  • Neil shows a very unique setup to the triangle choke from the butterfly guard. If the triangle choke fails, Neil shows how to carry on and finish with either a shoulder lock or a spine lock.
The Ground Fighting Series was created by Neil Melanson the legendary head coach of champions. Neil has simple and easy to use ground fighting techniques that work wonders.

Oh my god, these Catch wrestling guys have the most innovative set-ups and locks in all submission grappling. I gotta try this next time I roll.

I sometimes get to this triangle from bottom half guard but then sometimes struggle to finish. This will hopefully change that and also a nice new setup from butterfly!

From that last position is there a reverse key lock a kimora type crank there as well you can do with one hand I seen judokas do it from sankaku jime I had a judo guy show me the way the put triangles on I'm judo its different to basic bjj triangle from your guard the do it as attack against turtle etc and crank the loose arm in a key lock type arc only using one hand on wrist etc cool video

If opponent pins their right elbow to their side, so you can't gather their arm with your right leg, they basically get a pass.

This is Catch wrestling mate, not bjj class.

    • @Specialistkay

@@kallepikku4991 Yet Catch wrestlers still can't win on the largest stages in grappling. If you can't do something with finesse slowly you can't do it with intensity properly.

    • @kallepikku4991

@@Specialistkay Who cares about grappling? LoL. Catch wrestlers all go to MMA, coz they get paid there.
Grappling is for scared kids who want to feel empowered without actually have any real fighting skills. Just a feel good "fighter". I mean comoon, most bjj players actually pay to compete. **face palm**
