Beautiful curls! I too love the Curl Keeper original! I need to try that CurlSmith mousse! I do the same thing you do when applying it. I never understood others who plop it all in one spot. That’d never work for me😂

Your curls are beautiful and I love your natural hair color! Two quick questions about the Curlsmith strong hold hairspray. If you would have used it in this tutorial, instead of the one you choose, would you have also used it on wet hair? How do you refresh on later days after having used the Curlsmith hairspray? I’m new to the curly hair journey and I’m struggling with the refresh days especially when I’ve used this hairspray. Thanks!
Hi! Yes I would use it on wet hair exactly how I used this hairspray. I do also sometimes use it on dry hair. I honestly don’t often refresh but if I did I would probably smooth over some curl cream or serum 😃

I don’t have a diffuser and always just air dry. Can you tell me the difference between diffusing versus air drying. New to curly girl. Still learning.😉
It’s really personal preference but I find diffusing makes my curls tighten up and gives me much better volume.
asking for a high-po 2c/3a friend- is it possible to ALWAYS need protein?
Yes it is. I need some protein almost every washday and I went through a long time of needing a significant amount every washday. I think it tends to be the case for fine hair
I used gel first and then I used hair mousse it worked great I was use mousse first and gel I my wavy and curly are back for all thinning shears my hairdresser was use 😅
Do you put a conditioner or gel in your spray bottle - it doesn’t look clear. Wondering because I did that and it made my hair greasy
No it’s just water but the bottle is frosted plastic 😃
What do I do if I really wanna try the Superdrug coconut water shampoo and conditioner? I don’t live in the UK but I really wanna try it, because we have the same hair. I looked at there website and love how cheap they are ❤ how do I buy them? Or can you recommend a dupe for that one? Pretty please 🙏
I can’t think of a way for you to get them sorry. I’m not sure of a dupe either. They do both have some protein in them and are lightweight if that helps

Have you tried Wella mousse? (Often on offer at Superdrug) The yellow one (I think it's called dream curls) is less intense and I currently enjoy it more, probaby because I am using a hard hold gel and green one a bit more, good if you need more hold, but can get crunchy. Budget friendly
No I haven’t tried that, I have tried the wella shockwaves volume mousse and that’s really good 😊
