Could not have been more surprised or more delighted that you started with Buttermere. I spent my summers there as a child and have dreamed of returning. The plan autumn of 2024, please God. I hope to spend at least a month or more there. Thank you so much. This was lovely.
Dear Mads, Watching your video's with the modest and authentic way you present them is so much fun. Great images very informative content....bringing up the wish to follow your footsteps. It won't take long until you reach the 50.000 followers..... Thanks, Ben
Amazingly ironic how those previously unwanted highlights in the clouds turned out to totally make the lonely tree photo. Spectacular, Mads. Simply spectacular!!
Mads Peter Iversen I know. It came out perfect. 👌 Just pointing and enjoying the irony of it. Luck comes to the ones who work hard. And you deserve it all my friend!!
Another great video in your Britain series. The Lake District is wonderful, but can be difficult due to the number of people, and the rain! Terrific shot of the lone tree. Keep 'em coming Mads!
Hi Mads, I don't know how I'd managed to miss this but I've only just found it. I live on the edge of the Lake District and it's the focus of my photography and videos. I felt a huge amount of pride as you described the beauty of the place that I have chosen to call home. I've watched your videos for a while and allowed you to introduce me to places all across Europe that I didn't know existed so it is strange to see you work in a landscape that I know so well. Next time you visit be sure to spend a bit more time here, least of all to allow those of us that enjoy your videos so much to buy you a pint. It is after all the least we can do.
Hehe thanks a lot Chris! I'll hold you up on that offer! I'm very happy to get the acknowledgement from the locals! I'll stay longer next time for sure! :)
Mads the pano of the stones WOW the light. All in all another cracking vlog. Mind you the best bit was you in front of the lone tree and the faces you were pulling! Made me laugh out loud.
What an amazing episode again... I really like the honesty about when things don't go according to the plan, I always get frustrated when the sky shows colours at the "wrong" side or time... and I used to think it only happens to me :P I'm not a naturally patient person but landscape photography helps me to stay positive and take the best of what conditions I get :) enjoy the Lofoten trip!
I think it's very important to realize ones "bad" sides and then learn how to better them and becoming a better person. If Landscape Photography gives you that on top of great photos and video it's just perfect! :) Thank you very much Nina :)
Another great video Mads, you are right , it probably would take a lifetime to shoot the Lake District, but what a lifetime that would be, There are so many places to go. Superb Pictures . :)
Love the 2nd shot - pandemic, what a cool mood. Love the lonely tree and how the sky lit it up from behind. Love the pier and the movement of the sky. Nice lighting on the last picture.
I haven't missed an episode so far because the beauty you put in your productions is unrivalled. Maybe more important is that it gives me the necessary push to start my photography again. So, thanks Mads and I'll hope we may enjoy a lot more productions!
Well done Mads, I have been visiting the Lake District for a little over 40 years and I am still finding new locations. Just spent a week in one of the self-catering lodges at the Bridge Inn in Buttermere. Great being so close for dawn shoots.
Jane and I once walked the Cumbria Way; 80 miles from Ulverston on the coast to Carlisle in the north. That was an amazing journey but not one I ever wish to repeat; we had two days of weather like you saw on the shore of Buttermere. Hurry back!
Lovely introduction to the Lakes Mads, despite your brief visit. You should spend much more time there, especially in the low season as it offers the moody weather you enjoy - by the bucket load!
Mads hi, not only do you produce great inspirational videos along with stunning photography, but you also provide detailed descriptions of how and where to find these interesting locations, I live in Qld Australia and am heading over to U.k and Iceland next year (2019) so your Vlogs have been a huge help, thank you.
This is a superb video (I've watched it twice in a couple of hours). I only recently discovered your channel but it's right up there at the top of my favourites already. There's something about your delivery I love. Looking forward to binging on all your others and what the future brings 😉
You are correct in saying you need to spend a lot more time in the Lake District. What you saw here is just the tip of the iceberg regarding what the area has to offer. My parents grew up hiking the Lake District every opportunity they had. A stunningly beautiful spot.
The Lake District is one of my favorite places in the world, although I haven't been there in more than 15 years. After watching your video I want to go back. You also have encouraged me to look at all weather, even cold, cruddy, rainy weather as something not to run and hide from, but an opportunity to be explored. As you have shown, sometimes lousy weather can yield the most amazing scenes and moods. It's worth persisting - even with a hole in the wellie.
Another incredible vlog Mads. The Lake District is quite spectacular and somewhere I intend to visit myself very soon. A snowy winter's day perhaps :) Keep up the great work pal, really enjoying your vlogs and images. Very inspiring to an amateur like myself!
Black hills Green grass at 05.35 wonderful. done a bit of catch tonight!!!! North Yorkshire Moors can be great with the right weather, a few years ago they were burnt dry, a sprig of rain the heather was a mass of purple, also around Ribblehead Viaduct can realy give great views
BRILLIANT, your passion in describing your location is what makes watching your work so interesting, I stumbled across your channel while searching for places to video along the west coast of Scotland as I plan to do the north cost 500 route early 2019 watching the way you work and set up your shots is a amazing, being more interested in film I am now inspired to try and a take more photographs when doing this route my dslr filters are already ordered. Was surprised to see you only have around 21k followers of your channel your work deserves more keep up the excellent work.
Great work again. I only live 90 minutes from the Lakes and I've been up there a few times over the last few years and still barely scratched the surface of it. Beautiful place
WOW!!!! What can I say. You go from strength to strength. These images were awesome and very inspiring. This is not far from where I was born and I haven't seen it in 53 years since I came to Australia. This video gave me goosebumps. Thank you for sharing.
Hey it's tuesday and that means another great episode to watch Mads journey through Britain!!! Even the weather is rewarding your work by sharing the moment with a rainbow. I have nothing to add. :-)
Very nice VLOG. The pix of the stone circle is brilliant. Have a nice time in Lofoten and if you can go hike next to Reine town, to the panoramic Reinebringen spot. I loved the view therr
What a generous and engaging presenter. I very much appreciate the honest and unpretentious approach, which is not always the case with well known landscape photographers. Please keep if up. Would you be able to add the key shooting information with the shots you show in the videos? Thank you.
I've been watching your videos for awhile now and I'm totally captivated every time. Your images are a quality that I aspire to someday. More than that, the way you tell the story of each location and your journey is what draws me in and holds my attention. Thank you for creating such amazing content. I always look forward to it and I'm excited to hear your composition tips next week!
I love the panorama you took, that has so much atmosphere, I am really enjoying the segment of the UK and it will give me great inspiration to travel to these places, I hope you will do a video you did after the USA trip which gives details about planning and costs and organization of this trip, that would be very interesting for me.
Mads Peter Iversen so envious that you get to go to Lofoten it’s meant to be special I wonder what you think of it in comparison to Iceland as it’s now also getting very popular with tourists
I'm very curious about it too! :) I bought the flight tickets which were rather expensive and still have to buy food etc, but we get roof over our heads in exchange for some advertising :)
As soon as I got my notification for this video I clicked on it. I was looking forward to this one. Glad you found the lone tree. Great shot as well! You had some really good conditions. Very variable, and interesting. Great for photography. Unlike the flat, grey conditions I had. If you ever go back the the book Photographing the LAke District by Stuart Holmes is a great guide. :-)
Thanks a lot for the tip on the book :) Yes it was really nice with the diverse weather! I always hope to get a good handful of photos with great variety :)

Your videos are becoming better and better ! Thank you a lot for the inspiration. You perfectly resuming my vision of photography : going out, enjoying nature and take some pictures ! Keep going Mads, thank you a lot !
I totally get why you would have preferred to compress your focal distance with your drone, but I also think having not done so you gave an excellent sense of the enormity of the stone circle's surroundings and it's (historical) remoteness. Nice.
Some great images Mads, I'm glad your enjoying what this little island of ours has to offer
So much, GB was absolutely stunnin'! :)
Could not have been more surprised or more delighted that you started with Buttermere. I spent my summers there as a child and have dreamed of returning. The plan autumn of 2024, please God. I hope to spend at least a month or more there. Thank you so much. This was lovely.
Oh you have done it again. Wonderful segment. The lone tree is stunning. Keep them up.
Thank you very much Tom! :)
Dear Mads, Watching your video's with the modest and authentic way you present them is so much fun. Great images very informative content....bringing up the wish to follow your footsteps.
It won't take long until you reach the 50.000 followers.....
Thanks,
Ben
Thank you so much Ben! Thank you for the continued support :)
Amazingly ironic how those previously unwanted highlights in the clouds turned out to totally make the lonely tree photo. Spectacular, Mads. Simply spectacular!!
This kind of highlight is fine because it's controllable, it's those even stronger highlights directly hit by the sun :)
Mads Peter Iversen I know. It came out perfect. 👌 Just pointing and enjoying the irony of it. Luck comes to the ones who work hard. And you deserve it all my friend!!
Once again you have made an extremely worthwhile video and I don't want to forget mentioning your photos which are all top notch. Two thumbs up!
Thank you so much William! :)
Another top notch video! Can't get enough of all this mood 👌🏻
Thank you so much Josh! More mood is on the way for sure ;)
Another great video in your Britain series. The Lake District is wonderful, but can be difficult due to the number of people, and the rain! Terrific shot of the lone tree. Keep 'em coming Mads!
Thank you so much Joe! People were only really a problem at the Stone Circle :)
Wonderful video again, Mads Peter! As always!
Thanks a lot! :)

Hey Mads!
I hike around the Lake District all the time! Such a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing and i hope you go back soon! :)
You're welcome and I'm a bit envious about that :)
Yet another banger video!!! And one of the best photos in my opinion also. That lone tree capture has something special. :)

Mads the pano of the stones WOW the light. All in all another cracking vlog. Mind you the best bit was you in front of the lone tree and the faces you were pulling! Made me laugh out loud.
Haha thank you Paul! A bit of realizing how weird that situation was ;)
Awesome yet again mate. Always looking forward to your next video.
Thank you Christopher :)

Thank you Steve - yes I can imagine! The drive from Torver to Buttermere was way longer than I expected! :)
Jane and I once walked the Cumbria Way; 80 miles from Ulverston on the coast to Carlisle in the north. That was an amazing journey but not one I ever wish to repeat; we had two days of weather like you saw on the shore of Buttermere. Hurry back!

Thanks a lot! Crossing fingers for Reinebringen, but it's not sure we'll make it... the weather doesn't really allow it :(
Makes you want to visit for sure.
That's so good to hear! :)
Wonderful images Mads. There are many images of The Lone Tree on the Internet. This composition is, without a doubt, my favorite. Well done !!!
Thank you so much Frank! That's a huge compliment :)
What a generous and engaging presenter. I very much appreciate the honest and unpretentious approach, which is not always the case with well known landscape photographers. Please keep if up. Would you be able to add the key shooting information with the shots you show in the videos? Thank you.

I love the panorama you took, that has so much atmosphere, I am really enjoying the segment of the UK and it will give me great inspiration to travel to these places, I hope you will do a video you did after the USA trip which gives details about planning and costs and organization of this trip, that would be very interesting for me.
Thank you very much Ingo, happy you enjoy it - that might be an idea for a video :)
Mads Peter Iversen so envious that you get to go to Lofoten it’s meant to be special I wonder what you think of it in comparison to Iceland as it’s now also getting very popular with tourists
I'm very curious about it too! :)
I bought the flight tickets which were rather expensive and still have to buy food etc, but we get roof over our heads in exchange for some advertising :)
Hi Mads great video, wonderful images. Thanks for sharing!
I am so glad I found your channel you do such beautiful work. Looking forward to watching all of your videos
Weather-sealed gear - check
Weather-sealed apparel - not so much.
Great work Mads!
Hehe true, I thought the apparel was the right stuf... but oh no :P
Thanks a lot for the tip on the book :)
Yes it was really nice with the diverse weather! I always hope to get a good handful of photos with great variety :)
Just ordered the book, thanks for the hint!
i guess it's quite randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
Stunning images, Mads. Especially liked the ones of the tarn towards the end of the video, such lovely autumn colours. A piece of advice, first stop for you, a pair of new wellies!!
Haha yes indeed! I need a new pair for sure!
We Mads I was again impressed by your clip but more by the photos.
Also, you are one of the few, if not the only one, to give some advice on how to acces the places you visit ... and that, if I may say, is very important to us. Thank you. 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm very happy you appreciate all the practical stuff... personally that's what I need from most other photoVloggoers ;)
Fantastic video Mads! Capturing great photos no matter what the weather, inspiring.

I totally get why you would have preferred to compress your focal distance with your drone, but I also think having not done so you gave an excellent sense of the enormity of the stone circle's surroundings and it's (historical) remoteness. Nice.
Thanks a lot, Michael. Yeah there're great arguments for both :)
