- In this relaxing video I mute down Ranger's Sailboat Blue with Copic's Dark Grey to get a deep dark blue. I then flood with alcohol and Piñata Brass and blow out gold and blue waves.
This is a pretty good example of abstract alcohol ink art and also how to create some alcohol ink ripples, which can be very difficult for some beginners.

I bought this same heat gun. How do you get so close without warping the paper😢 In having this issue
Hi Christine, I use the low setting always and I try not to concentrate too much in one spot. The type of paper makes a huge difference too. I use grafix craft plastic I find it to be much more tolerant to heat. Nara papers are good for this too. They will still warp but it takes a lot longer than something like Yupo. Hope this helps!
