I just purchased my first inks. I have been watching videos for at least the last couple hours. Yours is the first one that makes me want to get started exploring the techniques you share! Thank you so much for sharing! Now I want to order more inks and the proper papers.
thank you very much for this video and these explanations 🙏🏻 luckily there are people like you to be kind enough to explain how to do it .... unfortunately this is not the case for everyone ... this is a shame because we do not all want to trade in it but just have a hobby that allows us to find pleasure or to get away from our problems... thank you for the time you take to do this and for your kindness 💗
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I just haven’t been able to do lines no matter how much I try and like someone else said all the videos are sped up and it’s impossible to work out what to actually do. I really appreciate you sharing your technique, most won’t do it without you paying for lessons. Thank you so much I will practice today. You are an excellent teacher ! 🙏🏻❤️😘
I'm so grateful for your videos! They are so clear and helpful! I like your calmness and how slowly and clearly explain the technique. 🙏🏻 The most of such videos are so sped up and frenetic and found myself doing this frenetic movements while all the IA scattere on the paper... haha 😀🤗💖
You’re welcome 😉 I’ve got a couple of videos with wispy stuff like this one ua-cam.com/video/fLBEwcf5Wqk/v-deo.html But I will definitely do more wispy videos
This was so helpful! Really pretty! I like one technique at I time because I can practice each one until I don’t have to think about it as much then add another technique etc. I waste so much less paper! I love your method and your goth paintings. 🌷
This is BRILLIANT! Thank you so much...I've been fiddling with ink for months, but I haven't concentrated on it. I've found out a few things by myself, but I appreciate this so much, because I've really fought with lines!
I just left a comment after watching part way thru. And UA-cam isn't letting me edit, so I'm leaving a 2nd one after watching all the way thru. Beautiful! Would never have thot o' doing that to create lines, or expanding the original to make larger, or adding different color(s). Very helpful demo & specific teaching comments. TY !!
Well THIS is too COOL!!! Love this idea. Never saw anything like this before. I'm new to alcohol ink, so this technique will be super USEFUL! Thank you for video. Austin,TX USA
hello! i just found your video and i love the technique! you mentioned previous videos so i am going to go in search of them. i also agree with your thoughts on one technique at a time, without having to make it into a card. just focusing on the technique. what a crazy thought! lol thank you so much and i'm so glad your video popped up on my home page. have a great day, week, month, etc...
Yay! I finally got some lines with alcohol inks! I’ve been practicing, but never go anywhere with this. Thank you for your thorough description and video. I think there is hope with me and these inks.😂
I just came across this vid & am new to alcohol inks. I find I often learn a lot by reading comments & replies & noticed you take the time to provide helpful answers & tips: Thks for doing that - it's a big help & much appreciated! Cuz of that, I'm a new subscriber to your posts.
Me too ! Most want you to pay to learn how to do anything. I have pretty much got the Roses, and I didn’t realise until I saw it it proper day light the brass was beautiful! You would think if I could manage a Roses I could do lines but nope….just lots of ink in one spot and little to no lines. So frustrating, but wow Randi you have given me hope too now ! I really appreciate you giving these little tutorials, it’s so very generous of you 💞💞💞
@@shaz8486 when making the lines it’s really all about getting the right amount of ink and alcohol. Mix some together, if the lines don’t appear the way you want them to, add either more ink or alcohol until you get clear lines 👍😊
I do really like the flower you accidently had going on in the beginning too. I've done a lot of alcohol inks in the last couple of months and that's a really cool technique getting ready to watch your how to make alcohol ink pedals with ripples this time. I was trying to send you a picture of what I just did while I was watching your video but I can't figure it out
I am new to this medium and finding it real hard to control the ink. M definitely going to try this technique. One question though, i have a 1000W dryer. Is it too much of a power? Is it why i am finding it hard to get these rings? Also i live in an extremely humid climate. That too has an adverse effect, right? Sorry too many questions! Hope they are answered!
Hi 👋 humidity and ink does not always work well together, sadly. Controlling the ink is really all about learning how you use your hairdryer. Mine is 1000 W too, but you can definitely make it work for you. At the end of this video ua-cam.com/video/QtVB5vXdu_Q/v-deo.html I try to demonstrate how to use the hairdryer- and how not to use it. About the rings, if they don’t appear you need to add either more alcohol or ink to the mix. It’s different also depending on what color you use. Hope it helps 😃
