John Wick Deleted Scenes That Could Have Changed Everything

John Wick has become one of the most talked about and beloved action films in recent memory. Part of that is thanks to a great performance by Keanu Reeves, another is thanks to it’s jaw dropping action set pieces and world building. For all the intrigue and mystery around the world that John operates in, there is more to uncover thanks to these deleted scenes. John Wick is a man that gets things done, so there aren't as many deleted scenes as you might imagine. But what is there is enough to catch one’s interest, especially when you consider his pit stop in Rome.
What’s in Rome you might be asking? Well, during the events of Chapter 2, John actually makes a stop to the Vatican and we learn that the Pope, of all people, is part of the secret world that John Wick operates in. What’s more is that the nuns are totally in on it too! This is honestly, bonkers and we can understand why this was ultimately cut-it would have likely ruffled some feathers, but c’mon, how cool is that?
Some of these deleted scenes weren’t even filmed, which we know thanks to Mark Dacascos’s comments about some of this scenes from Parabellum. He was to have a scene he promised was very cool-perhaps we’ll learn more about it in John Wick 4? From there, it’s a confrontation between the hilariously named Santanio D’Antonio and John Lugiziamo’s Aurelio. The Italian villain of Chapter 2 is on the hunt for John and uses his friends and connections to try and hunt him down.
From there, it’s more Ian McShane, which let’s be honest-is never a bad thing. Winston is one of our favorite characters in the John Wick universe and any additional scenes with him is most welcome. An alternate ending is also available from John Wick Chapter 2 and we’re curious what you think of this version. Finally, we have our only deleted scene from the original film, which showcases that even a man like John Wick, with his particular set of skills, has quite the meditative hobby.

Pilot Boss just they way a few of the words are pronounced...emphasis on different vowels, etc. His accent is so slight, though, it’s hard to place it.

The deleted scene about his hobby should've stayed in because that really, really explained why he went to the library and how he easily took that book apart in part 3
I think one of the most hilarious things about the whole John Wick franchise is that it is still 2014. Not even a month has passed between the three films.

Mispronounced "garage", "Leguizamo", "Santino" (how many times?). Unloading a 'clip'? John never fires a World War II rifle. He shoots firearms that have magazines. Screen Rant, you can and should do better.

3:20 - I agree with this deleted scene most likely will be used in Chapter 4. I did read an article that some deleted scenes from Chapter 3 would be used in Chapter 4.
This is most likely why they didn't include them on the Blu-Ray because they realized they might use them.
I could see some of the other ones be used in flashbacks (possibly the Winston one, used when reflecting on his decision of shooting John).
I'd love to see a "Special Edition" version of the "John Wick" series. It could include ALL the "Deleted Scenes."

Keanu Reeves is very good at making choices when it comes to movies. I mean, Matrix is already a classic. and this John Wick is about to be, if not already is.
Matrix WOKE was a unmitigated disaster. Never to be sold seen or be mentioned ever again. Keanu failed his own franchise by saying "yes" to WOKE.
@@jaytomson7052 To be honest, everyone (even the people working on the movie) knew it was going to be a disaster. Like half the movie was literally the movie dissing itself. I'm pretty damn sure that the entire reason that that movie existed was just the producers slapping Warner Bros in the face and saying "This is not going to work you buffoon!"
@@gaminglichgamer4035 yeah, whichever Wachowski worked on it basically said the only reason they made the movie exists is because the execs wanted to make a whole rebooted trilogy that the Wachowski didn't want, and making this movie somehow prevented that from happening. She pretty much admitted the movie was intentionally bad so they could tank the series and make sure the reboot never happens.

any Ian McShain scene - he is such an excellent character in every movie he is in
I've always looked at Winston the Manager of the New York Continental more along the lines as a 'chapter master' of the Assassin's Guild, and he himself in his youth was the Boogeyman of his generation of killers. I think Winston had hopes to one day name John as the next manger, due to his strength of character, clarity of mind and deeper respect for the rules and traditions of the underworld, you see this in the few interactions John Wick has with older individuals in the films. I half expected a scene in third film showing a group of older gunmen and women sitting at table in the bar of the Continental not six feet from where John broke the house rules, as the younger shooters are scrambling to get after John's bounty, just playing cards and looking dismayed, saying things like 'bunch of eager dummies looking to make a name for themselves in one fell swoop' and 'the cleaners are going to be working overtime that's for sure.'
So am I the only one here who has enjoyed this dude’s opening remarks...the way he says that “POW POW POW”I literally can’t stop laughing..,..😂😂😂!!!I love it...

#3 is actually very important, as it shows the plans of DeAntonio. Take over and control of the underworlds "currency".....which can lead to "crashes" in their market.
It's evidence against DeAntonio and for John Wick. Evidence that could be used in Chapter 4 when John meets the high table. Something we've been teased about for 3 movies.
Why they cut it, I don't know.

The original title was "Scorn" but Keanu kept forgetting it and referring to the movie as just "John Wick" so they had to change it
As a former combat veteran....I can't tell you how much using the word, "clip" makes me cringe. John Wick never "unloaded an entire clip" into anyone. He never even, *the correct term* "mag dumped" into anyone. He was precise and accurate never wasting more than 2-3 shots per target.

Question: around 0:40, John load his gun and fired a shot. The gun seems to be equipped with a silencer. Would people see a clear visible yellow flame or should it be flameless?
My guess is, the silencer is a stealth device, it should keep the firing a low profile, that means the shot will be fired with not visible trait around the scene.
The after-effect guys might made a mistake here. Am I right?
