    The formats of these no-gi videos are so good. They're to the point and tightly edited while still having all the details you really need to understand the mechanics. I also really like that sound effect when the slow motion replay starts for some reason, seems to trigger my brain to pay more attention! Thanks for these.

    Neil is awesome. Im a big guy (220 lbs) and a life long wrestler so his stuff is right up my alley. I always fought with the techniques that work for Gi and No gI. I am currently working his half guard cradle smashing technique into anaconda and guillotine. Neil I'm so glad to see these vids from one wrestler to another man its great!!!

    Tony Cecchine showed this technique in his 90s video series "Catch wrestling". I've been using it ever since. Still works great on everyone. Especially bjj guys, since they're total novice when it comes to leg locks.

    • @Villanforsome
      @Villanforsome 6 років тому +6

      The best leg lockers in the world are BJJ guys, check your facts. Just because BJJ guys have different styles does not mean "they're total novice when it comes to leg locks."

    • @rye-bread5236
      @rye-bread5236 6 років тому +1

      @@Villanforsome Better than the specialist like sambist? I kind of doubt that. Bjj is choke heavy and catch wrestling is joint fuckery heavy. There's historical reasons for it too. Look into The channel DIDOS.

    • @robertw6546

      Yeah I was just gonna say that about Tony C!!! He's amazing

    • @graciederangementsyndrome3669
      @graciederangementsyndrome3669 6 років тому +1

      @@rye-bread5236 Then you're living under a rock and don't pay any attention to the meta scene. All the best leglock specialists are BJJ guys in the No-Gi submission events. Eddie Cummings leglocked Reily Bodycomb at Polaris and in Quintet, Team Polaris leglocked their way up against the Sambo team. As of now we see highly evolved leglock games and sequences being represented by BJJ guys.
      The distinction between BJJ and CACC's submissions is rather silly since it's like comparing BJJ's chokes and Aikido's wristlocks.
      DIDOS is not a reliable source for unbiased research. It's a pro CACC propaganda channel that mixes historical events with lies. The channel passes CACC off as a legit martial art despite the fact that CACC was primarily used for fixed matches. DIDOS seems to give the illusion of knowledge among it's viewers who are already driven by their anti-BJJ/Gracie confirmation bias.

    • @kallepikku4991
      @kallepikku4991 6 років тому +2

      @bandanavillain. You wrong. A small sect of Jiu-jitsu guys are doing leg locks (who btw. mostly come from wrestling backgrounds, like Rousimar Palhares, Dean Lister, Eddie Bravo, the whole DDS squad including the coach), a great majority aren't. And even that phenomenon is a new thing. I started grappling in the 90s. Back then and all the way to 2000s leg locks were universally considered a "dirty trick" in jiu jitsu circuits, not a real technique. It wasn't until pretty much 2010s and beyond when technically sound leg locks started to appear in jiu jitsu competitions. Perhaps you're too young to know this, kid.

    Great details!
    And I love a different method than just creating space with pushing on his abs and breaking the guard..
    The knee squeeze is very much the same motion as passing a triangle, using your knee on the belly twist..
    Thanks! Awesome stuff.

    • @roki977

      He is huge, very tall and heavy.. I like his game and it suits me up perfect and i am just shorter stocky guy with good base, ex. Judo. I am doing no-gi for a year or so, mostly with MMA people and some of his stuff i really like.. BJJ players still demolish me but MMA guys and wrestlers not so much and this kind of game works well as contra wretsling/MMA style..

      Are the metaru rashguards supposed to be sheer in the shoulders like that? I just got one and to be honest I was disappointed for that exact reason. I kind of think that should be in the product description or shown in the pictures of the product. Especially when I'm spending $70 on a rash guard.

    • @HayabusaInc
      @HayabusaInc  7 років тому +2

      Hi Rich, sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with this rash guard. It depends on your size and the rash guard size. Bigger guys may notice that on the shoulders if they require a larger size. Majority that we have tested and seen in action don't have that problem. With Neil being such a beast, the material may stretch as with any compression. I passed your comment onto our design team but if you want to chat more please email us at customerservice@hayabusafightwear.com.

    SHOULD DO FOOT TO THE FACE. I practice that foot to the nose and pin the guy down and also two feet face and push down and the guy stands right up and gets him and lastly squeeze the nose with the toes and push down can break his nose. In Asia I have seen this.Asians love to use skill. The feet are so powerful should be used more often but Americans are wussies afraid to be tough.This is a sport for those who want to win
