The thing that catches my interest is that a lot of the bikers in the video do not keep a save following distance from cars in front of them...
That's why I play the game of did the biker do wrong, and what could I do to learn from it

Agreed, they are demonstrating some really BAD roadcraft.
If the car in front of you slows down then YOU should slow down too, even if you dont know why. At the very least it maintains your safe buffer zone, or it might just save your life if that car slams the brakes or turns.
Oh, I only come to these channels to learn how not be an asshole biker and learn on a rider-level what went wrong and how to learn from it.
I'm on my 2nd bike and both haven't seen any accidents thanks to so many people teaching me 'How not to drive a motorcycle'.
I actually stopped recording my own daily rides after seeing too many bikers completely neglecting factors of safety but pointing at their camera screaming at the top of their lungs: "I am recording... I will give it to the police".

A lot of drivers in general have no idea they are habitual tailgaters. Cuz they silly af

Agree completely! You can really start to get a sense of these situations and learn what to look out for. Its helped me realize a dangerous situation far before i would have otherwise.

I hate people who ride animals, but that was funny.
I am a motorcyclist, and my daughter is an equestrian. The gal reaching down and hitting the kill switch on the bike is the greatest thing I've seen in a while.

Was this guy only using the rear brake? That is some poor braking... A cruiser can stop faster than that.
Believe it or not, many cruiser riders think front brake is dangerous.

I don't understand how people get into that mindset... The rear brake sucks...
I used to know a guy who bought a gsxr 600 (he never rode before) and he only used the rear brake... I used to wonder why he took so long to slow down until I was looking at his bike one day and saw a completely blackened and blued rear brake rotor, and the front brakes were perfect.
He wouldn't listen when I told him to use mostly front... I can't remember the reason, but it was pretty dumb.
I always thought he was going to crash since he'd accelerate in a tight area and then take a scary long time to slow down.
"maybe it was some loose stones". Yes, that's the sounds loose gravel makes...
The first thing I try to teach a new rider is to PRACTICE BRAKING.
Front brakes only, get real good at braking hard and stopping in the MINIMUM DISTANCE with a lot of confidence. Over the years that one skill has saved my life over and over.
I would find it terrifying to ride with only the rear brake. How do people do it?
4:40 If you dont use 80% of your braking power, you should stay further away from other vehicles and dont tailgate them. Even if you are able to use your much more effective front brake, you should leave for yourself more space so you have more time to react. It doesnt matter that your rear brake locked. You should anticipate that.

Actually there are a lot of riders whodon't believe in using the front brake. Its sad. But when you have substandard training, that is what happens.

Lookie there, the rider at 4:40 screws up and nearly hit 3 vehicles and not a single one of them flipped him the bird or got out of their car and busted off one of his mirrors.

Looked like oil to me. Coolant is green and often has frothy edges on the road.

3:32 I don't know if they all knew each other, but if someone is sitting on your tail, you should just let them pass, and then they won't be tempted to do a risky overtake.
If someone’s on your tail during curves they’re an ass, easy enough to wait for a straight and pass there. Rider in front always has the right of way to take curves at their own pace.

It’s on you to pass safely and in control. If I see someone coming up on me I wave them thru, but I’m under no obligation to do so.

0:18 When you feel the tire go from grip to slip when accelerating in a corner, why give it more gas? I don't understand it, but I see this repeatedly in these compilation videos.
Twist throttles, trying to hold on to the bike by instinct as you feel it going out from underneath you and accidentally give it more beans

Thnx for the feature! Great video! But when i fell (the first clip) there was gravel in the middle of the turn and my rear tire slid so thats why i fell it wasn't really that slippery. Still great video! 👍🏼

These clips reinforce my 2 rules for surviving while riding a motorcycle: 1) Assume the cagers never see you; and, 2) Assume that IF they see you, they aim for you. I've survived for over 300K miles.
And never ride in a group.

You were out in Lane two all the time which generally is considered the over taking lane even on a duel carriageway traffic has to pass you on the inner lanes rules of road is to drive in lane 1 or inner most lane so you and your buds were in the wrong and motorist was well within their rights to call you a moron

Maybe it's the dirt rider in me but how do you not let off the throttle when the rear starts to come around in a corner? First guys revs didn't go down at all until his hands came off the bars. That's basic to me, rear comes out even a bit, I'm rolling off. You catch it early, you don't highside

It sucks, Dutch pavement is overall pretty well, you get used to that and debris / spills catch you therefor off-guard.

No, no, this is not normal and we are talking about roads in the Netherlands here. I have been driving for 14 years and the only time I experienced this was driving on an old motorcycle with expired worn out tyres...
Yeah I had almost the same thing a week ago in the country where he lives too, the salt on the road gives it a ''wax'' ish feel so it may look dry but isn't.

Can some explain why the horse rider kill switched that motorcycle? He wasn’t revving unnecessarily or causing the horse and discomfort. Good fun or just wtf ?

1st biker that slid down, looked like back tire was worn out..... Glad lane splitting is NOT LEGAL in US state where I live ! Think it's the most STUPID rule allowed ! If I still rode a motorcycle, I would NEVER try it ! Asking to get hurt or cause trouble !!!! Don't blame other drivers for your stupiidity ! Speeding thru city streets - your FAULT !!!
