I know that i repeat everytime same things but OMG... The music, the vlog, place, drone, photos everything is fu***ing dope, for someone that love landscape photography like me that's better than porns hahahahah, Never stop doing that pls! 😍😍😍😉😉
It has to be No 3 for me. This shows what Stonehenge is all about. The sky, the heavens, the heritage, the feel of the picture is ideal for this historic icon. You did stonehenge justice. Your portfolio shots are amazing I'm jealous. Thanks again Mads.
#3. The extended exposure capturing the motion in the clouds gives the photo a third dimension. I really enjoy the conversational approach to your videos. It is very encouraging. Like having a personal photography mentor.
There is so much eyecandy in this video that it is really hard to choose only one picture! But I love Blackchurch rock with the strong leading lines and the fantastic scale with the person, perfectly placed in the "window". So impressed!
Number 3 for me, the long exposure and the use of space around the stones does it for me.......I always watch your videos on my lunch break and all I want to do is clock out, go get my camera and head off somewhere to get some shots after I've watched one........
Your composite of Stonehenge and the Milky Way is just something else. It shows it how it must have looked to those who built it all those years ago, when they there sat under the stars. Timeless, ethereal and beautiful - thank you.
Photography is an art. If compositing is part of the process of making art, then compositing further exemplifies photography as an art. These are beautiful photos. # 6 with the Milky Way is my favourite.
All 1-6 are stunning but I choose #1 because your position and composition was so perfect, skilled, and probably very difficult to accomplish. However # 6 is absolutely spiritual and is glorious, conveying your own awe and joy and the majesty of Stonehenge. Thank you.
My favorite video to date! That Game of Thrones castle with the strong stone lines leading the eye through the atmospheric view...the stunning triangular peak at the shore that demands attention with the amazing stone landscape that surrounds it ,and putting as you always do the HUMAN element is the image ...truly unique and one I have never even heard of until this video...and lastly the Starry Night backdrop with Stonehenge as its subject...incrediblel artistic vision..you carry us away to places we want to see and visit and if for some reason we won’t make it there you guide our every move as we view your travels as if we are actually traveling the same path as you...with you...thank you for your camera knowledge...encouragement...enthusiasm and vision of your world.stay blessed.
Number 4 for me Mads, the lead in lines and the bold shape and interest in the rock formation set this one apart. A long exposure with the cloud trails lined up with the lines in the rocks would really set this off! Looking forward to episode 3, great to see your take on the UK.
Thank you for your thoughts, Dan. Yes it would - I could composite in a long exposure from another location, but I really like the subtle lines in the clouds :)
All great images (as always) but 3 is my favorite. Your style of slightly desaturating the colors works well with the ancient subject, as well as with the ominous sky. 4 is my next favorite, as the subject is so, so unique. The browns in the photo also have a certain richness that works well with the bluish sky.
I liked the composite shot. It captures the astronomy history of Stonehenge, and so did the one with the sun flare. Great work. I'm enjoying this series, even if I'm 6 months late to it.
My favourite is a stand out - no 3 - minimal editing and reality rugged natural light. I grew up only 35 minutes from Stonehenge and used to cycle past it on the old road, that is how I remember it.
Like number 3 because of the cloud movement pointing toward Stonehenge and also the cloud cover making some sort of a roof over Stonehenge; Great work, keep on going!
You make me very proud of the geography and some of the history of my nation and very pleased and proud to have you here. There are several photographers on UA-cam who should have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, you and Paul G Johnson are two names that spring to mind.
Hi Mark, you are absolutely right both should deserve far more subscribers compared the effort they put to their Vblogs than people who are just introducing the latest new mobile from which brand ever but have hundreds of thousands subscribers. ;-) Nothing against them but you cannot compare.....
Thank you Stephan :) My main theory is simply I don't get featured on any photography blogs because I haven't made any directly educational videos yet. The bloggers/journalists on those blogs can't decipher the learning/information I put into my videos unless I explicitly write it in the title of the video. It requires way too much effort from their side to come up with an original text to go along with my content, compared to just write a few words about some other photographers top 3 tips for landscape photography ;)
I love no 4 Blackchruch rock because it is the only location I have taken photos of myself. Having that personal connection certainly influenced my choice. After that no 3 Stonehenge is brilliant the lines from the clouds make the shot
Just started to binge watch this series.....What I like most is that you provide 'technical tips' on the locations and things like how lighting will change between summer and winter. I live in southern England so nice to see it through your eyes. :-)
2 is great, but I’d crop closer. Love the way the asymmetrical ridge slopes are continued in the church. My favorite is 6. I ‘m pretty certain the Milky Way is never vertical at Stonehenge, so that tells me this is not just a documentation of exactly what you saw. I think it is still a valid landscape if it represents something you imagined when you saw it. I see your image as a powerful representation of the myth that Stonehenge is where a line of power on the Earth connects to the cosmos. Putting all that in the exact middle is then a master stroke.
Number 4. No doubt about that for me Mads. It's got great perspective with that low PoV, great composition and exposure, and the cool sky colours go well with those warmer tones in the rocks. Damn, I need to do this myself, but it's such a pain in the bum to get there from Cheshire! I think 5 is spectacular too with the halo. Perfect position for the cloud movement in 3. When I shoot the MW I always do it 'in situ', but I still end up compositing the stars with a separate shot of the foreground. In 5 you are facing south west so this composition is representative of reality - it would happen at 8pm tonight on that very spot. But your chances of a clear sky there would be slim to say the least. Brilliant group of shots Mads :)
Try getting there from Denmark ;) MAke a small vacation out of it. There're some great B&B locations in the area! :) And thanks for the thoughts on the photos :)
5 is my favourite as what a great moment with the sun halo! Also it mirrors the energy and atmosphere of the henge and just seems very appropriate to its purpose and importance.
Another hard choice but number 3. I love the image for what it is, but it also inspires me to be a better photographer. It’s an amazing location sure, but it looked a grey, boring day with loads of people - not conducive to a good image. You shot show what you can get if you know what you’re doing and take proper time to prepare and keep looking before you shoot. The fact the clouds are all moving away from you really accentuates the subject and is just another really great example of thinking about all the different elements in the view and how to make them work together. Thanks for another great vid - shall get on to the others now!
My favorite is 3 because of the effect of the long exposure on the clouds. I love your production values and your use of amazing music! You are doing really well IMHO -
6! Definitely 6! Sometimes we just aren't able to produce the ideas we have in mind because the stars just don't align for us (literally). So no I don't see anything wrong with composites! I'm a big fan of your work Mads. Thanks for making covid lockdown much more enjoyable. Do consider coming down to Australia and New Zealand for your next landscape adventure! Hope you are doing well, cheers.
Very difficult to choose a 'best' picture because they are all wonderful. If I had to decide it would be number 4. Such a powerful composition enhanced with wonderful moody lighting.
Black church rock is so cool. ❤ I do like compositions but hands down my favourite is number 4. The rock is so cool and the leading lines take it over the top.
So happy you got to pay a visit to the glorious monument that is Stonehenge. I only live 20 minutes away and love visiting this ancient beauty under good and bad weather conditions. I really love picture 3 for the atmospheric and brooding sky, stunning! But I also really admire the night sky art image of number 6, mainly because I've never tried astrophotography but really love the way it looks ✨
Great video as always. My great great grandfather and some generations before were from Glastonbury, and my next trip to Europe will include London and the south of England, so this is especially meaningful. And . . . Number 3. The long exposure, the wide angle focal length and the movement in the clouds give a wonderfully moody feel to the photo.
I loved the halo shot (5) when you first showed it in the vlog, but in the gallery 3 has far more impact, the movement in the cloud adds a lot of impact and makes you think of the importance of Stonehenge in history. Well done, superb movie.
HI Mads. I said it last time, and ill say it again.... Great to see a fellow photographer who is serious about his Vlogs. Your style is very 'documentarial' in style which is aweoms. Professioanl production and a good mix of media. Love your moody post production of your images too mate!. Well done. Regards, Ewan
Nothing wrong with mixing photos up, it’s all about interpretation, and number 6 shows what was in your minds eye, love it, keep up the good work, I enjoyed stone henge, I went before, when you could walk amongst the stones, and I have spent a lot of time rock climbing in north wales, I look forward to seeing your photos there!
This one is very close to home for me too. Some of my family are buried in the graveyard at Brentor, and my grandmother was born and grew up not far away from there. Next time you're in this part of the world you need to come down to see us in Cornwall. There are some great compositions down here that we can recommend!
You're welcome Mads. Cornwall has some very spectacular seascapes on offer and some of the best ones are in the far west near Land's End if you're ever over this way!
4 for the great leading lines and other worldly subject I never knew existed until now. 5 for the natural effect you captured in perfect position that really added to the ancient feeling of that place.
I live in Southern England and I have visited some of these places many times. Your video reminds me how lucky I am. I prefer 4 - Black Church Rock. I have never seen this before but I love seascapes so it is definitely on my shoot list now! Finding a composition at Stonehenge is very hard but I like what you’ve done bar the composite - although it would be a great location to shoot the Milky Way given the right conditions.
Have you made black and white versions of your Stonehenge photos? I'm thinking that they'd be more powerful in monochrome. You may want to test a sepia tint also. * Two is fantastic! I love it. We don't get fog in the American Southwest desert. I particularly like how you photographed Stonehenge from a distance which puts it in context with the landscape. And, the astral sky versions really bring out what Stonehenge is about. Very good work.
Mads, brilliant again, great passion, a new location(4) for me, great stuff and adding to my list, personal favourite for me is 5, some lovely elements coming together, nice when that happens, looking forward to the next one..... tusind tak.....
1,3 et surtout la 6 sont superbes et mystiques à souhaits. Un tutoriel pour les changements de ciel avec la voie lactée me plairait bien. J'attends avec impatience l'Ecosse. Je regrette un peu les présentations avec les cartes en intro. Merci
UA-cam needs to add a love or OMG!! button, absolutely outstanding images and production on your videos. I visit southern Devon quite often but I will be visiting Brentor and Blackchurch rock next time I go down
Hi Mads, you have delivered another great video, well done. I particularly love your enthusiasm for Stonehenge, just like a kid in a candy store, LOL. I liked all of your images, however my favourite was image number 4, that being Blackchurch. I think that by adding the human element you have really emphasised the immense scale of the rock formation. In my opinion though, I think the image would look better in a square format. I think that in doing so it would add more weight to the main object, the vertical formation. At the moment it is competing with the more dominant foreground, so I think the a square would make the image a better balanced. Just my two cents worth of opinion mate. Love your Stonehenge /Milkyway composite, well done.
Thank you very much for your input Darren! I actually think you might be right about the 1:1 crop of Blackchurch Rock. It keeps the depth, scale and composition, but it's true foreground and subject doesn't compete :) And true, it was like a kid in a candy store ;)
Really enjoy the new format of your videos. Kathy and I are hoping to make it to the UK next autumn and are looking forward to your upcoming videos. Keep up the great work, we love it!
A perfect video again! It's really hard to judge, which of your great pictures is the best for me. I like them all...! The most perfect for me, is No.3. I really like the composition with the wide angle and due to the long exposure, the clouds are centering to the stone circle. This picture shows, what I'm feeling, if I think about Stonehenge! Great!
I know that i repeat everytime same things but OMG... The music, the vlog, place, drone, photos everything is fu***ing dope, for someone that love landscape photography like me that's better than porns hahahahah,
Never stop doing that pls! 😍😍😍😉😉
Haha thanks for that comment! Going to pin it ;)
The moodiness suits the Stonehenge exceptionally well!
Indeed it does :)
It has to be No 3 for me. This shows what Stonehenge is all about. The sky, the heavens, the heritage, the feel of the picture is ideal for this historic icon. You did stonehenge justice. Your portfolio shots are amazing I'm jealous. Thanks again Mads.
Thank you for your thoughts, Kevin :)
Number 3. The simplicity and the scale I love.
Thanks for your thoughts Philip :)
#3. The extended exposure capturing the motion in the clouds gives the photo a third dimension. I really enjoy the conversational approach to your videos. It is very encouraging. Like having a personal photography mentor.
Thank you for your thoughts, Aquario :)
There is so much eyecandy in this video that it is really hard to choose only one picture! But I love Blackchurch rock with the strong leading lines and the fantastic scale with the person, perfectly placed in the "window". So impressed!
Thank you for your thoughts Hans! Means a lot and happy you like that - seems like a lot of people do :)
Best UA-cam landscaper around. Like a travel guide and photo tutorial in one. No.6 is spectacular, comp or not.
Thank you so, so much! :)
Thank you for your thoughts :) Yes exactly!
#3 - you perfectly display the iconic stones with great effect and master the difficulty of showing it like it was a lonely place
Thank you for your thoughts :) Happy to hear that :)
Photography is an art. If compositing is part of the process of making art, then compositing further exemplifies photography as an art. These are beautiful photos. # 6 with the Milky Way is my favourite.
Thank you Glen! Happy to hear this from another person - it's exactly what I think :)
Number 6 is definitely my favourite, a totally appropriate composite, for me it shows an iconic man made object in perfect context.
All 1-6 are stunning but I choose #1 because your position and composition was so perfect, skilled, and probably very difficult to accomplish. However # 6 is absolutely spiritual and is glorious, conveying your own awe and joy and the majesty of Stonehenge. Thank you.
Thank you very much, that's a very nice compliment! I did have to work the location a bit to find it :)
I've come from the FStoppers post, your post is very very nice :) wish you the best and I agree on what you said in the FStoppers comment!
Thank you very much :)
I like 4 because of the intriguing shape of the rock formation and because it takes the eye to a single point.
Thank you for your thoughts, Malachi, yes I really like it too :)
My favorite is #2, I'm a sucker for mist and that church on the top of the hill is just eyecandy.
Thank you for your thoughts, Magnus :)
number 3 because of the impact of time the clouds give to me in such a timeless place...
Thank you for such kind words, Isabella! :)
Number 4 for me Mads, the lead in lines and the bold shape and interest in the rock formation set this one apart. A long exposure with the cloud trails lined up with the lines in the rocks would really set this off!
Looking forward to episode 3, great to see your take on the UK.

I liked the composite shot. It captures the astronomy history of Stonehenge, and so did the one with the sun flare. Great work. I'm enjoying this series, even if I'm 6 months late to it.
I'm very happy to hear that, Doug. They're made to be timeless, so hopefully that shouldn't be a problem ;)
Hi, I like picture number 6 a lot because of the awesome night sky compared to sunset and the amazing Stonehenge, dream shot!
Thank you for your thoughts, Kenneth :)
Great as always, Mads Peter. I like number 5 most - it shows in my opinion, what Stonehenge once has been.
Thanks a lot Anja, yeah I love that shot too :)
They are all great, but I really like the mysterious atmosphere of number 2.
Thank you for your thoughts, Keith :) It's really growing on me too :)

4. Such an unusual rock formation and of course the leading lines help quite a bit.
Thank you for your thoughts :)
very nice ladscape, and photo in 12:56,stonehenge with milkyway is great!
Thank you for your thoughts, Miroslav :)
Number one for me with the striking leading line and the mysterious church at he end but absolutely love the composite so keep up the top work
Thanks so much - very happy you liked that photo :)
Ur honesty and politeness is praise worthy
4! ... I just love the sense of scale
Thank you for your thoughts :)
2 is great, but I’d crop closer. Love the way the asymmetrical ridge slopes are continued in the church. My favorite is 6. 3 for me - I really like the empty sky and dramatic clouds
Thank you for your thoughts :)
2, 4 &1. Love the mood and simplicity of #2. The leading lines in #4 and the overall comp of 1
5 is my favourite as what a great moment with the sun halo! Also it mirrors the energy and atmosphere of the henge and just seems very appropriate to its purpose and importance.
Thank you for your thoughts, Val :)
Hi Mads. I think number 4 edges it for me with the halo around the sun looking stunning. Looking forward to seeing the next video.
Thank you for your thoughts, David :)
For me the fourground in nr 1 and 4 is very nice and my favourites. Exellent video again!😀👊
Another hard choice but number 3. I love the image for what it is, but it also inspires me to be a better photographer. It’s an amazing location sure, but it looked a grey, boring day with loads of people - not conducive to a good image. Thank you very, very much Laurence! I agree it's about knowing how to solve the problems in front of you :)
I try and come close to what you do but fail. Thanks to you I strive to be better everyday.
You will rise one day! ;)
My favorite is 3 because of the effect of the long exposure on the clouds. I love your production values and your use of amazing music! You are doing really well IMHO -
Lovely moody image no3. Yet again another great video.
Thanks a lot Nick :)
My favorite is number 5, I like the clouds and the sun over Stonehenge
Thank you for your thoughts :)
I really fell in love with these videos and they were a huge inspiration for me and I can really miss these kind of videos nowadays :)
4 for me is the image l like the most, black and white suits the location.
Thank you for your thoughts, Fred. I really love those muted red and blue colors :)
Thank you for your thoughts, Richard. I hope you'll have a fantastic journey :)
I loved the halo shot (5) when you first showed it in the vlog, but in the gallery 3 has far more impact, the movement in the cloud adds a lot of impact and makes you think of the importance of Stonehenge in history. Well done, superb movie.
Great pictures! The astro with Stonehendge is top-notch. 👍🏾
Thank you for your thoughts, Estifanos :)
3 is amazing.
Another great program. For me number 4 is the best. Shows the size with a person in the scene. Perfect leading line and rule of thirds. Not 6 though.
Thank you for your thoughts, Tom :)
Love this vidéo ! Nombre 6 -because i'm a Stonehenge fan and i love the milky way 😉 Well done and thanks for these amazing pictures
Thank you for your thoughts, Pause and ongoing support :)
Of the pics here - I like 4 the most. Having said that, I also like a couple from the last few pics (not listed) of the countryside.
Thank you for your thoughts, Sasidhar :)
Woo! a very different and truly unique video about photography, yet so inspiring!!!!! Great work - keep it up.
Thanks a lot Paul :)
HI Mads. I said it last time, and ill say it again.... Great to see a fellow photographer who is serious about his Vlogs. Your style is very 'documentarial' in style which is aweoms. Professioanl production and a good mix of media. Love your moody post production of your images too mate!. Well done.
Regards,
Ewan
Ewan Dunsmuir Images thank you so much! I'm very happy you enjoy the videos :)
2 for the atmosphere. Similar to where I grew up but we didn't have castles 😊 feels like home
4 hands down! Pure nature!
Nr 4 because it Touch me the most.
I always go on my feeling.
I love #4. I live that texture and lighting in this picture. Thanks Mads.
Stunning images Mads. I was particularly interested in the first two locations. Torn between four and six. Very emotive images!
Thank you for your thoughts, Andrew! I hope you got your interest covered? :)
Most unique for me - No.5 and congrats for this photo Mads...
Thank you for your thoughts, Rasica :)
Thank you Haydn! YEah exactly, mixing and matching photos just makes them even more unique and personal :)
6 - Awesome!!!
Absolutely stunning images, Max’s. Love them all. Especially love the composite with the Milky Way
The pictures of stone henge are AMAZING!!
Thank you for your thoughts :)
4. Stunning - favourite video yet!! So glad I came across your channel
Thank you very much David! I'm happy you enjoy the content :)
This one is very close to home for me too. Some of my family are buried in the graveyard at Brentor, and my grandmother was born and grew up not far away from there. Next time you're in this part of the world you need to come down to see us in Cornwall. There are some great compositions down here that we can recommend!
Thanks a lot Dom! I'll have an eye on that for sure :)
You're welcome Mads. Cornwall has some very spectacular seascapes on offer and some of the best ones are in the far west near Land's End if you're ever over this way!
Number 4 because of the leading Lines and the person in the picture who gives the good feel for dimension.
Number 3 is my favourite, the moodiness suits stonehenge perfectly
As always, superb production and amazing images.
Thank you very much, Darren! :)
You have given me new inspiration to photograph my home country. Thank you, you are an invaluable source of information and inspiration!
Aaron Jenkin I'm very happy to hear that! You're welcome :)
Again a great video Mads! All the pictures are great in there own regards, for me personally No 4 speaks the most.
Thank you for your thoughts, Daniel :)
Obviously they're all amazing but 3 and 4 were absolutely incredible!
Thank you very much Justin :)
4 for the great leading lines and other worldly subject I never knew existed until now. 5 for the natural effect you captured in perfect position that really added to the ancient feeling of that place.
No. 4 for me. It’s all about the shapes and lines.
Stunning Stonhenge photos Mads! So glad you enjoyed our wonderful country.
3 is my favourite. Spot on composition
Thank you for your thoughts Manuel :)
3 & 4 have my attention but ... 4 is absolutely my prefered one ... BTW again a very impressive video ... thank you 😊
Thanks a lot and thank you for your thoughts on the photos :)
Thank you for your thoughts, Ged :) Also happy I could show you a new place from your own country :)
No 3 and 6. Just brilliant.
Have you made black and white versions of your Stonehenge photos? I'm thinking that they'd be more powerful in monochrome. You may want to test a sepia tint also. * Two is fantastic! I love it. Haha you're welcome Jamie :) Thank you for your thoughts too :)
4 is superb Mads excellent work as always.
Thank you Lloyd :)
Fantastic vlog Mads - it's a toss up between #3 and #4 for me...both stunning.
Thank you for your thoughts, Steph :)
Another great video Mads and more locations for me to visit at some point. My favourite image is number 3, I love the drama of the clouds.
Thank you for your thoughts, Peter! :)
OMG! Incredible shots of Stonehenge ❤️🙏
1,3 et surtout la 6 sont superbes et mystiques à souhaits. Un tutoriel pour les changements de ciel avec la voie lactée me plairait bien. J'attends avec impatience l'Ecosse. Je regrette un peu les présentations avec les cartes en intro. Merci

UA-cam needs to add a love or OMG!! button, absolutely outstanding images and production on your videos. I visit southern Devon quite often but I will be visiting Brentor and Blackchurch rock next time I go down
Number 6 is absolutely stunning Mads.
Number 4 grabs my attention. Unique location, love the drone footage from this location too! I'm not good walking out on slippery rocks! Big chicken!
It keeps the depth, scale and composition, but it's true foreground and subject doesn't compete :)
And true, it was like a kid in a candy store ;)
Love the video.
I like picture five and six the Best.
Thank you Michael :)
Really enjoy the new format of your videos.
Kathy and I are hoping to make it to the UK next autumn and are looking forward to your upcoming videos. Keep up the great work, we love it!
I'm happy yo hear you like it and I hope you'll have a splendid trip :)
Great!
Thanks for the thoughts and compliments :)
