I love that there's an option to do something so disgusting that even the evil characters are like 'come on dude, really?'. Bonus points if you get the fulsome queen buff too
I normally dont love evil playthroughs in RPGs but going Azata to Swarm was incredible fun to roleplay. It was such an incredibly satisfying descent from a paragon of unconditional goodness into a omnicidal hate-filled monster. The hardest moment was being confronted by the crew later on and hearing Ember's last heartfelt plea. Killing that last vestige of humanity that wanted to send Ember away and consuming her instead was truly horrifying yet incredibly narritively satisfying. That instant was the moment the commander finally well and truly died, and all that was left was the swarm. Plus I got to eat that annoying dragon. 🎉
fun fact, corrupted arueshalae is the only one of your companions that you can interact with after taking the swarm path, she will make some comments about your horrible appearance and that you were quite handsome before, of course if you ask her to join your group she will reject you and attack as if you were on a good mythic path
Man this is the darkest path you can take even the lich and the demon can have nuance to some degree but the swarm is just dead to all pathfinder really is brave to let you take this path I love it
Nice video. Can you please tell me where you got that portrait? I really want to use that one for the future... Please tell me that you know where to get it...
I find very sad that Swarm that Walks path is available for only one act in the game, that you can not properly taste such path to the fullest. It is kinda interesting path to take - turning yourself into such abomination and just devour everything on the path. I hope one day there will be mod which will make Swarm path somewhat accesible from act 3 onward just to have fun being this dangerous all-devouring flow more than couple of hours of final act
As a character, I totally blame it on an experiment gone wrong. 🥸 As a player, Curiosity and too much time spent playing this game led me to this. (also steam achievement)
>choose Evil option
>makes Ember cry
>reload save

4:40 I love how Nenio is the only one unhinged enough to not only not feel fear or revulsion, but even been thrilled about it.
And yet even Camellia thinks you're a monster.
@@Skyte100 Camelia may be a monster, but she's also a posh snob.
Decent bug spray would solve all of this.
We're gonna need a bigger fumigator...
Greybor complaining that he should have thought about this for his contract was the funniest part.
5:20 best writing ever.
ive seen better :T and the companions are forgettable :T
"You are heinous." says the cannibal serial killer xD
Her objection is that you're ugly, I think.
The moment when even Camellia is disgusted, and you can't even argue with her.
She has to keep up appearances. Bet she just doesn't get horny at the thought of being devoured herself.
@@Akaritomi it's really easy to tell when she is lying
@janisir4529
I just hate how she treats Ember and Lann. I find it extremely difficult to not smash her melon on the basement.

"Your just a mortal insect who bit off more than they could chew."
"_Insect?_ I guess you could say that."
Very poor choice of last words

I love how the swarm theme sounds like buzzing insects in the background
I love how Nenios only reason for leaving is she thinks you were killed.

This gave me emotional damage.
I need to replay this game for this...
Yep, I could never do this path. Just amber and Lenn.. my heart breaks
Nice video.

i love how wolfie was the only one that could actually tell that you didnt acutally fully died

TL;DR: The same thing that happened with Arthas accepted the sword and became the Lich King.
How evil do you have to be to choose this path? Personally, I will never, under any circumstances, choose it.
As a character, I totally blame it on an experiment gone wrong. 🥸

weak
not that evil. coolest path btw
Some versions of Lich are even worse. This one at least does not enslave souls.
What's the name of your weapon and where did u get it
Second Chance (Elven Curved Blade)
Dropped in the last part of the questline Kaylessa vs Forn, but only if you siding with Kaylessa.
Is this something that you can do at the start of your playthrought?
No, you get this at the beginning of act 5, so you are already like 80-90% into the game.
