Good morning! Since VLOGMAS starts on Friday, I wanted to release a video that wasn't holiday related. But get ready for VLOGMAS because I'm going all in this year!🎄

      1. On days you don’t use the purple shampoo what shampoo do you use?
      2. Do you use the conditioner you showed in this video on every wash day?
      3. Do you have a video for what you do on day 2, 3 etc..
      4. How often do you wash your normally?

That's interesting, I've never seen anyone applying cream over gel. I've been caring for my grey curls for 4 years and all I ever saw on YT curly influencers are all young and do not have grey curls, therefore there's no content on how to care for grey curls, then finally came across your channel. Thank you. I just subscribed to your channel.

I really admire women who can style their hair well and put on make-up well. I have absolutely no talent for either. When I try to style my hair, it usually looks worse than if I just let it do whatever it wants to do. So I usually just wash it and let it go--it's just frustrating to take the time to fiddle with my hair and do nothing but make it look even worse. I'm an every day hair washer (I used to be a marathon runner when I was younger and just had to wash my hair after a run because my scalp was all sweaty, so I just don't feel right now if I skip a day washing my hair, even though I no longer run due to my age--68). So I wash, use one of the microfiber towels you recommended (I love those!) and let it get as much moisture out as possible. Then I just go on my merry way and let my hair do as it pleases (after I look in the mirror, curse, and roll my eyes). I never blow my hair dry, as heat seems to really make my hair dry and brittle (even when I use a diffuser). My hair is so thick that it takes it several hours to dry naturally and I dare not put it in a pony tail when wet because it will still be wet at night when I take it out of the pony tail. I'd love to be able to do with my hair what you do with yours! Alas, God didn't see fit to make me good at "female things" (like hair and make-up). I've had two "careers" and, thankfully, my hair wasn't important. I was a statistician and psychomatrian for many years and numbers don't care what you look like. Later, I went back to school and started working with animals with behavioral issues (so much happier doing that) and animals don't care what you look like, either.

Just wanted to say how glad I was to read your post and see that I'm not the only one who struggles with these things. I'm just not good at styling my hair nor makeup either and I've made several attempts and have watched tutorials and I just suck at it....I work in a warehouse, so thank God it doesn't matter but it's nice to hear about someone else's struggle as well.

I do almost everything you do, and use most of the same products as well. Only I don't use hairspray. And I apply all of my product while still on the shower. I find it to be easier with long natural curly hair. I do like your curling iron method for the stubborn unruly strays. Gonna give it a try. You're absolutely precious darlin! I've thoroughly come to enjoy your channel!!

Loved this video cause I have natural curly hair that has a mind of its own. One side of my hair goes into ringlets while the other side goes into bunch of curls. Then I have some hairs that just want to be wavey, lol it's nice to see that your curls have a mind of their own. I use to get frustrated when some curls looked longer and shorter then others but with your videos I see that is what curls do so thank you for your great tips, advise and your time for helping curly girls like me.

If you ever want to re-thicken up those areas where you're thinning...I use Revela Hair Growth Serum. It's a little pricey but boy does it work! I've hit that age milestone where my hair is beginning to thin a little (I'm 56). Normally my hair is a bit thick with curly waves but the thinning is happening at my crown and temples so this stuff is really helping to get me back to normal. It helps me style my hair so much easier than constantly fighting those thinning areas. It even worked on my thinning brows!

I was up at 4:00 this morning making Judy’s vegetable soup, maybe that’s what you need!😊 Question…In your video you put the bacon in just before finishing cooking then eating shortly thereafter. I’m not going to be eating until later this afternoon, should I wait to add the bacon or ok to go ahead and add? Hope you have a good day and continue to feel better!

Hi Susie! Feeling better just left with a stuffy nose and ears. I'm up and moving this morning so that's a good sign. As for the soup, I would hold off on putting in the bacon and add when you warm it up later today. But honestly, either way is fine. I like my bacon to be crispy...and when it's in the soup for a while it gets softer. Just personal preference. Enjoy it!!
