i'm 230 pounds and i box (amatuer). I've done this every day for the past month (although not as perfect as manny here) and i've noticed a huge difference in stamina, core strength, conditioning etc. It really is a good excercise to do, very painful but definetly worth it.
Those 10 minutes look like an eternity, because the mind focuses on the pain so much, that's why time is relative. The key is to accept pain and become part of it.
its funny ppl work out for a half hour a day and wonder why they don't see results , he just did 700 reps in 10 min , prolly runs like 10 miles , and that's just his morning warm up lol
Shorter more intense workouts like this will be better then working out a couple hours with short breaks in between. Working out for a half hour a day is plenty of exercise. Just gotta work out the right way during that half hour. No rest, a splash of water here and there and you're good to go.
The first time I tried this (about a year ago), I could only do 20 each and sometimes couldn't do the whole thing, and that's including having done alot of ab workouts prior. Presently, I can do the whole workout 50 reps each and at times are wanting to do more. This exact workout has greatly helped with my core strength.
2 week going strong! 3 times last week and 1st time this week i'm going to push for another 2 throughout the week and pick up more shifts throughout the following weeks this is extremely hard so I do close to 30- 45 depends on which rep it is...remember folks he is a professional athlete lol don't die trying to keep up just take your time and progress as best as possible
For my ab workout at the gym, I crunch the entire stack of about 300 lbs at 35 reps per set. I do about 6 sets. Yet, I am really feeling Pac's ab exercises. I can feel the burn instantly. These are very effective.
I do this same ab routine 5x a week with a few extra moves. It takes me about less than 20 minutes as I am 6 foot 1 with longer legs and torso. Manny does this routine without hardly stopping in about 10 minutes. This routine demands a lot of endurance!
I can do it in 15 now. In the time I used to procrastinate and wonder whether I could be arsed to do it, I would've done it twice over. I highly recommended this.

@Retro Twix I can do these quicker than Mani as he has a few breaks. I take into consideration that he's probably already ran ten miles and also done some other training. It really isn't hard. I think after six weeks of this I need to mix and vary this routine now with different ab work as I'm finding this pretty easy now. I've worked my abs pretty good in the past so I don't find this too crazy. Keep it up! I'll also add that that my ab routine follows a 30-45 min workout with weights.

Seriously, my workout isn't anything out of the ordinary and there are better routines you could be watching on UA-cam. But as I said, you do not have to be anything other than moderately fit to do this. Surely you don't have to see me to believe that!? There are guys down your local gym that you can see do crazier shit than this.

Lol you're doing it all wrong. chin up every time you do a crunch and you'll feel it in your abs. it will take time form takes time to do it in the right form.

But that routine definitely is a killer workout. You abs will burn the more you do it, and the more strength you’ll gain as well. You can’t help but get a six pack if you do this every day.

Manny's ab workouts are the best. To make these even harder, wear ankle weights once you get used to getting through the whole workout, makes it more challenging! (I wear 2.5 lbs on each ankle)
i just found out that strong abs really improves your punching power and has alot of other benefits. i was always working out my shoulders and triceps for speed and power but after doing this workout my boxing has really improved this is a key workout for all fighters
I could only do the beginning part of this video, for 30 seconds only, my abs were in so much pain. That 30 seconds was the complete ab workout for me.
These pac man training vids, are great to play with some tunes while you are doing your workouts, its great for motivation, and even better when you see the pack forming!(:D)
I've been training my wholebody for almost a year now. I decided to do this as my ab routine everyday. I was surprised that I find this sets relatively easier for me. Hopefully this will make my abs pop. I'm at 12% body fat. lol. I added lying leg raises and killer sit 100 sit ups after the Manny's routine.

THIS IS INSANELY DIFFICULT
It's not at all difficult. Start slowly like 10 reps or even 5, build up slowly and you'll get there
Is it still difficult for you ? I mix it every day with my other exercises and I can agree it doesn't get much easier...

I tried doin this straight at home but it took me almost 2hours to complete the whole routine. This is so intense.

This AB workout is really good, one of my favourite ;) Great results, mainly sideways ;D Much better AB exercises than A6W for me :)
