The doctor John Wick visits in the minutes leading up to his "excommunicado" status is actor Randall Duk Kim, who played The Keymaker in The Matrix Reloaded. I think the part where john put the revolver together was a throwback to Tucco from The Good, the bad and the ugly. Tucco put a revolver together and listened to the timing of the revolver clicks to make sure it worked. Anyone else on board with that theory?
I noticed that too! Though it's a good system to have anyway to familiarize with the weapon, but maybe it was a nod to the old western.
The director of the film said this was exactly what he was paying homage to. But yes in the theater I was whispering in my head "how much?...how much?....how much?" Lol. Fantastic

I'm convinced John Wick 4 is going to be a different kind of movie. Less a case of John murdering his way through hordes of bad guys and instead being an invisible assassin. At the end, when Winston remarks "Baba Yaga" I think that's the hint that John is going to go underground for the next film and instead of wholesale killing, it's going to be precise, targetted killings. Perhaps even starting with the adjudicator...

One hand loading 4 slugs into his shotgun during the continental attack.
Two shells each push but altogether 4 shells in one hand. That is a very difficult move, Keanu has definitely been putting in some time at the gun range.
its called speedloader its a common thing for shotguns used for fast reloads

Rob Rudd it’s not Winston mark. It’s the marker sabatino and wick had. Winston gave it to wick just like wick gave it to Sofia. The marker is done.

Was really impressed with this movie. The fight scenes were crazy good and if there were shaky cam scenes and excessive cutting, it was done so well that I don't really remember it. They remind me more of the fight scenes in On Bak, The Raid, or even the hallway scene in Daredevil on Netflix. Long single camera scenes with very few cuts or angle changes. AND NO SHAKY CAM. These guys could fight on camera oh so well.
did you notice that the dude from raid is one of guys he fights with before he gets to zero. he is a beast!! and i agree the fights scenes are great especially the one shot portions

7:35 i thought when they referred to the "Adjudicator ", everyone said "they" or "them" because the Adjudicator is just a speaker for The High Table, and when you refer to the Adjudicator, you're really just refering to The High Table. Just my thoughts.

Y’all over at screenrant are missing huge points of the tattoos man ... the tattoos on the dancer are all basically the same As John Wick.. the tattoos represent being brought up at the assassins schools all the kids have them and like John if they ever cash in their reward the tattoo serves the purpose of then being branded over again with a scolding rosery cross to mark that the debt has been paid

The value of the coins or currency at the Continental I think is related to the phrase:
"I have served, I shall be of service". I think this means each coin is a favor; whether you are a concierge, an assassin, a clerk or a cleaner you are bound to honour everyone´s "service". So if you get one coin and you get to a weapon´s store and you need guns you just pay with a coin, the other person is a weapon´s dealer, so he must be of service.

Jovocop The John Wick Chronicles. It's really a shooting gallery game in VR with three scenarios (parking garage, rooftop, yacht) and a training room. Still very cool and will leave you in a sweat.
The Black Window connection actually makes sense, her tumbles and take downs and fighting style is very similar to Wick's

What a triolgy this has been. Personally best in a decade or so. And with #3, im suprised no-one has mentioned the humour aspect to this movie too as well as ofcourse being such a great movie. On to #4, i cant wait.

Halle Berry was forced and she came off as more annoying and essentially stole the spotlight for no reason. However Common and Lawrence Fishbournes characters were awesome.

No mention on how the book Ernest puts back on the shelf right before he attacks John at the start of the movie is Dante's Inferno and the movie ends up following many of the same themes from that story.
My favorite part is when he shoots the one guy.

Wrong. His arch motorcycles which is the bike he helped create and sells were not in the movie. The arch bikes start at 50,000 each. And they do not look like the ones on screen.

Keanu Reeves is arguably the best action actor in the world. On par with Bruce Lee, Michelle Yeoh, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Arnie, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, etc.
9:41 Possible Spoiler: when I watched this movie Sofia mentioned didn't want to put her daughter in danger immediately thought the ballerina most like to be her daughter any else had the same feeling?
That may be where John took her to be protected.

Great Trilogy so far, but I love Chapter 2 best. They build upon the world of assassins and upon the John Wick myth, we get to see him kill with a pencil. That's how you build a franchise, great story, great characters and great storytelling.
You didn't mention the scene where John disassembles 4 guns and reassembles 1 gun with perfect movement. That was borrowed from "The Good, the bad, and the ugly".
