The Lunar Auxilia models are great i went with the Solar Guard as a Alternative and thr Lunar Ogyrns look metal so got them but probably going to get the FW Charonite because they do look great
Agreed on the FW ogryns definately mate, theyre SUCH good models, just oosing menace
Cover is a little strange I hearcy 2 but I think it's to stop people from arguing about if it's 50% or 75% obscured. They made it simple to keep it civil and I kinda like it. If obscured at all you get 6+ its simple and works I think
Ye I do like that aspect definitely, I’d just sort of like cover to also be a super important aspect but maybe both can’t fully be achieved?!
@@BearfootMiniatures I know this is a bit of necromancy regarding the age of this comment, but for our group we have moved to 5+ instead of 6+ for cover and things that would increase your 6+ to a 5+ now increase the 5+ to a 4+ etc.
For us it works really well so far.

Cheers mate! I’ll give it a think over when I’ve got a few more games in with the base stuff tbh (im we’ll up for fan made stuff, actually wrote a skitarii book and additional units pack for 1.0, just a bit soon to know fully what needs changing for me)
@@BearfootMiniatures that's fantastic - would it be possible to share your skitarii rules too? I love seeing any and all fan content - it is really fun to see additional modes of play and intepretations of the setting (I do a lot for Necromunda - and I grew up on the Citadel Journal, Gang War, Necromunda Mag, Town Cryer, etc).

So here’s the folder for the events etc we ran: the units pack/skitarii are in the units pack (it’s weirdly showing being updated a year before it was last updated but it’s fairly “up to date” as of the end of 1.0)

Ye mate, I agree, there needs to be a rule to only give killpoints per tercio I think
Theres some things to do to tune them up I think (plasma companions and las rapier spam) but I don't think there's much outside those options to do sadly
