I've seen only a decent chunk of Classic who and thought this was hilarious - I can only imagine those who have seen all of it must be rolling on the floor from laughter. Great work!
If I had a nickel for every time there was evil bubble wrap in Doctor Who I would have two nickels. It’s not a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
@therealpbristow I still love it. Like the chases in Indiana Jones, it's a throwback to the old days when seemingly every action film had an elaborate car chase. Knowing it was the team's farewell present to Pertwee just makes it even better.
And Arc of Infinity, Snakedance, and Mawdryn Undead. All right, here are my picks for each: *"Some of them died," from The Power of Three for Earthshock *Twelve and old Clara from the ending of Last Christmas for Time-Flight *Twelve reunited with young Clara from Last Christmas for Arc of Infinity *Anyone saying the name of the Grand Serpent from Flux for Snakedance *The two Amy Ponds interacting from Space/Time for Mawdryn Undead
@@willowthywisp Let's say it does for fun! The obvious pick is, "Look after the Universe for me; I've put a lot of work into it," from the Prologue of The Magician’s Apprentice, but I'm sure I can do better. Ooh! Ooh! Twelve bribing the architect via time travel in The Husbands of River Song!

@@TimelessThetaSigma I know that, my comment was tongue in cheek. However, people who have never seen the show if they just watched that would think the show is racist. The original comment is funny too.
I'm impressed how many of the obvious pulls you avoided, e.g. "I was at the Fall of Troy!" from The Unquiet Dead for The Myth Makers or, "And before you ask, that Fire had nothing to do with me!" from The Fires of Pompeii for The Romans.
Oh Bravo. Massive Bravo. This really got me good. Laughing out loud multiple times. Power of the Daleks and Shada got me particularly good, but you’re mean for that Frontier in Space one
Monster of Peladon gave me a good chuckle, as did Invasion of Time. When I was a kid I thought it was so cool we got to see more of the TARDIS. My adult self is sadly not as accepting. 😂
By the time of IoT I'd become a cynical teenager, so my mates and I were very snotty about the brick walls and wooden doors in the TARDIS cellar. Strange thing is, I don't think any of us noticed the Sontaran who fell over The Doctor's sun lounger.
This was so much fun! It did make me have to remember a lot of classic who (it all turns to mush about 4 years in lol.) Although this vid made me remember that Dracula exists so there's that. The war machines, Macara terror, faceless ones, the krotons, terror of the autons, the sea devils, the mutants, monster of peladon, horror of fang rock, shada, keeper of traken, and dimensions in time all earned some pretty hearty laughs from me. I'm also very excited to learn more about 7's era now, (I'm hoping to finish season 23 this month, and be done with classic by April)
I just realised, there’s some missing, we went straight from black orchid to terminus. We missing earth shock, timeflight, ark of infinity, snake dance and mawdryn undead
Huh, this whole time I thought he was saying “spaceship”. Given how some of the less eventful episodes get boiled down to “first appearance of ___” maybe it’s referring to the part where the Doctor goes up in the space shuttle wearing full astronaut gear? TBH I only watched Ambassadors as background noise and missed most of the plot points but that bit was nonetheless unorthodox enough to catch my attention.
Late to this video and I'm genuinely curious. Were Earthshock, Time Flight, Arc of Infinity, Snakedance, and Mawdryn Undead cut out due to a mistake, a copyright claim, or because you couldn't find clips for them?
I’m scared that I got most of these, maybe there’s a such thing as being too big of a nerd 😂 But bravo for making this, it’s so impressive. Mind of evil was definitely my favourite because I didn’t get it at first and then it hit me, funniest shit.
It’s alright. I watched it on a phone so didn’t notice all of the costume gaffs that apparently make it so terrible. That said, after hearing the original vision? And how it was meant to be a decrepit leaky rusted base being invaded? Yeah I can see how the production was literally at war with the script.
"The false prophet must die" is so perfect and Caves of Androzani made me laugh haha. I always love finding content from people who enjoy both classic and new.
The Shada one was pure genius, I can’t wait for Every Modern Doctor Who Story Described By Classic Doctor Who
This
Gonna chuck in "He said the Earth was hungry" from Frontios Part 2 for The Hungry Earth...
Was expecting the TV movie to just be the War Doctor going "Does this happen a lot in the future?" when Ten and Liz I kiss
I've seen only a decent chunk of Classic who and thought this was hilarious - I can only imagine those who have seen all of it must be rolling on the floor from laughter. Great work!
Yep, pretty much, and I've only watched 1/3 of the classic series.
I lost it at the clip used for Castrovalva.
I haven't watched anything passed Troughton, so most of the rest was out of context😅
The ones I got were real zingos. 😂
i’ve seen Classic Who and you’re right
The "Good. And not so good" for The Five Doctors and Warriors of the Deep got me XD
If I had a nickel for every time there was evil bubble wrap in Doctor Who I would have two nickels. It’s not a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
Well now you have to do vice versa - Every modern Doctor Who serial described by classic Doctor Who
The one for The planet of the spiders really got me. Its just cars.
Oh just got it now! Thanks!
Going round and round and round, never stopping...
So cruel! That's only three-quarters one *one episode*, guys (and as a kid, I *loved* it)! =:o}
@@therealpbristow I know, but it FEELS never ending. I do enjoy Planet of the Spiders though for all its indulgences

The Macra Terror is perfection
My favorite episode in all of Doctor Who. Glad someone agrees with me for once.
What I love about compilations like this is that it makes Davies's, Moffatt's and Chibnall's eras look like totally different shows.
"Goodbye, Master."
K9 right in the feels.
This was pure genius, I actually screamed with laughter when you showed the clip for The Mutants
Me too, and this is coming from someone who liked The Mutants.
I saw this comment weeks ago and have been looking forward to getting to The Mutants ever since.
Finally did last night and it did not disappoint.
@option3590 The Mutants gets better every time I watch it. The Marshall reminds me of a few managers I've encountered at work.
Rip Earthshock and Time flight

Imagine watching this with no knowledge of either the classic or the modern show -- like two No Context videos at the same time! Massive respect
"Something obvious right in front of me" and "nipping next door for some milk" RIP!!
The Caves of Androzani one 😂
This is great but the description of The Visitation takes the cake for me! 😂😂👏👏
The planet of the spiders one was a stroke of pure genius 😂
0:36 That should be Planet of Giants. Land of the Giants was a American TV series by Irwin Allen.
Kudos for the insane effort that went into this video
I'm not familiar with every story but the ones I know were surprisingly hilariously accurate. Which leads me to believe they all are.
Peri appears... that's a hell of a chest.

This is what I want from the fandom
The Web Planet & The Mutants were too painfully accurate
Very clever, some brilliant flashes of inspiration there, quite subtle and not so subtle. You win UA-cam today.
REVENGE OF THE CYBERMAN REFRENCING THE CYBERMAN SMOKING IS SO GOOD
The leisure hive is 100% accurate
_The Mutants_ one was absolutely perfect
The Talons one was brilliant, but The Romans one had me cackling with laughter for two straight minutes xD
I'd forgotten that bit from Love and Monsters. Although, all I do remember from that is Peter Kay as a fat alien in a g-string and slab face woman.
Oh Bravo. Massive Bravo. This really got me good. Laughing out loud multiple times. Power of the Daleks and Shada got me particularly good, but you’re mean for that Frontier in Space one
I understood All the refferences, opinions and Jokes. What happened to all the stories between Black Orchid and Terminus?
This was utterly brilliant. I actually laughed out loud a few times, and definitely at Shada.

And Earthshock!
Everything Between Black Orchid and Terminus is missing, so most of season 20 and the end of season 19
Mawdryn Undead: "I mean it's a bit dodgy this process, you never know what you're gonna end up with." (Ninth Doctor, "The Parting of Ways")
isn’t there also Snakedance
4:55 That story became quite important recently.
I love that you included dimensions in time
can't believe there was a clip that perfect for it too lmao
Love all these but the mission to the unknown really got me 😂
So why no 'Earthshock', 'Time-Flight', 'Arc of Infinity', 'Snakedance' or 'Mawdryn Undead'...?
Earthshock should be The Doctor looking into the time vortex as a kid.
The clip you chose for Invasion made me CACKLE
