Browned butter is a great idea! Will definitely add depth of flavor. Let me know if I should do a video with it. Thank you for the input. Really helps a lot.
Yes, honey is carnivore. It is an animal product, produced by animals. That makes it carnivore. It's probably best not to eat it, though, because of the sugar content.
Great recipe! I’m gonna try this… but I’m going to brown the butter first. That should give it a really deep carmally flavor. Also will add some Allulose.
Better recipe: 1/2 L of heavy cream, 5 egg yolks, vanilla, stevia as sweetener (optionally 2 tea spoons of xylitol to lower freezing point). Heat it up to 170 F stirring. Let it sit for a night in fridge (important, to thicken and get right texture). Put to ice cream maker and make real ice cream, not whipping cream.
I didn't mention any artificial sweeteners as the idea was that this should be 100% carnivore and super simple that anybody could do it . That being said, you are absolutely right artificial sweeteners and other flavorings with definitely make this a lot more palatable to the general population.
@@_Mikekkk everything you said is true but that would make it not 100% carnivore. Anybody could take the bass recipe and add whatever they wanted to it. Personally I think it tastes good with crispy bacon bits. 😁
@@REAL-CARNIVORE That sweetener and vanilla flavor adds soooo tiny amount to recipe, maybe 0.5% total (nothing to talk about), but improves taste a lot. But most important part that you need to heat egg yolks to proper temperature and wait overnight to get right ice cream texture. This is how real icecream is made. I just replaced sugar with stevia.
Pretty cool! Gonna try this! Next time maybe try browned butter for a 'caramel' taste. Might have to play arpund with it.

Tried similar recipe that had Zero butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla ,was really good ! The honey idea drizzled on top excellent !!
I will definitely try it without butter next time it would probably be a little softer
Nothing ever gets your spirits down sam
Gotta stay focused
Honey isn't carnivore...but if you love it..a little as a treat isn't going to hurt anyone. I have to try this.
It goes well with bacon bits and honey. Let me know if you give it a try and what you think

Agreed
Salted or unsalted butter? Sorry if I missed it somewhere!!
For this recipe I used unsalted but salted butter also would be fine
How about using allulose as sweetener?
Yes artificial sweeteners can be used of course to taste to fit anybody's requirements but this specific video was to be 100% carnivore.

Please let me know how it turns out I would like to also try Browning the butter

@@REAL-CARNIVORE Stevia is natural sweetener made from stevia plant leaves (but has zero carbs). There is nothing artificial. As well as vanilla.

@@_Mikekkk thanks. I will the heating next time I make it.
Because they're kids the sugar (honey) is not helpful ... Most food addictions begin in childhood ... No, honey is not carnivore.
I completely understand
Its basically whipp cream , I have made it before and I rather just not have anything than this .
I can appreciate that. Sometimes a little treat and variety are nice to have.
