The music is in the description. The music is almost always in the description. CHECK THE DESCRIPTION PLS. I got so many comments last time asking for the music which was in the description.
So after doing the first one, I got a ton of comments saying "what about ______" or "you forgot ________". So I took some of those suggestions and talked about them here :)
Also, are you guys cool with me talking about sitcoms like Full House? I watched a lot of them on Nick at Night when I was younger so I thought it was fitting :3
blameitonjorge it's Persona 5
blameitonjorge what is the music used in the the 20 saddest moments in kid shows video please
Hey Jorge, John Lennon actually died in 1980, not 1981.
blameitonjorge Thanks for another video of top 10 kids show episodes that dealt with serious issues. I liked it a lot:)
blameitonjorge yeah i'm cool with sitcoms :D
Mr. Rogers got straight to the point
have you ever seen two adults get married and then get a divorce?
If only it was that easy now
@@ghosttoast2 if only
AnarkyPlayz YT it was really hard to look them in the eyes again 😂
@AnarkyPlayz YT now let’s talk about the birds and the bees kids..
Me : "yes my parents, why?"
Mr. Rogers talked about a lot of issues. Physical and mental disability, divorce, death, child abuse, and even racism.
Holy that's cold
@@srxberryxmilk1393: Not necessarily. The topics in general are always cold, but he always managed to address these issues that don't make it completely inappropriate for kids. It's like how Mr. Rogers gave a warning at the beginning of one episode where he addresses violence and shootings, which was made after the murder of John Lennon. It's also huge shame that a lot of kids shows now don't take as much risks like they once did.
That Filthy Weeaboo someone we could use in today’s world

I only gave this post a like due to the Neptunia profile pic.

Mr. Rogers was literally a Angel, sent by God to make Children happy.
But reminded us that nothing is forever, not even guardian angels

To make everyone happy. I grew up with Mr. Rogers. Watching this made me cry. :)
I freaking love mr Rogers
AceColtonCook very true

"You were talking about his KIND, that's all."
Such a hard-hitting line right there

His philosophy of unconditional love would be considered "enabling the enemy" on either side.
Fox News once did a piece accusing Mr. Rogers of "promoting narcissism" and I could see MSNBC accusing Mr. Rogers or "promoting fascism" or something.
If I ever have kids, their gonna watch Mr. Rogers. I didn’t know who he was and never watched him but man looking back I wish I did.
Well i did grew up watching him..and all i can say is that he does leave a good impression on you in one way or another..hes a Very postive influence for children and adults so yes that is a great idea i support.
Don Herbert/Mr Wizard and Paul Zaloom/Beakman are great too for science stuff, if you can find'em
Interesting thing, but if you look up Beakman on UA-cam, you'll see his show never really ended, but instead he's run around South America the past decade doing it *for free* in the most poverty stricken regions across the continent. Now *that's* dedication!
I grew up watching him but I don’t remember much about his show since I was born in 2002, I was very young when it still aired. But from what I see here and what I remember, I’ll be showing his show to my kids as well.
Autumn Faraci on his birthday, my third grade teacher was so awesome,we watched it for an entire day! You definitely should! There are some more dark ones though! You gotta watch them with yer kids if you have any! It’s really cool! You’d be a cool parent!

When I was in elementary school, there was a kid with autism in my daycare. I asked the adults why he acted the way he did, and they told me he was autistic. Of course, being young and not knowing a lot, I thought they meant "artistic." I remember most kids making fun of him or talking about him negatively behind his back, but even as a kid, I knew better. I feel bad for never acting up sooner and standing up for the poor kid. That is why I think it is important to teach children about autism, and more than just that.
God freakin bless you. I'm an autistic girl. I just cried at this. Good for you
Exactly! It'll definitely help future autistics to not get bullied so often and help kids with little knowledge to better understand those kids who preoccupy themselves!

Tarlo The Boar he is
Goldshire Guy Mr Rodgers never served in the military. All those rumors of him being a sniper in Korea are false.
I never watched Mr Rogers as a child but I'm glad a lot of people did because he seems like such a kind and considerate person. He's one of those people who'll listen to your problems and help you in the correct way and seems to word things correctly. He must've been such an inspiraton... rest in peace x
He really was. I was old enough when he passed - I'd just turned 12 - to know that he was a real person. I knew that he wasn't just reading from a script in each episode when he spoke to us directly. He meant every word from the bottom of his heart. Coming from a split family where I sometimes felt like little more than a bargaining chip, it meant a lot to me to hear his closing lines every day. I learned a lot from him, we all did, and he cared about each an every one of us, even those he never met.
Then, one Saturday evening at my grandparents' house, Mom-mom mentioned during dinner that Fred Rogers had passed away. I cried until I ran out of tears, but my father told me that the best way I could remember him would be to follow his example. I haven't always done a good job, but I try my best.

This is why these shows came a long way. Especially Sesame Street, It touched me because my brother is Autistic, and people don't understand how hard it is for people with autism especially when society is making a joke of it.
She's Kinkz i have autism and the fidget spinners are autistic joke is just stupid in my opinion even though i have autism i still think fidget spiners are the dumbest things ever also people think your stupid if your autistic even though asbergers (witch is a type of autism) makes you kind of smarter! btw if you want to know im smart ill quiz you're
Younger sister has autism and its bad enough to the point where she is nonverbal, she usually would just melt down whenever she doesn't get her way, and she mostly talks through very short phrases. Very hard to understand watching that one episode right after this comment is finshed

She's Kinkz been doing that her birthday was just yesterday, plus my music teacher also has a child with autism, i'm learning more about it

I never watched Mr Rogers but he seems like one of the sweetest and nicest men that ever lived
TheDeniableToast He was. He absolutely was.
Bri Yoshi First of all, he said ONE OF. Meaning more than a single person.
Second, we KNOW Mr. Rogers lived; there's no absolute proof Jesus did.
He was a true saint and a god amongst men.
only in a few minutes of seeing rogers from a video just warmed my heart and i actually cried a little when i knew he died ;-;
dawnieangel76 actually Jesus was a real person. There's a census from ancient Rome on the population of then Judea (modern-day Israel) that has a Jesus of Nazareth whom was born in Bethlehem around the same time that he was said to have lived. So even though you may not believe in Christian beliefs, the man himself WAS actually a real person.
Don’t forget Stevens trauma, amethyst’s low self esteem, pearl’s obsession with pink
ose, garnet’s dependence, white being a perfectionist, blue making everyone feel her pain, yellow trying to move on from pink, pink’s abuse from the diamonds, spinel being abandoned, lars wanting to fit in with the cool kids, Sadie and Lars, the off colors, and that’s all I could think of for Steven universe rn

Can we just talk about how all of these shows except Steven Universe and the newer episode of Sesame Street are pretty old.
Not many recent shows for children talk about these important matters because some people get really offended about shows talking about this stuff.
Even though it should be recognized or at least brought to kids attention a little bit.

In the last six years or so I think there’s only been two shows in Disney that really teach important stuff.
People forget that for children everything is learning, nothing can be just entertainment.

idk, I always felt it was a bit out of place. for most of the series they were good friends, and then they kinda shoehorned it into the final
Missvampire 16 SU did a bad job in explaining issues because of the producer’s tunnel vision
I think kids still need to be taught how to be safe on the web. People are getting too comfortable and risky with it by just handing their kids a tablet or phone and let them do what they want, and not explaining the dangers to them.
I remember my parents were scared about me having a myspace when I was 16, and now it's the total opposite with parents now. They don't have that fear anymore.
I remember when my older brother got punished for over a month by our parents after he posted a profile picture of him on his MySpace holding a fake rifle that was found in our storage room in the basement of the apartment. At the time in 2008, he was 14, I was 12, and he asked me at the time to help him take the picture for him. Luckily, I didn’t get into trouble because they knew that it was not my fault and didn’t know what I was doing. Facebook, Twitter, and UA-cam were in its early years and given that I was a bit young to have my own social media accounts around 2007/2008, I didn’t have to deal with those precautions.
It’s crazy as to how much social media has changed within the past 10-15 years and how kids are getting younger and younger when using social media without knowing the precautions behind them.
Yes! We grew up on it, we were the guinea pigs, theres a lot that can be learnt and taught.
My mom knows I'm fine on the internet, I don't do much.
Probably because you're old enough to know that stuff and look out for yourself.

“A gem fuse against their will”
“(Jasper) begins inflicting the same unwanted fusion on other gems”
I’ve never seen Steven Universe but that definitely seems to be a lot darker than just gem fusing, especially when you said it can resemble sexual intimacy.
Yeah. Jasper pretty much became obsessive and toxic (even for a villain) as for (I’m assuming you are implying rape) kinda. More a Stockholm syndrome type thing but you can interpret it as either tbh
R*pe in a nutshell!
Another really good metaphor is Sardonyx, the fusion between Garnet and Pearl. She continued to cause problems just to fuse with garnet, alluding to manipulation to have intercourse. Usually more than 2 arms on a fusion show that the fusion is unstable, unlike fusions such as Garnet and Stevonnie. What other fusions have more than four arms? Opal and Malachite, which both gems that fuse to make it have an unstable relationship. If Garnet wasn’t under control from pearl to make sardonyx every time they fuse, it would have 2 arms.
Fusion represents different kinds of relationships, not necessarily sexual. This includes platonic, romantic, and even toxic relationships.
I'm surprised you didn't cover the episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog where a Cat girl is worried about her friend, Bunny. It's found out that the Bunny girl is being physically abused by her Dog boyfriend. Courage eventually helps deal with the Dog, and the Cat and Bunny run off together, happy and safe. It was also implied that the Cat has deeper feelings for her friend.
Also, wasn't there another family sitcom episode that dealt with pedophiles but in another way that wasn't so obvious? Some guy having a bike or something?

Mr Rogers was a massive influence on many children’s life, you couldn’t say a negative thing about him. Now if you contrast the biggest influencers on young people today (for example Logan Paul) you see that although most children have learned mr Rogers teachings because of their parents, they are being influenced by these young men who don’t have the same life experience as they should be to give advice to an entire generation.

“There are no rules saying that I can’t join the football team. But, there are many rules that you cannot call me ‘baby doll’.”
YASSS GIRL GET IT!!
Cristina Renteria ikr
Deathcoldan
Yes, exactly. I support gender rights, but a girl cannot play on a male dominated football team. Females are not as strong as males. That's what people do not understand. If a coach says she can't play on a team, it doesn't necessarily mean it's primarily because she's a girl. It's the down sides to being a girl, which is a lack of physical strength. This is why male and female sports teams are separated.
Dante Sparda that can be true. A woman can be incredibly strong and smart, don't get me wrong. But, if a girl who isn't as strong as a guy is on the field, she could seriously hurt herself.
+Cristina Renteria Me!!!!
Well, besides the fact that I don't play football,
Dante Sparda well women realize that many men are stronger then them and they can get hurt but they ARE ABLE to work hard and get stronger so they don’t get as hurt and if they do get hurt too bad so sad! They can deal with the pain. it is ENTIRELY possible for females to play with males on a sports team.
Mr Rogers says the harsher things but in nicer ways.
"Some people can be so *sick-* "

"Alone At Sea" was pretty good because it shows the overlooked reality that, sometimes, two people can both be abusive to one another, not just one person inside a toxic relationship.
I thought it was pretty explicit that Lapis was terrible to Jasper
Umm...no. They can both be toxic, but "mutual abuse" doesn't exist. It's not a thing that can happen with interpersonal dynamics. Abusive dynamics revolve around a power imbalance that CANNOT change hands.
You are incredibly mistaken if you think a victim lashing out makes them just as bad as their abuser. Lashing out is not abuse, but is instead a response to it.
it's like the MrDeadMoth situation.
And it covered the topic of consensual sexual intimacy in a way that is appropriate for children and in a way that they can understand by using the fictional world of the show itself. Rebecca Sugar is a genius.
People ask "Does mr. Roger's ever get angry?"
*OF COURSE I DO.*
Bevvie Beep I comment almost the same thing

He definitely does. He just doesn't necessarily show it. There's nothing saying you have to scream and shout and hit and bite and kick when you're angry. We usually teach very young children to not do those things when angry. Apparently a lot of people these days have the emotional intelligence of toddlers.
He said he was very angry when the KKK used his voice to recruit people. He wasn't screaming or hitting but you knew he was angry.
You hit me right in the feels with that Mr. Rodgers ending. I really wish there was a show like that for kids now a day. Anyway thanks for the nostalgia.

You know, it's okay to be sad. We're taught that from the very beginning, sadness is a bad emotion, but it's not. And if you feel that you shouldn't be sad, in a moment when you think you should be happy; think about how you think of yourself. And remember to find happiness on your own terms, and in your own time. Have a great day!

One of the saddest things I think is that there is sometimes abuse in the foster system as well as in some children's biological homes. Sometimes even worse than in the bio home; /however that doesn't mean I think abused children should stay in their abused households/ the child care system is quite tarnished and toxic these days.
