      Not everyone can be a master chef, he screams his nut off at people who are trying their best in 90% of his shows, he isn't a moron but he can be very unnecessarily mean and scream at people trying their best sometimes, but you don't get to be as successful as he is in that kind of business by being nice all the time

      The Fractured But Whole He has a reason for being extremely arrogant and just screaming at everyone. Especially at Hell’s Kitchen when all the competitors are professional chefs, of course he’s gonna get pissed when they’re not putting in as much effort because one of them will work for him.

      1: Hell's Kitchen is over exaggerated. He's harsh, but not that insane when actually in the kitchen.

    • @MrLolx2u
      @MrLolx2u 5 років тому +44

      That's because people see how he behave on TV and assumes that's him for life.
      We chefs are a bunch of hot heads and when you're in an oven temperature for almost 12hr a day and with all the air ducts and burners burning, we're very loud and obnoxious when shit goes on and that's how Gordon is. That's how he treats all the Hell's Kitchen contestants as he knows they're all experienced and these pressures should not knock them down. While on the other hand, he doesn't give too much pressure to those home cooks in Masterchef is because... As stated, they're home cooks and many had zero experience in a professional kitchen so when pressure arises, they're more panicky so dumping more chaos to them isn't helping or even testing them anything on their experience in handling pressure which they already had none when in their personal home kitchen.

    As a Vietnamese I'm astounded by how much you have picked up in just a week to put out a soiree like that which dazzled the foodies of Vietnam we're not easy to please (dispight what people might think especially regarding our own cuisine) and it looks quite eatable from where I'm looking I'm Vietamese and I have no idea under a week how you made what you did and judging by experts there they seem to be mostly impressed too with the taste mmm!
    You done yourself proud Gordon no where near kitchen nightmare like in your shows - in your shoes there is no way in hell even with commerical kitchen and all that help (god knows I have tried) I would be able to be putting out multiple dishes for host of people and group of people in that short a time even with my own dishes let alone mastering a new style of culture's cuisine I have learnt in under a week you are quite the maverick!
    Other chef that come put together one or two dishes tops and they look nothing I'd like to eat and really don't get where the Vietnamese influences in their dishes are but yours look like they can almost past for genuine Vietnamese dish.
    I guess it take decades of year honed to add to the new lessons learnt to do what you do and do it well we - Vietnamese salute you bravo Gordan Ramsay it won't be long before you earn your Vietnamese Iron Chef stripes undoubtably!!!

    It's crazy because I read that some people feel Ramsay is "appropriating" vietnamese culture by opening his new restaurant. This is obvious nonsense. A cultures cuisine is built from their local environment. The things that thrive in that area and taste good are crafted into food. This is the art of creation. And because it is an art that means it is for everyone. No creation of beauty should be enjoyed only by a few. All should enjoy it and practice that certain method of creation if it calls on them to do so. Art and the practice of it should never be off limits. Same with Gordon. If he wants to learn vietnamese cuisine then he should. No questions.
