It was a trivial thing. The "rider" needed content for his channel so he had to do something. Riding must be awful boring for these riders that have to create incidents for content. In the future I wonder what he will do when a driver decides to "punish" him for his reckless behavior.

The car turned right as the biker zipped through some turning cars that blocked his view from across the street.
He had to create drama for his little camera show.

@6:16 what did the car driver do to deserve the road rage from the motorcycle rider? The driver of the car making the left hand turn was well thru the intersection before the motorcycle approached. All the motorcycle rider had do was simply slow down, then make the right turn like a normal rider.

as a dutch guy spoiled with perfect tarmac / roads, It always surprises me how hard people ride on roads with all these tar snakes in 'm.

1:20 - Maintain your bike and that is a lot less likely to happen.
We don't know how old that thing is, or why it broke.
I've found brand new vehicles sometimes leak more than some that are 20 year old, that's clearly not maintenance related in those cases. So many things go from perfectly fine to "was working last week" in just a second. My bike is in pieces in my living room because one second it was going great redlining it for quite a while to suddenly not so great and making noises the next.
Clearly riding above his skill set.

This growing habit of riding with no rear view mirrors is inexplicable, but I guess it is part of the boy-racer image, which is just laughable.
I never understood it either. Sure bikes look cooler without mirrors but you lose so much awareness it’s not worth it.

Congratulations! I too didn't start until I was in my late 40s. Don't do like most these clips show, acting like they own the road.
Best advice: ride like you are invisible to all other drivers..
Barney Rides, all of us know why it happened- you're hitting the throttle when you tip into the corner. Don't ADD lean angle and throttle. You can add gentle throttle after you've tipped in.
If you're going to try keeping up with people who actually know how to ride, learn what you're doing first.
I had to run it at .75 speed to hear the engine change sounds, the pavement has a fair amount of cracks in it, which I'm sure didn't help.
If you look at his channel he's quite a skilled rider with lots of track time. He definitely wasn't riding outside his comfort zone. Judging by the liquid spray all over his bike it looks like the coolant system sprung a leak and I'm thinking anti-freeze got on his front tire and caused the loss of traction.
@@abikeanditsboy3449 Do you mean that watery stuff? I think that's just rain. I saw coolant spray on a bike once, and it looked very opaque, even on the plastic fairings.
Whatever it was, it was quick. No time for any warning if even just a little one. He really sounds surprised, as I was. Makes sense a lubricant somewhere. It don't take much.
@@dgphi - Except it wasn't raining. We would have seen that on the camera lens. That's why I'm thinking coolant. It's under pressure and could easily get on a tire.
Oh man forgetting to tighten the oil drain plug is the ultimate sin.... Shouldnt own a bike if you do that even just once lol. The guy who low sided on the turn... "there is nothing even slippery here his buddy says" That road is covered in tar strip repairs lol. Tar strips are slippery!
Extrasync might want to work on that upper body strength and slow down in traffic

Why do so many ignore tar snakes? They are a very dangerous road condition that takes riders down all the time. Yet these guys are like. Gee what happened.

Barney rides needs to have better body positioning and hold less lean angle through those bends.
Washing out the front end on a good smooth road surface like that is very bad form. Probably using countersteering through the whole bend, it keeps the bike at too much lean and puts the front wheel at less than perfect angle.
Guess you didnt see that the road was covered in Tar strips and he slipped out on one.
He accelerated way too early at too much of a lean angle trying to catch his mate. You're totally wrong about the counter steering, as that's how you turn into a corner, which is what he was attempting to do. That he didn't know why he dumped it doesn't bode well for Barney ...
@@ma3stro681 ... yeah he was carrying too much lean angle. Countersteering tilts the bike BEFORE the corner, then you should have neutral steering THROUGH the corner.
For the people, that have not done racecraft training, the way to tell if you have correct neutral steering mid corner is you take your hands off the bars so you can't countersteer, just leave one finger and thumb to keep the throttle turned but dont influence the bars with it. Most riders find they need to change a lot of their technique to be able to go hands-free mid corner. I can spot people that countersteer through the corner by lean angle and body position, it is very obvious once you know what to look for.

Shitty roads with shitty tar strip repairs are normal in the north. He slips out on a particularly large tar strip in the apex of his turn attempt. Had nothing to do with much else.
First guy should downgrade his bike to a less powerful bike and learn how to corner. He was wobbling from side to side totally off line as he approached the corner and even accelerated as he was running wide, instead of gently taking some speed off and tipping in more. Amazingly terrible riding ...
