Give him credit for not crashing into the front of a car that was doing it's best to get out of his way. Other than that, he made a complete mess of it.

It’s all in their whiny little bitch voices. Sure, the driver was out of line, but we don’t know what happened leading up to it. In my experience cars just don’t try and run bikes off the road. But I live Down Under, and folks generally aren’t insane like in the USA … 🤡😵💀
9:36 Dont know the motorcycle laws in NYC? Why are you on the side of a car in a single lane? Why are you riding on the wrong side of the road? Get behind that car on either side of him/her. Single line no filtering allowed.

02:27 4th clip. If that car tapped the horn to pass, could have been peaceful. Those riders are kinda slow so they should be on the right lane. As far as I know, left lane should be faster and for those wish to overtake.

Still no reason to try running them of the road. They might have been unaware. The car driver was the entitled one. Very bulling attitude. It's not like they were stunting!. Slow drivers/riders in the left lane all the time. It's an annoyance, not an offence that deserves a death sentence!.

I have seen all of these and many more in my lifetime of riding. Nothing you can do about the random deer (yep, got me once too...as it will you with enough miles), but quite a few of these are squids riding beyond their skill level. Ride like a nob and you'll die.... Nice way to end this video though! Props to all involved!

Right away you heard it.... "I did not see you". This is the case more often than not & they see less of you if you're going faster
than the other traffic. Like going 30mph or more from behind them.... No way they can look back to know where you're going

Hey there! I am the rider in the clip. When this was filmed, there was construction work going on in the bicycle/moped lane, so bicycles and mopeds (I was riding a moped) were forced/allowed to use the bus/taxi lane. The clip has been edited a little but I went back onto the bicycle/moped lane a little after the clip ends! I hope that clears it up for you :)

The rider in the first clip chose a very tight line around that truck, it looks as if he was aiming for his front bumper even if the truck wasn't moving. It may not be his fault, but a wider turn would probably have saved him.
I like how a lot of videos come in only when someone else is doing something wrong. Bet you most of the bikers are the ones who start things and only post the clip of people reacting to what they've done.

Hi, about the CASPER thing, is it an US thing to shout and blame others that they want to kill other when your biking in the blindspot? An other comment says that casper was way to fast just to keep up and ride beside the car. My first thoughts were as the usual action smashing his mirror, his driverside glass or dent the car. But no, instead to led him go they start argument and ask to fight. I dont know what to say about this. Maybe you can talk calmly because nothing really hapened and no one got hurt. It already hapened to me that i nearly got t-boned on a country road me riding nearly at allowed speed limit and with a look not just to your front wheel but way further to figure out what might hapen. And i was right short before reaching the T the car pulles out. I could avoid an accidend and of course i was pissed but nothing happened . You are full of adrenalin but you can explain your view to the situation with a low voice. Or is it that you can easily buy a drivers licence and a bike and do whatever you want and then you get in trouble without any reason and blame others for your unexpierienced non/not existenced(?) driving skills? Why are us bikers so angry? I know in scandinavian countrys the police has to stop you which is difficult special in cities. Every time these videos pop up i got a little bit nervous, but to this day i thought moto stars was the best of these channels and the comments were really serious and down to earth pointing out the bad behavior of bikers. I dont think anyone wants to kill bikers but bikers seem that they dont care about other. Here in Germany we have this situation with cyclers who want to rule the world and give their mindset to everyone else and also shout in every situation that they wont be killed by anyone else but then dont take care to anyone else. Oh i forgot about the offer to fight than they often PLAYING DUMB and when it seems they loose they cry for police. And than bikers leave/flee from the scene making stupid comments about the others to themselves to prove theyve done ok. Stupid world!
Casper, before escalating you asked "What did I miss?" Look again, you missed the rider in front of you blocking the passing lane while not passing.
That's NOT a reason to run him off the road. The car driver safely got around him and made the pass. He was closer than I'd like him to be, but safe about it. Then he showed you how to clear out of the passing lane when you're not passing. Up to then he was not targeting anybody. He was showing you the right way to get along with people in traffic.
Once the bike starts using the shoulder and acting like he's going to scrape the car with his gloves, he's triggered. He over-reacts way too much, he's wrong, it's not legal to use deadly force to protect property. Then you're right to be triggered and angry, but know the first aggressive move was clearly from your friend.
Then you ask the driver many times what the rider did, and kept cutting him off not letting him answer. If you don't want an answer, don't ask a question. It's hard to calm down when you fear for a friend's life, but in the end the driver learned nothing, and your friend learned nothing about how to avoid this in the first place.
It would be so simple in this case, Don't block traffic. Room to pull over while he was behind, room to pass and then pull over. Room to go faster and stay away from both cars. There were many ways to not be in this situation.

It's probably a coincidence, but I've been noticing that whenever riders are getting in trouble because they missed oncoming traffic, often times the center lines on the road are solid at that point. Think I'm going to try not overtaking whenever I see solid lines, just to be sure.

Agreed. Imagine you running someone over just because you felt like they were "a bad driver". Now imagine you actually did it, and the cops were called and you now have to explaining why you ran over some people on a motorcycle and how that was somehow justified.

Motorcycles are permitted to use carpool lanes under federal law. IDK, maybe going slow or just leaving stopping distance. Either way, best to just let faster traffic go by.

The A Pillar and BIG mirrors are causing this type of thing. I have had a few close calls while driving my SUV COULD NOT see the vehicle it was not even small like a motorcycle. People don't realize how much of a blind spot that is there until this happens.

In the first wreck the rider should have slowed down and motioned to the truck to go ahead and turn. I do this all the time as it is safer. The truck was already too far out from the corner so it made the bikers turn more difficult at the outset and then boom because the guy in the truck didn't look for a motorcycle at all. Basically what I'm saying is that it's safer to be courteous.
At 3:00 I have no reason to believe Casper was totally innocent. He escalated the situation when he didn't need to. You should not screw around with old men. They do reach an age where they may absolutely not care as evidenced by the shooting down in Mexico when idiots blocked a major road. Life in prison at age 75 when you may already have cancer is no big deal.

Definite possibility. And also I'm not sure why the rider chose such a tight line to cut that corner in front of the truck. Even if the truck didn't move, he would have been extremely close to it. Not blaming the rider here, but just questioning that odd turn choice.

@@lonelybikr Exactly. Clearly visible that the crashed biker was being attended to, so there's no need whatsoever for more people to stop. Not only would they create a hazard, they would also unnecessarily block the road with a long queue making it more difficult for an ambulance (if needed) to reach the scene.
