right now, and I'm fed up searching for a good gym in my area. This video looks promising and the comments are very positive. So, I am going to start this today.
Current weight: approx 65kg
Height: 5'3"
Waist:
Arm:
Thigh:
Day-1: ✅ (11:45PM- sweat a lot! A lot!!)
Day-2: ❌ (too much in pain)
Day-3: ✅ (8:00AM- less sweat, less pain)
Day-4: ❌ (decided to do them on alternate days) (or i was simply lazy 😢)
Day-5: ❌
26.09.24:- Woww!! I completely skipped it for 2 months. Life has been super busy and I gained lots of fat. I kinda hate myself for that. I'll restart from this Saturday.
First time a week ago I was only able to do 17 minutes + the cooldown, second time today got through the whole thing and was surprised when it ended
Me too 💪💪💪
I’ve never been so relieved and content to see an ad and take a break, I mean, watch the ads all the way through to help support the channel 😅
Thank you! Genesis, mom of 2, postpartum recovery.
Gotta love how our bodies improve 🥹
Thank you Jo!!
Right?! It's awesome
I almost made it to 20 minutes into the video. Proud of myself!! I am just now trying to get back into my GrowWithJo workouts. Prayers!! 😅🙌🏾♥️
What I like most about this workout is that any one can do it no matter your level of fitness. Thank you so much.
Last 3 months ago, I can only follow until 10 mins. i keep telling myself it’s impossible!
I am so happy today I can finish it! It was fun!
same!! now I'm in 20 min. Still can't finish but It's still progress.
This is where I'm at right now, 10 minutes by God's grace I can be able to go through the whole video, she's a blessing!!!🥰
Hi! Did this exercise helped you in loosing inches and weight. Pls reply
@@dessitaddka3750 i didn’t keep track of my weight but definitely dropped inches. I work at a gym now but these helped me getting started
This workout or any other. It would be great if you tell the details.
