Awesome trail footage! Loved seeing some leaves fall right in front of the camera!
I really like how you call them coping sessions. It's more true and to the point than saying binging or indulging. And I'm with you, when I have a coping session, the food comas become less pleasurable and more gross feeling.

I think it's really important to be clear in how we describe things. It's empowering to see the mechanics of our behavior and call it what it is.

Might surprise you with my profile pic, but I agree with your points on atheist vs. believer. Most Christians upset me, because their morals are from a 2000 year old book. Of course, bringing up some biblical nonsense rules in my Sunday school class made me feel most unwelcome. Atheists have the freedom to evolve their moral book, generation after generation, which I feel gives them the high ground.
My profile pic is just a reminder to myself that my life and how people treat me could be far worse. It also reminds me not to try too hard with people anymore. "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do," which ties back into the lack of free will argument. It helps me to not feel obligated to spread veganism, politics, health, etc. to people anymore. I'm learning to leave other people to God.

Yep. Forgiveness begins with letting go of righteousness.
