@@QuesterMage Yeah, really much, the only problem i have is that the chitin flight pack kinda looks a little disappointing, but that’s probably because I really love the aesthetic of Organic/Fleshy science fiction armour.

Thanks for covering the Nintendo side of things! One other thing I am sure we would all love to see is multiplayer enabled for Nintendo players too! It sucks NMS have excluded Nintendo from the cross play option.

100% Agree about the multiplayer. Hopefully, this will be enabled soon or maybe it's a "wait until the Switch successor" type of update 😮💨😂

I have moved over to darkside and bought a Steam Deck 😂 but still love watching your channel as its really helpful. I dont think the versions are much different in terms of graphics, main positives are the performance so far.
Not sure if even the Deck will have all the graphical updates, well they may be there but would probably kill the framerate if you turned them all on 😂

Hello, I just bought the game like 2 weeks ago, the game pack thing said it has 6 years of updates included, I assume every big update takes like 3 years right? Also if i understood correctly the update is late for switch? And if so do you happen to estimate when?

If you are referring to the update frequency, the game is usually updated 2-4 times a year. The summer update frequently being the biggest of these.
The newest update should be available on Swith this week as a guess 🤔
I wouldn't say it is late, as usually the Switch update is out two days or upto a week after the Steam version.

I just started playing it on my switch
Would I have to start over if I update?
Usually the expeditions are what makes a player create a new save file and start over. Once you finish the expedition you can return to your main save file and continue from where you were 😄
If you are new to NMS please note (as of yet) you cannot play older expeditions (timed in-game events).
These are only playable during a refresh expedition (which are usually at the end of the year). This does seem to be changing though and I wouldn't be surprised to see the ability for the player to choose to replay expeditions in the future 😃

Unfortunately No Man's Sky on Switch does not include multiplayer 😓
Hopefully, Hello Games will update the game in the near future with a multiplayer mode but, nothing has been announced... 😔
I think it would be interesting to at least have local multiplayer with several Switch's connected together 😄

The freighter/frigate crashes have unfortunately been around for a while (video on the channel about crashes that need fixing) and really should have been fixed by now.
I still haven't got a freighter because of many people having issues with crashes 😓

I don't know if they Still can't make it where the grass moves when you walk through it. I have a feeling that a lot is going to be cut out.
Hello Games have surprised me many times in a positive way, with the Switch updates we had so far 😆
Hopefully, we get all of the features but I also have a feeling that some, might not be added to the Switch version due to potential issues with the framerate 😓
I would say that currently I am optimistically waiting for the update ( For me, Hello Games deserves that trust as a developer ), but also expecting what you have mentioned here due to Nintendo Switch's hardware limitations 😒

Compared to xbox one, I think the Switch loads games faster. For example; I start Minecraft on my Xbox One S. It takes 5 min to fully load until the menu. I start the same game on my Switch, it only takes a few seconds. Same thing with NMS. The loading screen takes longer on Xbox.
That's really interesting 😄 I wonder if the versions on Switch having lower graphical fidelity is why... 🤔
You would still think that the Xbox One would load those games faster. Specially NMS as it loads on Switch for a bit at the beginning 😒

I have just checked for you and the update does say it is on Mac too 👍😃
If you goto the No Man's Sky website and select latest patch notes it shows all the platforms this update ia available for. However, like the Switch it might not be available yet... 😓
As I don't have a Mac I cannot check for you, sorry. Hopefully, it is out now but if not it should be soon 🏆😆

Does any other switch player have the game freeze when leaving the starship before waiting like 5 to 10 seconds on a space station?
I do 😓 Usually on a space station. I have to say that it seemed to happen more frequently before they updated to the new space stations 🤔
To fix this issue I usually press the "home" button and then re-enter the game. That usually fixes it 🏆😄

My base takes an age load though, no amount of pressing home and reopening the game helps reduce the pop-in time. And my base is barely a glorified shoebox....
Not that I'm complaining though - it's a miracle it works at all on switch.

But, I like to think that we are always one update away from getting that feature though 🤣

I remember my first base on my Let's Play for the channel. A tiny, one room house 🤣
You probably know this already but, in the settings you can change the difficulty to creative mode and you can build without needing resources 😄.
Always remember to set the difficulty back to normal, as there are times in the game that creative mode will not allow you to progress missions/expeditions 👍😆

We the Nintendo Switch NMS community are used to waiting several days, but I thought that Xbox was day and date with PS5, Steam and Mac. Very confusing... 😔
Maybe the update for Xbox had issues and Hello Games are working to fix them and not just making the update available and it is broken 😄

@@QuesterMage from what it sounds like, Microsoft has to go through and verify the update before they release it, which takes longer than the PS5 verification I guess. But also Xbox servers have been having issues for the past few days and that definitely won't help with the release. Definitely a huge buzz kill when you see people playing it and you have to wait days afterwards, so we feel your pain. I hope it gets released for both of us very soon
