I moved next to Dungeness Valley Creamery, for a few years, in Sequim-Dungeness, Washington. The story of how Ryan and Sarah, the owners, went raw is really somethin’.. A man was dying of stomach cancer, couldn’t keep anything down, and was really suffering in his last days. His doctor said, perhaps, raw milk would be something he could keep down - yet, there were no raw dairy farms or raw dairy being sold, anywhere. They were approached by someone, advocating for the dying man, asking if they would please sell them some raw dairy. Ryan and Sarah would sell to Dairygold, however, it was illegal for them to sell milk raw. Eventually, the fave in - and gave raw milk, to the dying man. And it, truly, eased his suffering in the last of his days - as he was able to keep it down. That’s when they knew they needed to switch their dairy farm, to raw. Admittedly, however.. I was not a huge fan of their products - specifically, their heavy cream. It was the consistency of whole milk, almost - not thick and creamy, like normal heavy cream. Not like the one I use to get from the farmer’s market, in Los Angeles and back up north, in Chico, CA (to which, I haven’t seen that company sell around here, anymore; though, I have seen the company you mentioned - being we’re not that far from Fresno). The couple who owns Dungeness-Valley Creamery said that was due to Washington not allowing the use of a specific machine, which, better separates the milk from the cream - because it SLIGHTLY heats up the product, as it spins and is being separated, and the state didn’t see it as being safe enough. Hell, they wanted to start a little coffee shop, on the property - and the state wouldn’t allow it, because of the heating of the products and making sure they were served at a proper temperature. Sooooo.. They opened an ice cream shop, instead. Sadly, I never got the chance to try it, before I moved (I was dealing with severe GI issues, and was either bedridden/homebound for much of my time living there). Though, I am quite glad I got a chance to chat with the owners. I really miss living in that area - especially, being able to drive by and see the baby cows; and even cows giving birth, out in the field. If ever in the PNW Washington, they’re worth checking out, for sure.
Hey Paul there is no raw milk near me but I got a milk that says it’s no antibiotics, no gmos and pasture raised, it’s cooked but it says it’s cooked at a lower temperature then traditional pasteurized milk do you think this is still beneficial opposed to regular pasteurized milk or should I just not drink any at all if it isn’t raw??? Just wondered your thoughts
Low-temp pasteurization is better than regular... But, I personally ONLY drink raw milk because pasteurization can damage the milk in many ways and make it more allergenic for people. Heat degrades the beneficial compounds found in raw milk.
@@Paulsaladinomd EDIT: After 2 weeks of cooking and eating milk this way I started getting symptoms again. Any form of pastuerized milk seems to disagree with me. I tolerate cooked pasturized milk better than just pastuerized, but it does not appear to be wholely "good". Worth the experiment. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Strangely enough, I've recently tried to slow bake pasteurized milk for an hour and a half at 150c in my air fryer's bake option, with the goal to denature the protein in pastuerized milk as much as possible, to break it down into amino acids. My theory being that it's casomorphin, that is making me intolerant, as I am not lactose intolerant and I get opiate like effects from consuming pastuerized milk. I have not tried raw milk, as it is not available to me, but I speculate perhaps that the short time high heat, fast cooling pastuerization process warps, but doesn't break down the natural peptides, somehow making the peptides harmful to some people. My body tolerates pastuerized milk cooked this way, way better. If I drink it straight out of the carton I get woozy for days. Cooking it for a long time makes it not taste like cardboard to me as it normally does, it makes it taste sweet instead. This is just speculation with an anecdote attached, but I wonder if it is the same for others.
@@SawBlade1190 I feel sick and get brainfog for days if I drink milk as it is from the store. I'd rather not have that effect, as I like milk. If you can tolerate it as it is, then I am happy for you.

He is against any type of bean and vanilla comes from a bean not to mention what other ingredients they use to bind the vanilla to, usually alcohol. If vanilla extract helps you stay on track then I say go for it.

In most other cities there are "milk-o-mats" where you can buy raw milk with your bottle, or at farmers market. There is jut none in my city.
Raw milk products are also illegal for human consumption in Florida 🤨 there are a few crafty farmers who sell it as animal food. Unfortunately there are none within even 2 hours of my house. I use pasteurized non homogenized grass fed cream because it's illegal to buy raw milk here. I can get it from a local farm but you have to buy shares and all that. The raw milk was $20 a gallon last time i bought it a couple years ago! The enzymes killed off during pasteurization sucks but the biggest problem is homogenized milk and cream become so tiny they penetrate the blood brain barrier. I use Redmond real salt, raw evaporated cane juice sugar and organic vanilla extract. I use organic cherries a lot, or blueberries, sometimes with organic coconut oil based chocolate chips i make, sometimes i make just plain vanilla ice cream. I freeze it for 1.5 hours then stir it good. Freeze it for another 1.5 hours and mix it again. If i put it in and forget to mix it it turns out hard as a rock and with ice crystals. I haven't tried it with yolks yet. Probably would be good to add. As it is, my ice cream tastes damn good though. Didn't realize how good until this Christmas i had my moms apple pie with breyers ice cream and noticed how much better mine tastes than that garbage i used to love!
Way too many carbs - irresponsible advise. If you wan't to find out if honey is bad for you, do this: Take tea or tablespoon in your mouth and swish it around. Swallow if needed, but keep as much in your mouth as possible. No brushing teeth. 1-2 hours after, your mouth and teeth actually hurts from the sugar that's attacking your tissues.
Doesn't happen to me. Maybe you just have an issue with honey. You could also say that if you slowly chewed raw meat and didn't brush your teeth for hours bad things would be happening to your mouth, too. Doesn't mean that's bad for your whole body.

This is perfect because ice cream is my weakness. I mormally buy some ice cream every 2-3 weeks so this is a great replacement
Just wondered your thoughts
best your going to get for your situation
@@SawBlade1190 lol my thoughts exactly
@@SawBlade1190 I feel sick and get brainfog for days if I drink milk as it is from the store. I'd rather not have that effect, as I like milk. If you can tolerate it as it is, then I am happy for you.
I love this kind of ice cream. As for the whites, can you make pavlova with honey? It calls for lots of sugar but I don’t know if you can whip honey into beaten up egg whites. If so, I can eat a whole recipe by myself. It’s so delish.
Yes thank you sm for the recipe!
Let me know how you like it 🙏
I make my own with egg protein powder, coconut milk, heavy cream and allulose..mix all together and freeze..
Thank Paul for this recipe 😊❤👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I use Mark's (Raw Farm) products!! Have for a very long time! So cool you brought up his farm.
No hating just generally interested in your take. I purchase Raw Farms Kefir myself and know they recently had a recall for their milk and cream regarding Salmonella (didn't effect Kefir) any thoughts?
It wasn’t actually a recall. They posted a form of results showing that there wasn’t anything bad in their products.
Thank you Paul ❤
Thank you so much for this
Glad you enjoyed the content 🙏
Love the video! Would you mind sharing what R/O water filter you have in the background?
Amazing recipe thank you.
I love this video going make some with my grandma
Great video. Made some banana ice cream just now! I was blessed.
Hey Paul, I’m curious to know, what are your thoughts on vanilla extract?
Me too
He is against any type of bean and vanilla comes from a bean not to mention what other ingredients they use to bind the vanilla to, usually alcohol. If vanilla extract helps you stay on track then I say go for it.
@@DweezlePeePants the only thing I use it for is animal based ice cream. Well I guess not animal based if there’s vanilla in it
He is so fine.. I could try that ice cream but without the peptides the powder I don't know where I would find that it might be too expensive but I do the heavy whipping cream and the egg yolk and honey
We want more recipes! This is great!
Raw goat milk from my own barn helped me so much!
If I were a millionaire I'd beg you and pay you to spend a week with you eating what you eat and work out!! You have access to all the good stuff. If I wanted to get some raw milk over here I'd have to turn into a sherlock Holmes. Organic dragon fruit??! Even harder to get. You always make the best food videos.
Just eat nonprocessed foods with an emphasis on ruminant animals and eggs. You'll be good.
@@allengaible6436~Yes, a ruminant animal “is” a cow, goat, sheep, moose, elk, deer, bison, and buffalo.
~A “non” ruminant animal is a chicken, turkey, and pork.
~I think a Ruminant animal is more healthy to eat.
~Also “do” use these good oils & fats:: beef tallow, ghee, butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, and olive oil.
~Do “not” use vegetables seed oils which are the most widely used unhealthy fats:: Canola oil, Corn oil, Soy oil, Sunflower oil, Safflower oil, Cottonseed oil, Grapeseed oil, and Rice Bran oil.

Too bad raw milk is illegal in Belgium. Sometimes the system seems to be stacked against us.
The government just wants to protect you...Trust your loving government 🤣
Recently started drinking raw camel's milk. Absolutely delicious with some high quality honey.
Talk to any mother whose breastfed and they know the power of raw milk.
Yes! I have heard many anecdotes of mothers seeing amazing benefits from drinking raw milk while breastfeeding!
A man can live solely on a women's breast milk. Of course if she's eating healthy and not on drugs.
😊 thank you for the knowledge❤❤
HELL YEAHH!! This is my type of content Keep it up Paul
Oo, I am doing icecream like this for at least 10 years, but with pasterized milk cream, no raw milk in my city. Taht is 80% of our icecream consumtion, and for 20% if I buy in the store, I allways take premium icecream with mae with cream/butter and/or partly with coconut oil, but without caragnan, any gums, carob seeds, other oils , other additivesetc etc. It can be found here in Europe.
As much as California has tons of problems (where we moved from), FL has waaaaay to many laws about everything! But thanks for the recipe!
Beautiful chopping board 😍
Can’t do dairy, but looks awesome
Yes you can. Stop the greens and slowly introduce raw milk.
@@mikieemiike3979 no you cannot when you have parasites and/or candida overgrowth
@@SK52414 Been there a couple times. The best way to fight bad bacteria is to introduce good bacteria and nutrition.
Have you tried raw cheese?
@@NS-ie2ld Yes, I have tried all raw dairy. Can’t do it. Parasites love it.
I just made some ice cream with raw cream but wish it was fluffier. Inspired to try your recipe. Thank u for all your education. Speak it Dr. Saladino!
"Ice cream can be a health food." - Paul Saladino . This guy will say anything.
It is a health food if you make it solely with health ingredients.
Ice cream at the store and at restaurants is garbage because they use garbage ingredients.
I love this! I am a year into my carnivore, cheese, honey and fruit journey but I am now craving ice cream. I have not been an ice cream fan in the past so it is probably the fat in the cream I am actually craving. I would like to definitely try your recipe. Summer is coming on already in East Texas and ice cream would be a refreshing cool treat. I may try taking a spoon of raw cream to see how that does for me. Thank you for all you do! Many blessings to you! Heidi Lynn.
You should put the links to the studies you show in the description.
Great recipe sir great 👍
Serious question.....is honey not made up of fructose? And fructose is deemed to be unhealthy for the body?
Did you watch the video? He answers your question multiple times…
Other doctors say not to use honey. Like Dr Barry
Would this work for plain vanilla ice cream ? Please show us more recipies, thank you.
If you eat fruits and dairy, no matter how pure they are you will be craving for more. That's what they are designed to do.
That's so very true but what's wrong with that?
@@firelight-vitality It's just that I can't control my cravings very well and I know there are many people like me who don't want to struggle with cravings. What Dr. Paul doing is keep those people stay addicted to sweets.
@@homoruge Understood
The yolks will help prevent those ice crystals from forming if you use enough yolks-4 to 6 being the French version.
Way too many carbs - irresponsible advise. If you wan't to find out if honey is bad for you, do this:
Take tea or tablespoon in your mouth and swish it around.
@@madeleinegrayson8372 Honey has fructose, which is 7-10x more glycating than glucose, and it overburdens the Randle cycle when combined with fats.
In italy, they say that the yolk should be cook and that you can eat the white raw
I can not eat dairy, nothing raw, nothing cold.
Why not? When was the last time you tried raw milk?
Instead of showers one should use sauna as a steam shower to avoid toxic compounds
That is the most beautiful color I’ve ever seen that magenta
