A Man, A Van & A Camera, Roadside Photography Lake District

- Welcome to my latest landscape photography UA-cam video, where I take you on an little adventure through the stunning Lake District In my van.
As I travel through the picturesque countryside In my VW campervan I stop at various locations and try to capture the beauty of the landscape with just my nikon 70-200 lens my Nikon D850 camera. I'll be without my tripod and filters for this landscape photography shoot, relying on my trusty unshakable hands :)
I'm very lazy in this video, not venturing too far from the van, I just wanted to venture out on the fly with no plans to see what i could come up with and still enjoy the process. Just love being outdoors with the little challenge that you can still get descent images by not going on long walks and hiking up mountains for hours on end, nothing wrong with that of course, those days will come this year but for now, just nice and relaxing easy landscape photography.
So come along for the ride and join me as I discover the beauty and magic of the Lake District through the eyes of a man, a van, and a camera.

It’s really relaxing to get away from tripods and filters once in a while.

I do really like the way you make your content ! It is an outstanding area , everytime I've been there I just couldn't handle the moment , litteraly I was stopping my car everywhere to get my camera out and shot this fantastic landscape wich was surrounding by me . Really miss Lakes and other parts of UK , you just bring me a smile on my face by me watching your journey ! Once again well done and keep on doing what you love , great work , I admitt it and who knows maybe see you on the road one day :) !

1:39 I think you should have shot crouched, as you did, and standing as tall as comfortable, left centre and right on the road, making one or three shots each time - three for panoramic final photos.
Decide later which are best, the others are part of your learning process. You could then have compared them too to see whether there's a variation in sharpness that could be attributed to camera movement.
Inclement. That describes the recent weather around the Fitzroy River catchment recently. Its area is somewhat larger than Scotland, and it's gone under metres of water.

Hi Stuart I have been a subscriber for a while now and only realised today that I hadn't seen any video's from you for a whole so checked and there were a few that I'd not seen or been notified of by You Tube 🤔 even though I have enabled notifications. So I've only just watched this video. It was nice to see you capture a few decent images just yards away from your van. I was looking forward to your Isle of Skye vlog as we're heading there in 3 weeks time. I can't wait. Shame you didn't make it 😓. Right I'd better carry on with the catch up ☺

I love the Isle of Skye, went 3 times in my campervan, sadly now sold after repeated theft attempts :( I hope you enjoyed it.

I really enjoy your trips into the lake district. My wife and I spent a day hiking there and stayed at an ancient inn at the end of the road at Wasdale Head. The landscapes were wonderful. Your second-last shot of that stream had me wishing I was there with a 15mm to get a real close-up of the foreground as well as the stream curving off into the scene.

Hi Stuart. Happy new year ! I found you just now by accident and I loved the vlog. Like you, I'm a man with a camper van, DSLR and a passion for photography so this video really rrsonated with me. Since I got viv-i-van fixed up its been a driving intention of mine to do the same as you and get out with the camera, take the van out and do some photography vlogs and possibly meet up with fellow van owners on bimbles. At the moment, Ive not even been out of Bolton in her. I'll be sure to follow you from now on. Bessy regs-Kenny
Lovely images and a nice change to go hand held. You have some great scenery up in the lakes, a long trek for me from the south coast so have never been. Such a shame you never made it to Scotland, maybe in the near future I would look forward to seeing that.
