Hi, Joe. Thank you so much for providing me with this video. a year ago, I bought this 2020 Ford Explorer 6th Generation Limited Agate Black vehicle after watching your youtube video. I received vehicle on Christmas day from Ford Korea. It's been a wonderful time what I spent with him for a year. As an anniversary day, I want to say thank you. It's great SUV. Thank you. Joe!
Previously owned a 2004 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer and just purchased the 2020 Ford Explorer Limited in magnetic grey and I’m in love with the sunroof❤️ The B&O sound system is awesome. It feels lower and more compact than my older Explorer that had a step rail and had a box shape. The drive is smooth and the engine is so quiet sometimes I don’t know if it’s on🙈
Hardest working man on youtube right here, dedication and a true love for your craft sir👍👍👍

Thank you for educating me as I research my car purchase! Very informative content!
Hey Joe! Keep up the good work. Love your informative videos!
Thanks Clement for saying that! I am grateful for your supprot!
You are very interactive and sensible automobile reviewer and comments. And entertainer with details. Good crisp quality camera angles of the automobiles.
I really appreciate you saying that!
Thanks for this video. We just purchased one 2 days ago. Love it, so far.
Still enjoying it or do you regret the purchase? I’m thinking of getting an XLT tomorrow.
Lmao u just tossed that rag on homeboy😂
You have to do what you have to do! LOL
Joe, you're hilarious, man! I just can't watch your videos with a straight face. Fun time! Thanks!
👌🏻 100,000 subs! Congratulations 🎈🎊🍾🎉
I guessed you would reach that by July 4th. I said get the fireworks ready back then. You’re the best! Keep it up!👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I totally remember Larry! You are so very righht!
I was looking at a platinum yesterday. The other nice thing is that back hiding spot you mentioned can be turned over. One side is carpeted the other side is hard plastic. So if you need to throw a bag of mulch back there you won't booger up the carpeting.
Wooo hooooo!!! 100,000k subs!! You earned it Joe!!!
Thanks for saying that and being on this journey with me!
nice review and congrats on reaching 100K subscribers
Congrats on 100K bro!
Thanks Angelo!
Nice looking Explorer! They make the limited pretty luxurious! Great video and review as always brother. And remember, if you zonk it they will come! I obviously stole that from Field of Dreams but with a Raiti's Rides twist! Lol Still a cool slogan though. Great stuff Joe! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Awesome review ! I love new FORD EXPLORER !
100k subs. Congrats Joe
I really appreciate that Anderson!
This will be my dream SUV! Nice job Joe.
Great review Joe!
I appreciate you saying that Jermaine!
JOE: where is the rest room?
FORD: oh is between the front seats inside the armrest
Raiti's Rides - Purchased a 2020 Explorer Limited and yes navigation does appear on the front screen. Maybe they heard your review and completed an update. During an upcoming turn, both screens will show it on the displays. The front screen also shows it in the upper left corner miles to go for your next turn. Only works when using Ford’s Navigation not while using navigation on Apple Car Play. Great review, it help me make up my mind.
Thanks for that great ownership input and update! Congrats on your new Explorer.
CONGRATS ON 100K!
I really appreciate it!
"I'm feeling kinda racy" LOL you always feel like that brother!

YOU DID IT!!! Next stop....World Domination. Congratulations Mr. Joseph Raiti. This could not of happened to a nicer guy. UA-cam is lucky to have a quality person like you delivering high quality content on a daily basis. Keep up the fantastic job you have been doing. This is just the beginning for a superstar like you.
Philip you are the freaking man! Thank you for your dedication, inspiration and helping to keep me motivated!
@Raiti's Rides; Actually YOU are the man. 100,000 That’s some rarified air my friend. I know you will be making a video about this milestone and make sure to show off your UA-cam award as well!
I seriously believe that One Million Subs is in your future.
Compare and contrast 0-50K Subs...
50-100K Subs. Man that first 50K was a bit of a grind would you not agree? But you’re Focus never wavered. OK the RS left the garage but the real big picture Focus was laser sharp and the goal was going to be achieved no matter what.
Cool .. thank you for the whole information... very good vehicle..
Very indept & highly informative. AWESOME!!! Love my Ford EXPLORERS!!!
Thank you for saying that Anthony!
very nice efforts and video... only curious that you 'Mode Selector' are push buttons?? shouldn't it be a little knob to select the drive modes? or is it different from the 2020 and above explorers having knob selector? is there some customization going on here??
If you get the bigger screen, will it give you more ability’s? Great video by the way!!!
awesome review
now i love to see you give your oppinion on the new GLC mercedes 2020 please
thanks heap
love from New ZEALAND
I will get that together for you!
CONGRATULATIONS ON 100K

Since I don’t need a three row SUV, I’d say I’d have to check out the others before answering the question. There are some “zonks” you mentioned that I don’t like.I like the Edge ST for me. Good job Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
The Edge ST would be the better choice for you!
Hello,
Can you do the same explorer limited but in the hybrid version, are there any differences? I also noticed the door sill plates are not illuminated, kinda weird for the price tho.
Performance wise , mileage wise ,seating comfort and over all which is the best to buy ford explorer 2300cc limited 2020 model or Toyota highlander 2500cc hybrid version.
Congratulations on your 100K strong.
Thank you so much for saying that and thank you for your awesome support! I really appreciate your generosity last night in the live Q&A!
Congrats on 100k
Thanks Don!
What features does this include the same as thev2017 that's what I have the heated steering wheel blind spot monitoring lane control automatic high beams panoramic sun roof massage seats park assist I have all these features are all these still there plus the ones you showed thankyou considering trading up
Finally 11:45 Ford changed the gauges. That old style with the 2 screens on the side and speedometer in the middle was getting long in the tooth. I like this style!
I totally agree with you!
Unfortunately it’s still in the edge and the brand new ranger. I can’t imagine it’ll stick around too much longer though now that the mustang and the explorer are getting all LCD instrument panel. It’d be nice to see Ford make it optional on all vehicles.
@@ianinohio Agreed!
Joe, Ford finally listened to you and remove that EXPLORER badge from the front of the hood. That's the power of the ZONK at work right there lol. thanks Joe.
I totally agree with you! Thank you for your generosity last night during the LIVE Q&A!
@@RaitisRides you guys are most welcome. You guys produce quality🔥🔥🔥 content and i love quality ♥️✌🏾 so I put my love into action when I can 😉
Awesome! I finally got the 4wd model.
That is fantastic! Congrats!
Great review! I'm still VERY hesitant to buy another Ford. I have a 14 Explorer and just like hundreds of thousands of others, I'm the victim of Fords inability to prep aluminum hoods. Paint delamination thanks to galvanic corrosion. If I go and drive a 2020, I'll he grilling my dealer about this to see what Ford will do if this happens again
But how many twinkies can fit it the door storage area?
Thank you for the review bro!! Just picked up a Killer deal on a 2020 limited with only 1750 miles.... $35k!!

Great review Joe I love the 2020 Ford Explorer Limited. And yes I would like see a comparison between the 2019 and 2020. Would love to see a 2019 Ford Taurus SHO before Ford gets them out of the door. Thanks Joe.
I will get that together for you Jay!
@@RaitisRides K Thanks Joe. I really like the 2019 Ford Taurus SHO because it looks good and puts out a lot of power for it's kind.
Jay Patel look up any review of the SHO from the last maybe 5 years. It hasn’t changed.
@@ianinohio I know it hasn't changed much but I like the design of the Ford Taurus SHO 2019. Thanks though for the reminder.
Love this new Explorer!
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Way to go Ford! RWD punch👌🏽💯👍🏽
I totally agree with you!
People need to start doing car seat tests for three row SUVs I looked at Explorer and with a front facing car seat in second row captains chair I could not fold/slide it up far enough to get in third row 🙅🏼♂️
Great review Joe, that all black is a no go for me....too hot in the summer.
Thanks Robert! I can totally understand that!
Joe its also to keep the back pipes clean. on the exhaust
Now I am going to have to DOUBLE my Zonk on that. I rather deal with soot.
04:35, you actually nailed it on the head there. Turbo engines create some carbon soot. And that can make a nice polished exhaust look nasty fairly quickly. That's why so many don't even do exposed exhausts anymore. Ford just did a little trickery, but it's nothing new. The small exhaust situation in some vehicles that have been modified, has nothing to do with that you were discussing.
I rather have the soot! LOL
@@RaitisRides, ha ha... I hear you. I'm a little old school myself. Driving a 2000 Explorer now as my daily driver. 😁
I can see it's going to be a hot seller! NICE!!!
I think you are right!
The Limited will likely be a good seller. I'm surprised it handled well with the tire pressure at 46-47 PSI. I'm thinking the placard probably says 35 PSI.
Alot of car lots will put extra pressure in them because the tires will leak off some air if they sit for a while. This helps to not have a lot full of cars with the flat tires.
18:18 throws towel on passenger 😂😂😂
Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you!
They messed up by not having the navigation on the front screen. Also they need the camera for the rear view mirror.
I totally agree with you! Very good points!
Ha Joe Great Review Again. Ok O Haven't heard One Thing Bad About The ECO Bust YET So I Guess it Will Do. This Is not a bad Ride . Still Would Have The Expedition. Just Want That Extra Room . Welcome Back Tom Great Camera Work .💪💪👊👊🏁🏁🐬🐬🐬🐬
Thanks Armando! It is great to have Tom back!
The Bankers Third(or Fourth)Hot Rod-Can you imagine Mr. Drysdale driving this?
I wish FORD would have put more thought in the EXPEDITION exhaust PORTS like did the EXPLORER. I noticed the EXPLORER must be pretty tall since the roof line matches your BROW since you mentioned you're 6 feet tall.
The exhaust exits before the tips to keep the tips clean
That is really stupid
Cheesy material. Thanks for the video
Beautiful truck I had 96 n a 03 xlt 😎🌴🏖🏝

Hi! Today, I finally signed a paper to purchase 2020 explorer limited. So now, it's time to wait for the next month! :-)
Any regrets so far with it?
@@housemusic1075 nope! It's the best car🙂
I own a 1997 Explorer I bought for 900 bucks. I've re invested about 2k into it and it's still running solid at 250,00 miles. For a 23 year old TRUCK (it's not a unibody) I think that's a pretty good INVESTMENT.
Exhaust sound such as air blower !!😁
That is the weirdest location of a start button I’ve ever seen. Overall nice ride and great review as always. Take care guys!

100k subs ,,ya baby!!
Thanks for saying that!
Since 2004 I have had 7 Explorers. I think it's a great vehicle for $30,000 to $40,000. At $50,000+ it's just ludicrous. I'll probably not lease another. I have the 2.3L ecoboost and it gets 26 Mpg on the highway.
How's Ford? I've been driving Japanese cars since i got my driver's license, about 20 years ago. Every time i rent a car, i always ended up with a Japanese car. I am getting a new car next year and i am considering an American brand and Ford looks more reliable than other American brands.
Joe I’ve heard some say that the 2.3 with the 10 speed can be very jerky at times. Almost as if it can decide what gear to be in. Have you experienced this at all while driving the explorers?
is this better then the 2021 kia sorento?
Mam, when we gonna get there?
If you had to chose between this model or the Toyota 4Runner TRD pro which one would you choose?
4Runner
Ford is stepping up their game, already zonking the iPad screen but other than that excellent Ford!
You are so very right!
Compares to '20 Kia Telluride Prestige?
JOE HOW U DOING? I HAVE A QUESTION, WHEN U GOING TO SHOW THE 2020 CORVETTE? LET US KNOW. THANK U HAVE A GOOD NIGHT.
HI William! I just don't have access to the Corvette anytime soon. As soon as I do I will be all over it!
Please make sure it has engine at the front of the car
Totally agree with you on the prop rod. Shame on Ford for incorporating that outdated hood support rod. For the
paltry outlay one would pay for a pair of more convenient gas struts over an, *"in your face, in your way" steel rod* , I'm sure anyone considering outlaying $50,000 plus is never going to complain...
the only thing looks confusing to me is that controls for high beam etc. so if I want to use it I NEED TO REACH IT AND ROTATE IT TO HIGH BEAM? WITHOUT LOOKING AT IT??? it might be dangerous to look at it when rotating it to high beam. 2020 ford explorer interior design is now fantastic but I'll have zonk that rotator dial for the light controls.
That is a very good point!
Can you get 4x4 in it optional
Palisade/Telluride is right there in quality with a better warranty.
BUT, Hyundai went cheap on Hyundai Palisade AWD and that's a DEAL BREAKER to me.
Kia Telluride SX and Hyundai Palisade have the worst AWD system using a Cheap Cheat Fake Brake AWD system that uses the Brakes to send torque side to side. Hyundai didn't use very capable Dynamax or its really good Genisis HTRAC so the Telluride will NOT be my next ride. I need to know more of Explorer's AWD Facts like what type of differentials it uses and does it have a mode that proactively preloads the front ALL the time if it does then the Explorer will be my next ride.
IBU OR UBME i’d take the telluride over this explorer any day
@@Sc0rpy I like the Telluride but it's not going to be my next ride because of its Cheap Cheat Fake Brake AWD system that uses the Brakes to send torque side to side. I'm not buying any vehicle that ALL my past rides for more than 25 years had MUCH better AWD systems. If Hyundai had used its HTRAC or outsourced Dynamax as they used to the Telluride would be my next ride BUT Hyundai took the CHEAP way to market AWD. Palisade/Telluride + Cheap Cheat Fake Brake AWD = NO DEAL
@Daniel Hernandez The Palisade looks a lot like the new Cadillac SUV.
@Daniel Hernandez If I had to pick the top 10 reasons to pick one vehicle over another LOOKS are LAST and because its the least important.
LOL, Kia's slogan, "The power to surprise." sure did surprise me when they have been using Dynamax AWD systems or their own in house developed for Genisis HTRAC but instead went with the cheapest lowest-tech AWD using the brakes to send torque side to side. Hyundai saved money on its lame AWD to smear fancy lipstick on AWD Miss Piggy, but I'm not buying.
I owned 2 Hyundai SUV both had the very capable Dynamax system ( UA-cam Dynamax and learn) I was close to making the Telluride my next ride until I did my AWD D&D and it INSTANTLY became a NO DEAL. I don't care how good it looks I refuse to buy a vehicle with an AWD system that every vehicle I bought in the last 25 years has an AWD that beats what Hyundai slapped on the Telluride like a pinata. Maybe the 2020 Explorer will be my first Ford.
Did this Limited have 4 wheel drive? Thanks for doing this buddy. Btw, I got the Bon Jovi lol. Great album.🤘🏼congrats on 100k🥳🇺🇸
No this was RED! I am glad I could share some laughs with you! Thanks for the congrats!
Raiti's Rides
You’re the best. Take care and thanks for all the excellent info.
Hi!!! Nice to meet you! I'm Myeong Kim from South Korea. I recently bought 2020 FORD EXPLORER Limited Agate Black color after watching your video. Thank you so much!! Wish me luck plz. :)
Hi Myeong! Congrats on your new Explorer! I am sure you are going to love it! I hope you get many smiles per miles! Good luck!
My BIGGEST question is what type of differentials the AWD Explorer uses, any information would be much appreciated.
The ST is on my very short list of what SUV to buy next, just need more AWD System Ford Explorer Facts first.
BTW: Ford routed the exhaust down to prevent soot buildup on the pretty chrome exhaust outlets.
I will get that info for you! I'd take the soot because that is just a big ZONK for me.
@@RaitisRides Thanks Raiti I'm an AWD enthusiast so I need to know the AWD Facts before dropping BIG Bucks and congrats on hitting 100,000 SUBS.
So it can disconnect the front drive train when you’re on the highway for better fuel efficiency, hence why they call it 4WD not AWD. It cannot, however, lock the transfer case for a 50 50 clutch split while off-road, but the torque pack in the transfer case can mimic this effect.
Given this vehicles low ground clearance and independent suspension, I wouldn’t want to take it anywhere where locking diffs would be required anyway.
Officers who were using the explorer were getting very ill because of the exhaust being sucked into the interior of the explorer. Probably something ford never tested (or maybe they did and they were woefully negligent) but I don’t see why he would zonk it for coming out of the bottom of the pipe. Seems like it wouldn’t be a big deal especially since you’ll never be able to tell the difference.
@@ianinohio NOW we know the REAL REASON the 2020 Ford Explorer exhaust points downward. I thought that when Ford told Car&Driver it was pointed down because of soot was kinda lame.
Can someone please tell me how i can get my digital speedometer right in the centre like it is on this video @20:50 . Mine just sits to the right side and is empty in the middle. Cannot figure it out.
This car is amazing.
instead of the explorer the wife bought the ultimate palisade ..full of tech and safety and a v6 ..great review Raiti
F-150 KING OF TRUCKS they should have done more on the explorer the competition is fierce so many choices this is not top of my list unfortunately as I’ve been a big ford fan in the past but I’m learning towards palisade/telluride
they did a great job but the price is to high ..the wife just bought a new ultimate palisade and i love it
A prop rod on a 2020 explorer LIMITED, big time zonking for sure!!
I totally agree with your Bennie!
I have a 2018 Ford explorer platinum and I love that truck unfortunately I didn’t love the payment so I got rid of it. The $500 a month lease just wasn’t my thing to pay that much every month and never own it.
I can totally understand that!
How did you get rid of a lease early?
Please do the Platinum in black
I will get that together for you!
What’s your experience with feature, elegance, ride quality Between Palisade ultimate and Explorer limited what will be your take
I think Palisade by far or even KIA Telluride, much more technology and reliability and even cheaper.
Thanks 🙏even the crash ratings are far better. I love Fords but something always tells me no.
great review..explorer should have usb on 3rd row.
You are so very right!
13:35 yep that’s gonna be an issue
In the near future i will get one.. 🙏🙏🙏
This Here 2020 Ford Explorer Limited can go from 0-60 and it looks great
The 2020 Explorer looks nice but the new Kia Telluride looks amazing. I'm pretty sure that's their main competitor. But for 50k. I'm leaning towards Kia especially with that warranty
That Telluride is something special
Yea but the the rwd an power of the explorer will always win me over.. JMO
@@velboone6041 I have to agree they went back to rear-wheel-drive this year and that kind of changes things a lot. Ford and Lincoln seem to have their head in the right place these days are competing with the Germans more directly now. GM on the other hand is another story.
No comparo rwd always the best
@@jayczyzyk9707 Ford actually respecting the buying public on that decision to bring it back. GM on the other hand, Thinks that people won't notice on the XT6 with its anemic 3.6 transversely mounted FWD . But people do as GM is about to find out lol.
I like the gas mileage on this one. Did I hear you correctly ? 21 mpg around town? If so, that’s great? Ford will sell a lot of these. Hopefully , it’s reliable.
Yes sir Charles.
I’d go with the 400 HP eco boost
Same here Anthony!
Just be sure you have a fat checkbook. Moderately optioning the ST or selecting the Platinum trim will push the MSRP to nearly $60,000. The sales will be minuscule.
Stephen Hendricks lots of middle/upper middle class families out there. I’m sure they’ll sell quite a few of the ST and platinums
@@ianinohio I have no doubt Ford will sell lots of Explorers. In fact if Ford sold not a single Explorer to any US consumer the sales figures for Explorers would rank near the top of mainstream midsize crossovers as a result of Ford's fleet sales, especially to public agencies. (About a third of all Explorers go to fleets.)
But if the sales of other mainstream crossovers with MSRP's over $50K are any indication consumers willing to spend that much are very likely to opt for brands with greater prestige. Furthermore, so-called performance SUV's such as the ST have extremely low take rates. They draw customers into showrooms but consumers buy less costly and more fuel efficient vehicles.
I'd buy the ST just for the 3 liter engine. I don't drive like nascar, but it is nice to have 400 hp when you merge into highway traffic
