I have the same dryer and it was making an awful noise. Due to travel my family called a repairman. He said it needed a new belt and two wheels. ( for clarity dryer 8YO and used with a family of 6). The cost with parts was $550.00, broken down, initial diagnosis, parts cost and then come back to fix. We initially considered buying a new one. I watched this video and another one on how to repair it. I ordered the parts of Amazon. The day before I moved the dryer to open space and took it apart. Took my time and labeled/numbered each step when I disassembled the dryer. The parts came on Sunday around 11:00AM. I also cleaned the entire inside of the dryer. I followed the this video and had no trouble installing the wheels and belt. To my time reversing my steps and reinstalled part by part and screw by screw. I then prayed to the laundry Gods and plugged it in. It was as quiet as a church mouse. 10 loads and no issues, knock on wood. Thank you for the video and some of the comments. I saved a lot of money too.
Thank you very much for appreciating this video tutorial, I’m so glad this video helped. 🙏🏻😊
Thank you uploading this video. My family appreciate your thorough instructions 😊
you're welcome! I'm glad it helped 😊
You were the only one with a video of my exact model from 13 years ago. I had a constant grrrrrr. ing sound from my Dryer, not a thumping. I took it apart using this video and a few others and found that there was simply a fabric softner sheet that somehow had gotten sucked into the impeller and was spinning with and against it. I didn't need to change the wheels, but thanks for the help in getting all of it apart to diagnose it!
Thank you I really appreciate you appreciating this video.. I'm glad it helped you guiding you with this video.

Very very creative mind sir
Thank you Sir!
I was getting the thump noise thinking my rollers were bad/flat spot. Thought my rollers were bad, nope. It was about a 2" crack in the drum close to the edge. Turn the drum, feel for the weld seam and press front and rear of the weld section edge, if it separates, you have a bad drum and need to replace it.
Galing ahh ..finish na
nice sharing sissy Mabel , hubby moyan ..galing naman
Iba talaga pag expert na
Thank you so much wow Fantastic directions step-by-step awesome.... You just save me $600.....
Hi host dan play all sa awesome technology.
Thank you host
Welcome
WARNING!!!!! If you try this now understand that most places (including LG) have replaced the original rollers with part 4581EL2002H. On these new ones you still have the 9/16" nut on the back but the stem is now something like a 3/8" hex, not 10mm. None of those suppliers mentions this. Otherwise, it was nice to find this since it matched my dryer setup unlike most of the other LG drum roller videos.
Done watching..
Almost done na
Wow ang galing nmn... Thanks for sharing po. Gusto q xang I try kasi lagi nasisira ang dryer namin dto. Sayang ang pambayad. Hehehe
Thanks! mas malaki talaga ang matitipid pag parts lang pinalitan. just be careful and be safe on replacing the parts.
Ang galing naman ng asawa mo sis. Makasave pa tayo. Big like.
Thanks!
That's funny I have almost identical LG appliances - got them from a neighbor. The shocks on the washer are worn I think and the drum rollers are noisy too. They are from 2012 so understandably they have some worn parts. I figure $200 or so for OEM parts but still cheaper than the $2300 or so dollars for new units :)
Exactly, once you replaced it with the new parts it will work like new and it last longer. Just don’t overload your dryer so that the roller can handle the drum right to it’s weight capacity 👍🏻
@@alwaysmabel The 10 year warrantee on the motor is a hint as to how long these LG motors will last!
I bought my LG year 2012 and the motor works perfectly fine. I hope the will not give in after 10 years because it's not going to be covered by the warranty by LG anymore. lol
Can you upload the amazon link for the part please? the link in your description is not longer valid
watching here sissy ganda regards alojas diary paharng narin
He makes it look easy. Go ahead try it, I dare ya. Lmaooo
Tama sissy , sayang naman kung di irepair kung maganda pa and may need lang palitan na part :)
wow thats a lot of screws for me to lose haha I like how you edited out putting the belt back on they are not that easy but I'm twice your size too
Believe me that's very easy to put the belt back. The drum looks heavy but it's not.
How did u remove the middle wire harness? (Red/pink). For the life of me, I don’t know where to press to release it. 2:35
yes, just like what I mentioned there's tab you pinch it in then use the flat screwdriver to push the harness out while you're pressing or pinchinh the locking tab.
Mahusay Gandang sideline Yan dagdag income sis ano.. tamsak n sis..
I did all the steps just fine but when I turned it back on there was power but I could not start it is what am I missing here.
There’s a door sensor switch that when there’s not contact it will not start.. try checking it unplug it then plug the wire harness again.
Hello watching here tamsak new friend
