Did this routine for three years straight when I was in highschool , now I’m out and needing to get back in shape so I’m back and this is still the best
Been doing this for a month now. 5 nights a week I just follow along side him in the video and I haven't even been dieting, just making better choices here and there and I have noticeable abs. Not only that I also have oblique muscles that are visible that I have never noticed in my life. This shit really works and I advice you to stay on this. Thanks Freddy and Barstarz for this amazing video!
It's impressive how this guy can do the exercises smoothly with perfect form and still have enough breath to speak logically without showing visible signs of fatigue. Much respect!
Just doing all that would get my core burning like hell and my whole body sweating and he did it like it was nothing. Looked about as easy as walking for him. That's motivation for me though. I'm very glad I watched this.
It's all easy for me. I have to do these things with salt bags or other ways of adding weight to not be bored from doing endless repetitions and not tiring out the muscles.
This video specifically didn’t get me abs but it was the start of my motivation to get abs. Started working out seriously (body weight only tho, no gym- on top of soccer training + games) and I wanna say I could officially claim to have abs around May/June, but I had a few slip-ups with my diet that stunted my progress. To this day I’ve been able to keep them pretty defined so yeah it’s definitely possible you just have to stay committed to a routine because you don’t get the results you want immediately
thanks man for sharing this exercises, I have been doing them for about 2 months and I got my six pack I cant tell u how happy and proud I am thank you so much.
This video is a lot of help, thank you for this. I'm going to use these exercises daily to try to get ripped like the man in the video, it's very positive and it's good Karma to help people like this. Kudos to you for posting this.
I love this workout! Perfect for me. A few minutes every other day and I began seeing real results quickly. I'm 53 and I don't want to go to the gym or have a routine that I will soon start to hate doing. This is a few minutes every two days and it really works.
We did these in 6-8th grade with are ex drill instructor gym teacher Mr. Stein . These are basic calisthenics everybody should be doing and or done . Then again back in 1976 we actually had gym class (Physical Education ) that was about fitness . i still do all the exercises i was taught back then and I an 52 yrs now . Nice to see you showing others basic very efficient movements you can do anywhere . have a great day
Park Jimin lately it seems that most people want everything , right now ( jess glynn) . many don't understand hard work, commitment and endurance is the best way to achieve your goals . unless you are a rich kid from BevHls .tech is great now a days and scientific break throughs tremendous . some old ways are better IMO ie simple natural foods for nutrition and illness remedies . that's is a small take on your question . hope all is well with you .
I started working out alongside this video 8 years ago when i was in high school and at the beginning it took me about 15-20 minutes a day 5 or 6 days a week and for about 4 or 5 months I started adding more excercises like push ups and jumping jacks and started jump rope also and I ended working out for over 2 hours daily and gradually improving my diet and I lost alot of weight and was in good place, now I,m back 8 years later hoping to start over
Yea im using 15 sec rest after each 25 reps of most abbs stuff, or 25 jumping Jack's in between different exercises, I'm switching to rings this week, changing my game. This vid yeap it's in my arsenal now, all for attacking the abbs, wafflecrisp222
Such a cool routine especially for beginners: hits the core from many angles, doesn't require lots of reps, and can be done in a matter of minutes. Love it.
I used this routine 5 days a week when I was 18 and it helped me built a strong core and some really nice abs. Now I’m 25 and trying to get back in shape. Great workouts for anyone trying to get in shape
I'm not a beginner when it comes to working out , but the exercises I learned from this video have made my core a lot stronger . Thanks man, I highly appreciate the help .
Some advice for you guys, abs are not some kind of "special" muscle, they are the same as your arms or back so you don't need to do 100 reps for 30 minutes, just apply some weight so that you can't do more than 10 reps and you're good to go. Too many people don't know how it works...
S-R-B-I-J-A That's great for a certain type of look and performance level but to burn more calories, build endurance, etc. higher reps are used. A good example is a boxer vs a bodybuilder. The bodybuilder can have larger muscles but nowhere near the endurance and speed. It's all about what the goal is.
phoenixamaranth To burn calories you shouldn't even do this. To burn calories you should do burpees, sprints, HIIT that would be the best way, to kill it right away. But i guess this is for beginners so it's not bad.
S-R-B-I-J-A Your abs, calves, and forearms are all fast twitch muscle fibre. Therefore higher reps are more effective for these types of muscles than lower rep high weight. You must be a beginner.
Also learning the barstarz mad exercises and im not strong enough for the good ones just the basics dips pull ups and few levers but the muscle up is one hell of a challenge still cant do 1, but never give up!!
Freddy's a beast! Talk about packing a bunch of exercises in one video. So much to learn from here. Starting a channel of my own and I can't wait to help spread the things I'm learning.
What they don't tell you guys is that the secrect of having abs embodied in loosing fat first, which mean you need a Diet+Cardio daily to achieve that , and only after having a 6% of body fat you can start these exercices and the result will be 100% I TRIED IT AND IT WORKED
Bullshit, 15% body fat, got a big visible 8pack. Also not every is lucky and is born with more than 6pack, and if your unlucky you can be born with a 4pack, tho the less the easier to make them visible since that means less chunks so they are bigger naturally.
good video - so many people commenting have no idea how to implement these exercises with a good diet lol - its crazy. If anybody here needs some fitness and personal training consultation then hit me up and we'll discuss helping you out. be prepared to work hard and be patient though. I don't want a girl asking how she can get a six pack from a fat stomach by doing 6 minutes work every day.
Ive been clean bulking for a while now and although im getting stronger and a bit bigger im starting to get a little pot belly! Ive not been doing cardio as im a hardgainer and because its so hard just to eat enough I didnt want to do cardio and burn off too many precious Callories, is the pot belly because of the lack of cardio? If so how much should I do? Thanks
What I would recommend to do is that when you get reallly tired. instead of stoping, do some push ups. You will be working your chest and resting your abs for a minute, then keep going with the workout, and stop again, until ur done :)
Go to bodybuilders.com for some workout tips. Push ups are good but not the only thing. However if you have no funds for a gym or weights try this. Take some protein in the morning, then for lunch, finally before bed to feed muscles. Push ups Rest a minute after every set. 1) 10 2)15 3)13 4)20 5)25 Repeat every day, but increase reps every time you think you could do more.
J Alamo if you're doing that every day, there will be a point that you can't even move your chest because it hurts so much. You need atleast 2/3 days between your chest workouts. If you do this every day you'll get injured and weaker( because you're breaking down your chest).
The myth is that if you workout you should do one or two body parts per day and move on to the next. I'm here to say it is not so. Bro workout watch your form and eat right. Don't be afraid to push yourself. I work my chest for a whole week and then I move on to the next part. But I mix chest through my workouts . As long as you know your body you will be fine. Push yourself but don't over do it and take vitamins. I lift to gain muscle mass, but I don't lift for bragging rights. I take Animal pak from Universal Nutrition, it has all you need to help you recover from your workout.

***** lol just telling you right now 2-3 hours a day is way to much you are going to damage more than you help, i'd say 20 min to 1 hour is best range depending on how slow you work or breaks etc. never more than that that is way too much
Been doing these exercises for two days now and already starting to form a strong core. Gonna do this every day and hopefully be as ripped and he is by the end of the year.
Been doing this for a while now and trust me it works. Hands down one of the best home core exercises that guarantees results. Partner this up with hanging leg raises on a pullup bar and your abs are golden

OfficialBarstarzz Hey how often do you work abs? I work them 4-5 days a week right now
No idea how you do all that non stop. Time to work harder on my core. You're a beast bro, keep it up!
What they don't tell you guys is that the secrect of having abs embodied in loosing fat first, which mean you need a Diet+Cardio daily to achieve that , and only after having a 6% of body fat you can start these exercices and the result will be 100%
I TRIED IT AND IT WORKED
Bullshit, 15% body fat, got a big visible 8pack. Also not every is lucky and is born with more than 6pack, and if your unlucky you can be born with a 4pack, tho the less the easier to make them visible since that means less chunks so they are bigger naturally.
you know bodybuilders have around 3-4 on stage so dont be silly!

I've doing doing leg raises, crunches and sittups recently.
When i do leg raises and sittups my lower back cracks/pops each rep.
dafuq is up with that
Your abs aren't strong enough to keep your back flat on the floor, try putting your hands under your but wild doing leg raises
Matthew Cooke that is how i do my leg raises.
Btw i'm 19, used to be very fit but haven't done much of anything for a couple years. (i'm almost 12st)

Do Supermen... it helps
when u do crunches and leg raises, u need to bend ur back (hunch) especially towards the end of the motion where the strain is the most on ur back.

If u workout for 4 to 5 minuts a day for about 2 to 3 months u will have work hard get hard 😃
No couse u dont do 2 to 3 hr beacouse its hardcore im talking for begeners i only do. 1hr a day 😃
*****
lol just telling you right now 2-3 hours a day is way to much you are going to damage more than you help, i'd say 20 min to 1 hour is best range depending on how slow you work or breaks etc. never more than that that is way too much
Skipping arm and leg day I see....
Been doing these exercises for two days now and already starting to form a strong core. Gonna do this every day and hopefully be as ripped and he is by the end of the year.
Just seen you not take a break during the whole workout gave me a deep sigh ! Kudos bro !!
One of the best videos on abs exercises - great job Freddy Fox! And thanks.
Still doing this work out, still works 🔥
By far my favorite abs workout video its 5 min long but its a beast of a workout!
Been doing this for a while now and trust me it works. Hands down one of the best home core exercises that guarantees results. Partner this up with hanging leg raises on a pullup bar and your abs are golden
Doin this for years. Works.

Thanks man! Lots of exercises which makes it easy to avoid getting bored by having to do the same excercises again and again. Thank a lot! :)
