I did win a ham in a race a while back. Gave it to a friend.
He kind of contradicts himself then, doesn't he? If our brains take in all this information before taking a step/making a choice, that would include considering consequences to those crimes, so I think we have to take some responsibility for our actions vs. blaming them on a lack of free will. Further, if we tell ourselves we have no free will, we'll just let that be (another) excuse to engage in deviant behavior. Strange how he doesn't see this, and as such, if anything, promote _harsher_ punishments for breaking the law.
Yeah, it's a rather irresponsible message... but he would argue that he's not responsible ;)

The puzzle pieces never fit right until we realize we are created beings from a creator. God the creator of the universe gives us Freewill to do what we want. Once we realize we are made to worship and live for Him then we realize the truth. Jesus died for our sins so that when we come to him and ask for forgiveness for all of our sins He will forgive us and will change us. Doesn’t mean our lives will always look perfect because of Adam and Eve and sin filled world. God bless!
I agree. It helps to really meditate on the fact we were given this life. It's so easy to gloss over all the little and big things God gives us. The more we focus on them, and the less we focus on negative stuff that's out of our control, the more free our wills are (so to speak) to create a happier, more peaceful inner and outer world in Jesus' name.
