As I mentioned before, your life is eerily similar to mine (same age, ethical vegan, not traditionally employed, propensity to self-educate, analyze, and over train, serious underlying health issue) so I relate with your unusual lifestyle on a visceral level. Thanks again for your continued perspective.
Thanks Jon :) My running race trips are pretty spur of the moment now. At present, I don't really have any goals when it comes to running races. But perhaps in the future I'll be engaged in more races in eastern MA.
Turmeric? Great natural anti-inflammatory. We make our own capsules for pennies. As per Dr. Gregor, add a tiny amount of black pepper to aid absorption.
As long as the body is in the MRI tube, I have no problem. But when my head was in a helmet-like construction and inside the tube, I felt close to panicking at times, but decided to focus on breathing instead.
My mom had that oblation done decades ago. She said it was the best decision she made, but her tachycardia was triggered spontaneous without known trigger. Hope you find the right solution for yourself.
I've had it since I was a kid. But it's a bit more frequent now... and nearly caused me to drop out of all the races I entered in the 2022 World Ski Champs.
Freaky stuff on your heart. Prayin for you, bro! I'm currently in a long distance relationship too. We're together now, but I go home in 4 days. I'll be in the same boat as you, having to play catch-up with having a heavy heart. Already preparing for the double whammy while trying to enjoy the time we have left. I appreciate the 80% tip, but I think I'm just going to take 1 week completely off exercise, as my right shoulder has been on the fritz for some time now. #selfclarity 😂
How often do you see each other? I'll be going to Sweden in February. When I'm injured, I continue working in other planes of motion. There's always a body part that is fresh and ready to go.
@@runningraw We met on the vegan-friendly greensingles dating site in March, but due to our work schedules and distance, this is the first time we've met in person. Good point. Yes, maybe I'll just focus on cardio for a bit, to work off all the vacation weight I've gained 😬😅
Racing is a good way to test the results of training, and to advertise the results. At the end of the day, no one listens to what you have to say unless you have a public demonstration of what. your process makes available. But, racing is problematic :)
Proud of you

Sorry to hear you can relate :D
I hope your heart is ok. I wish I knew that you were going to be in MA. That race was about 15 miles from me. I would stopped by to say hi.
Thanks Jon :)

Love the views from the dash cam
When the humidity gets high, I just remind myself it’s good for the skin. Stay well TVO!
It's turning me into an amphibian :D

Turmeric is a regular addition to my salads.

An MRI is a pretty unnatural experience... but I'm glad we have access to them.

Maybe stop racing then, just exercise for general health ?

Probably doing too many pull-ups. Isometric exercises can cause an arrhythmia in some people.
