- This video is part of my Devil Mythic Path ascension playthrough. This is based on a poll conducted on my channel and it's also the reason I am playing as Isaac from Castlevania. My party will be Seelah, Wenduag, Daeran, Regill, and Nenio. Over time I will release builds for all of them. I plan to romance Wenduag and achieve soul mate status with her. I have never done that nor have I achieved ascension as a Devil so some of this will be new to me. I also haven't done a full playthrough of the game in years so please bare with me. :)

My demon playthrough has stopped me 2 TIMES, one I got an error which didn't let me go into shamiras place and the second time I had just finished act 2 bur I didn't want to miss any act 1 and act 2 changes..... so time to start my third playthrough.😂

Deskari's appearance in the prologue does a great job of establishing the stakes in a visible manner. If people don't know the setting, they might not necessarily know who Deskari is or how dangerous a demon lord is. Everybody knows what a freaking dragon is, though, so one-shotting her in that abrupt and visceral a manner sets up the power scale in play immediately.

I don't know what the rules about spoilers are at this point, but I was surprised when it was revealed who and what actually healed me here. I also wanna say, I like how you narrate things. It's appreciated. I hope we get enough traction for the series to continue.

Want to leave a comment saying I've really wanted to find an actual LP with the new DLC and not just build content which has turned out impossible. Individual build guides are good, but they don't really give you any sense of how they play in game pre Act 4/5 and with companion synergy (or lack of). Understandable that the hours put in/views received ratio is absolute ass and your honesty about it is refreshing, so it is appreciated.

This game is the first one I've ever played that had me meticulously planning out my character and the build path to such a high degree. I absolutely love it and I'm playing alongside your vids.

Man so glad I stayed home today! I’ve been trying out the Mantis on Unfair and it’s INSANE even on high difficulty. You’re going to have a blast with him. Starts out slow, but gets really good!

Always a pleasure to watch your stuff! I'll always watch no matter what support you get. The only thing I really did different was side with Lann; for Shadowheart, the sword is merely a tool that can gain her the numbers to gain freedom. Even Wenduag's experience doesn't assuage her of the fact she knows nothing of the maze's dangers, and any sort of divine power seems more useful than an angry spider cat that's harboring a grudge.
That reasoning makes sense. LOL

@SlanderedGaming I'm currently having a good time. Maybe that'll change when I actually do the story and fight the main bosses lol. But I've explored so much I've opened parts of extended map fighting world/mini dungeon bosses. Found some crazy lore too

Hey man, first time comment but I've watched pretty much all your playthroughs. IDK if you noticed but you get 2 Sawtooth Sabers and sold to mongrel vendor. In any case, can't wait to check out the new Devil Options, starting my own playthrough as well.

I have no intentions of watching a non-Unfair build that is very unoptimized as well, because there is nothing I can learn from it BUT I will still leave you a like. People should be doing what they want, and if this is what you like to do then so be it.
As for me I am still thinking about booting up a Devil run again BUT I dont think there is a build that can work besides Azata Hellfire caster, which I have done... well atleast 3 times by now. Perhaps a week later when I come back for the finale of this series I would see sth that would spark my interests? Who knows? Guess we will have to see later :))

The first time I ever played wotr, I went Devil, so I guess there is a special place in my heart for it. I went Aeon too, and unfortunately I couldn't get any romances by the end of it, although I was courting Camilla throughout it. Eventually she got too concerned by my Aeonness, even though I was pretty obviously a corrupt Aeon in that I was being self serving (although I guess I kept on choosing the Lawful choices). I didn't choose Wendaug at the start so I was stuck with Lann although I thought he was pretty comical. Unfortunately, I was not evil enough for evil Arushalae, and I thought for sure that making her evil would make her susceptible to pursue a romance.
I am looking forward to seeing whether there are more options for an Aeon devil now, especially since we can apparently turn Galfroy evil now.
This is making me want to do another playthrough... and I don't have time. ;-) I can tell there is a lot of new voiceacting.

FYI you can't use the Flying Attack on the hippogriff to open a fight, it's an in combat only ability.
Yup I forgot about that. Still an awesome ability though.
@SlanderedGaming I have half my current team on the hippogriffs and it's pretty fun lol
I'll echo the hopes that this LP does well I quite enjoyed RT and was disappointed it didn't get enough love but that's life. However long this lasts I'm glad to be back to Pathfinder!

I finally made it to chapter 4 today but i am a bit disappointed that a bug kept me from finishing Regal quest so i am thinking about starting over and hopefully the angler of vices wont run threw a wall this time

my mantis zealot will be a swarm i think it fits more lorewise
Mantis Zealot is VERY difficult to use with Swarm because your clones all have to have separate pairs of Sabers. There's just not enough gear to go around.

i would very much enjoy and highlight of all devil unique situation you can encounter in the game, dialogues and scenes, because is the last one i have to play and i dont want to replay the game anymore, so if you are searching for a tip for new contents... eheh

I wanted to like the sable marine, but the Griffin is just too big for my taste.
LOL Yeah I can understand. It's definitely rough to get around. We'll see how annoying it becomes as the game progresses.
I don't understand the dex focus instead of strength. So many more feats required, can't dual wield or use a shield with slashing grace. And it is so much easier to pump up strength through size enhancements. Enlarge Person and Legendary Proportions are great for adding strength and reach. Extra reach allows you to avoid a lot of hits, and opportunity attacks.
The original plan was to use a one handed weapon with a shield. Long term I'll be dual wielding which requires high dexterity.
@@SlanderedGaming Just remember slashing grace won't work. Looks like a cool sub class though.

Had a lot of hopes for great video, but high mod usage makes this kinda worthless to watch, you can just type "I win" anyway
High mod usage? I am respeccing the party members and that's the only mods I use. Also it's specifically so I can put the new archetypes on them which was a request from the channel. There is no "I win" button there but by all means watch what you prefer.
@@SlanderedGaming Respeccing party members is really immersion breaking, at least for me, now every time companion speeks from his class perspective (especialy hard on Seelah) you get cognitive dissonance. If playthrough was based on powerbuild testing it ws totaly fine, but playthrough is about testing new devil path options, so a bit story based. Just my 5 cents
I also restarted the campaign, made a half-orc chelaxian diva who follows asmodeus. But I just got to the inn and already felt burned out on the gameplay. Maybe the character just didn't feel right. Not sure.
Honestly I am not a big fan of Bard so couldn't imagine going Chelaxian Diva.
@@SlanderedGaming normally me neither. But it felt fitting for a deviil playthrough. A bard seems like a way better courtroom player and wordsmith than I imagine other classess would be as a devil.
Think the issue is that I'm not looking forward to the gameplay up until the change into a devil. Have played aeon too many times already and somehow my brain won't really allow me to commit to a fallen azata run. Just can't imagine an intelligent azata just trusting the word of someone who constantly tries to have you put limits on other people. Can't imagine a knight commander being power hungry and desperate for having as much control as possible and then choose to follow the Azata path. A real shame it isn't one of the main mythic paths. Maybe I could try a very low intelligence and wisdom azata, but wouldn't that just turn you into a drooling devil that will be outplayed by all of his peers? Those type of people feel more like demons to me. yay for overthinking everything I gues.
