Ray Stevens provided us with laughs and then more laughs. He was a riot and didn[t use one single swear word. And then he wrote Misty.......................what a tremendous talent!
Just the thing to bring a smile to anyone's face. Well written comic songs, my personal favourite has always been Bridget the midget, but all his songs are well written with just the right touch of comic verse, along with good music that helps to make them worth watching. Even when he sings serious song like everything is beautiful, or misty. His voice is suited to both serious and comic vocals.
We used to listen to this back with me, my siblings, and close cousins were kids. Always had a blast singing along with it but every single time we would purposefully sing nakey instead of lanky because we legitimately thought that's what the song said at first and when we were corrected, kept at it since it annoyed our Aunt 😁

I am 79.5 and not n best of health, didn't take care of it OR appreciate it when it was with me. 5 kids grown,n gone. 11 grandkids help raise,same grown n gone. 12 Great (Greatest) grandchildren.
