Hi Joy! Thanks so much! I get the bottles from Amazon they are called “precision tip bottles” I do have an affiliate link for the exact ones I purchased 50cc Precision Tip Bottles - amzn.to/3JVhPx4 hope that helps and thanks so much for watching!
This one reminds me of seashells! This is s technique I haven't seen before. You used alot of liquid on the paper and it looks like at some point it spilled off the paper onto your table. Did you have some sort of barrier to keep it from flowing too far? I'm getting some Jacquard alcohol inks delivered soon. Those are made with ethanol rather than Isopropal alcohol. Have you used those and if so do you notice any differences in how they work.
Hello! thanks for the comment. I'm planning to make a tutorial video on this technique... not sure what to call it yet though! LOL yes alcohol always spills off my paper when I flood like this, sometimes I'll use the blower to direct it back on the paper or else I just let leave it and wipe whatever is left after I'm done. I don't flood it so much that it goes too far ;) Yes I use the Jacquard Piñata inks all the time I like the vibrant colours they have and their metallic Brass is my go-to metallic. I don't find that they are too different from the Ranger inks I use, both are highly pigmented, and b/c they are dye based they dry very smooth. Unlike brands like Marabu where I find the pigment isn't fully incorporated in the alcohol so when it dries down there is some texture which I like to for different situations.
Absolutely gorgeous. I am slowly learning to maneuver the mixatives. Takes some practice! May I ask what you dryer speed and temp is? Thank you for sharing this gorgeous challenge!
Hi Paula! Thank you so much, yeah the mixatives are tricky cuz they all act so differently individually even between the different metallics so it definitely takes lots of practice. I purchased my heat tool from Amazon it’s called an Mlife mini heat gun, it gets up to 200 degrees Celsius and I use the low setting always. If they sold a blower that had no heat that would be best cuz the heat likes to warp the synthetic paper if you’re not careful. I try to move the heat around often to avoid paper warping. A hair dryer on a cool and low setting works too!
Hi Cathy, I’m using grafix craft plastic in this video, it still warps with high heat though so I just make sure to move the heat gun around often on low, thanks for watching 😃
Hiiii!! Absolutely gorgeous work!!! Liked and subscribed. I am having the toughest luck adding metallics, you have mastered it! Do you dilute your metallics prior to adding? Who's metallics do you prefer? Also, is this piece available for sale?
Hi Selena, Thanks for the question! I have a short video explaining how I dilute my metallics. My favorite is Pinata's "Brass" I use this 99% of the time lol ua-cam.com/users/shortsXtNmDXAGCn4 :) And yes this is available for sale. You can email me at Madeliene.art@gmail.com
Hi April, I usually flood the paper with alcohol then add and blend the inks on top. Sometimes I add inks first let them dry then blend with alcohol after for more control. I’m using Grafix Craft Plastic in this video 😃 thanks so much for watching 😊

@@MadelieneArt very helpful! Thank you so much 😊
Hi there This is gorgeous!!! What brand of paper did you use? I'm finding most brands buckle under the heat gun. Thank you!

Did you flood your paper with alcohol or mix with the ink? Also, what paper? Looks like Yupo?
