Just when you thought Keanu Reeves couldn’t have a bigger trilogy than The Matrix -- in comes the little action franchise that could -- John Wick. The world assassins is full of deep mythology, great twists, and plenty of epic action moments. Now we’re going to cash in some gold coins to pull back the curtains and reveal some surprising facts about all three movies in the franchise! While John Wick movies are filled with fight after fight, they all typically lead up to an epic showdown. To help top the epic mirror fight scene in John Wick 2, the production put together a massive glass wall set inside the Continental for John Wick Chapter 3. Besides his parished wife, John Wick pretty much seems like a loner. Sure, he has a few allies throughout the trilogy, but there’s no mention of extended family. At first I thought it was Gabriel Byrne.
Something I found interesting throughout all 3 movies was that in the first one, both Winston and Wick's hair was more sleeked back and straight. Then in the second one, it was wavier. Then the third, it was messier. The farther they go, the deeper into the rabbit hole they go.

I went into the cinema without any expectations. 15 minutes in and John Wick was riding a horse through NYC beating up guys on motorcycles. Expectations shattered.

Sofia’s dog isn’t killed. She has two dogs, one of which the guy demands to keep as a gift. When she refuses, he shoots the dog, but the dog is wearing a bulletproof harness/vest. You literally watch her rush to the dog and pick the bullet off of the vest.

Also, the video repeatedly refers to the John Wick movies as a trilogy. If it were a trilogy, Parabellum would’ve definitively ended the story which it clearly did not. A trilogy is not simply “three movies”.

Yeah, I’m shocked that anyone thought that her dogs were killed as it’s ridiculously obvious that the dog’s vest took the bullet; that would have hurt the poor pooch like hell, but wouldn’t have killed the pupper.
Fun fact - the designer who John sees for his new suits in Part 2 is the designer for the series. They just gave him a talking role in the film and he did a pretty good job! He’s a clothing designer and not an actor, but his acting in the role was quite good.

So true….. the action was so awesome and that it kind of takes you back to win you were to see like Bruce Lee movies just I mean all of those movies that were so action pack that have been lost for so long he just would like to thank them for bringing that action back to film as in cinematography because I know they’re different It’s awesome. Like the kind of awesome that has you sitting on the edge of your chair or squeezing the arm of your chair. They should really win every award possible.

I like that the 2 sequels begin right where the other ended, and they had John looking far more visibly exhausted during the third final fight scene.

I really like Keanu. He works hard to get things as perfect as he can. I admire his work ethic, working with weapons and props to perfection. He's said to be the best in the business with regard to guns and other weapons, said by many directors who've worked with him. So sorry to hear about such tragedy he's had to endure and sincerely hope he's okay now. I haven't watched any of the John Wick movies, but I will now!

While I liked John Wick 3 I felt a bit robbed as the ending essentially negates all the plot advancement of the film, at the end hes back to exactly where he started it the end of John Wick 2.

I'm an Aussie and I really think this Reeves actor is just excellent with the John Wick series just excellent . The story line is fun and imaginative but the close combat and gun action is just so much fun and entertaining . Well done to the narrator here too
They should make a movie "the beginning legend of John wick" how he first joined the underworld life and how his original life was, orphan or whatever.
Nah - part of the fun and mystique of John Wick is that by not having a concrete backstory (something we have definitely seen) it allows us to use our imaginations to make up whatever we want. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to a few flashbacks to some of his earlier jobs - just not an entire story/movie that would (in effect) limit what could be by making x, y, & Z canon and nothing else.

One of my favorite tv series is THE PRISONER (1967-1968) starring Patrick McGoohan. "Be seeing you", is a major catch phrase in the series. Maybe someone involved with the John Wick series is a fan. Both series involve a lone man standing up to seemingly insurmountable odds in a slightly surreal world. Just a thought.

It actually would be pretty cool if after Keaunu hangs it up they find suitable successors to carry on the franchise for decades. I could really see it being like the American version of the James Bond series.

Best Action Franchise of the New Millenium. Though the Marvel and DC movies have been a lot of fun. John Wick was EPIC!! The fight scenes/gun battles were truly creative. Keanu's RL Martial Arts training lent a very realistic feel to the fight sequences. Fast Paced. Interesting storyline..and is it me or does Keanu just keep getting better looking with time ;-)

These John Wick films could become a TV show like The Punisher, But Reeves is SUCH a humble dude. Never used his celeb status and just a chill guy. He does what the people wants! Hopefully we see him land a huge role down the line!
