    Been doing this for a month now. 5 nights a week I just follow along side him in the video and I haven't even been dieting, just making better choices here and there and I have noticeable abs. Not only that I also have oblique muscles that are visible that I have never noticed in my life. This shit really works and I advice you to stay on this. Thanks Freddy and Barstarz for this amazing video!

      This video specifically didn’t get me abs but it was the start of my motivation to get abs. Started working out seriously (body weight only tho, no gym- on top of soccer training + games) and I wanna say I could officially claim to have abs around May/June, but I had a few slip-ups with my diet that stunted my progress. To this day I’ve been able to keep them pretty defined so yeah it’s definitely possible you just have to stay committed to a routine because you don’t get the results you want immediately

    Some advice for you guys, abs are not some kind of "special" muscle, they are the same as your arms or back so you don't need to do 100 reps for 30 minutes, just apply some weight so that you can't do more than 10 reps and you're good to go. Too many people don't know how it works...

      @phoenixamaranth 9 років тому +30

      S-R-B-I-J-A That's great for a certain type of look and performance level but to burn more calories, build endurance, etc. higher reps are used. A good example is a boxer vs a bodybuilder. The bodybuilder can have larger muscles but nowhere near the endurance and speed. It's all about what the goal is.

    • @Ivo3963
      @Ivo3963 9 років тому +9

      phoenixamaranth To burn calories you shouldn't even do this. To burn calories you should do burpees, sprints, HIIT that would be the best way, to kill it right away. But i guess this is for beginners so it's not bad.

    • @colinboots8694

      S-R-B-I-J-A Your abs, calves, and forearms are all fast twitch muscle fibre. Therefore higher reps are more effective for these types of muscles than lower rep high weight. You must be a beginner.

    What they don't tell you guys is that the secrect of having abs embodied in loosing fat first, which mean you need a Diet+Cardio daily to achieve that , and only after having a 6% of body fat you can start these exercices and the result will be 100%
    I TRIED IT AND IT WORKED

    • @PrivatasFTW

      Bullshit, 15% body fat, got a big visible 8pack. Also not every is lucky and is born with more than 6pack, and if your unlucky you can be born with a 4pack, tho the less the easier to make them visible since that means less chunks so they are bigger naturally.

    What I would recommend to do is that when you get reallly tired. instead of stoping, do some push ups. You will be working your chest and resting your abs for a minute, then keep going with the workout, and stop again, until ur done :)

    • @wescuijpers8946
      @wescuijpers8946 10 років тому

      You won't build your chest like that, you have to do much more than just push ups in between.

    • @TheJavaprieto
      @TheJavaprieto 10 років тому

      Go to bodybuilders.com for some workout tips. Push ups are good but not the only thing. However if you have no funds for a gym or weights try this. Take some protein in the morning, then for lunch, finally before bed to feed muscles.
      Push ups
      Rest a minute after every set.
      1) 10
      2)15
      3)13
      4)20
      5)25
      Repeat every day, but increase reps every time you think you could do more.

      Wes Cuijpers pushups are the main way to form your chest. It wont get it big but it will get it ripped

    • @coolbeatguy
      @coolbeatguy 10 років тому +1

      J Alamo if you're doing that every day, there will be a point that you can't even move your chest because it hurts so much. You need atleast 2/3 days between your chest workouts. If you do this every day you'll get injured and weaker( because you're breaking down your chest).

    • @TheJavaprieto
      @TheJavaprieto 10 років тому +2

      The myth is that if you workout you should do one or two body parts per day and move on to the next. I'm here to say it is not so. Bro workout watch your form and eat right. Don't be afraid to push yourself. I work my chest for a whole week and then I move on to the next part. But I mix chest through my workouts . As long as you know your body you will be fine. Push yourself but don't over do it and take vitamins. I lift to gain muscle mass, but I don't lift for bragging rights. I take Animal pak from Universal Nutrition, it has all you need to help you recover from your workout.

If anybody here needs some fitness and personal training consultation then hit me up and we'll discuss helping you out. be prepared to work hard and be patient though. Ive not been doing cardio as im a hardgainer and because its so hard just to eat enough I didnt want to do cardio and burn off too many precious Callories, is the pot belly because of the lack of cardio? If so how much should I do? Thanks

    • @futurealasd

      1st of all u must always keep knees bent. If u don't and have them straight/locked all the force ends up in your lower back. 2nd try to start with lower back abs first and then go to front abs. 3rd if it still hurt you, go do planks and stretching

      when u do crunches and leg raises, u need to bend ur back (hunch) especially towards the end of the motion where the strain is the most on ur back.

      Even though I dedicate two days a week to my legs, and train them very hard, they're still very thin. Muscular, yet thin. I really don't think you can make your legs very big, unless you gain weight. The only fit person I've seen with very big and muscular legs is the Legendary Boxer Manny Pacquiao. His legs are very big and toned for a 147 pound man! Ja!

      Good for you. I don't have a problem with thin legs, since I have them. Like I said, my legs are thin, but very muscular. I also do cardio and weightlifting, and no need to brag about who will smoke who. Less talk, more action.

      ***** Common misconception, legs are one of the most important components of a boxer/fighters body. Your upper body relies on your lower body to get any power. Thai Boxing/Muay Thai's taught me this.

      +RefrigeratorI would recommend to do more reps a day and if u train on Monday your next ab training will be Wednesday so your abs have a full day to recover if they don’t recover enough they will not grow above all that I would recommend 3 different exercises and first 3 sets and later 4 and for each exercise begin with 15 reps and every day after u will train try to add more reps so your goal will be 20 and if you can do more- do it!, do it till failure so your abs will be trained good and will recover and grow the day after and important is to drink milk or eat yogurt with nuts which are not salted this will help your muscle recover so you will max your growth further I would suggest 1 time a week cardio like running play some football or basketball just to lose some fat / burn those extra calories and eat a lot of protein to build that ab muscle like tuna peanut butter chicken and so sorry for my bad English hope this will help
