Hoooollllyyyyyy shiiiittt that looks amazing!!! Every time you poured that hollandaise I got a little hungrier 😍😍 thank you so much for taking part of the epic collab! 🙏🏼
The sauce sounds really delicious, a nice change from tomato-based sauce. When we saw the preview video, we were so impatient to watch the full recipe. Can't wait to try out the recipe now! It was a pleasure to have you in the collab Lauren. Thank you. (◕‿◕✿)
That looks sooooo good! It would be kind of cool to use hash browns instead of noodles to kind of double down on the breakfast theme. Either way, this looks amazing.
Tip for using kala namak/black salt! It looses its flavor if it is cooked for too long, so add it at the end! And if you add a little too much - cook it a little bit and it will go away :)
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I NEED THIS I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW AHHH THIS LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! thank you for the recipe Lauren also you look gorgeous!!
OH MY GOD. I never saw this combination-type of lasagna. Basically a scrambled egg one. Definitely genius and I'm gonna try it ASAP! Thanks for sharing! :D
I've always been the typical "macho guy" when it came to vegan and vegetarian food. Hearing you say "mushroom bacon" or "tofu bacon" makes me cringe. But my girlfriend made your BBQ pulled "pork" mushroom and made me try it. I was BLOWN AWAY. Wow. It was delicious. Now I want to try all the vegan foods. All the time. Haha . Thank you @hotforfood. And thank you to my gf for literally shoving food into my mouth.
Haha I know this is random but since theres no comments yet I wanted ti ask you where u get your chao cheese from because I am also currently living in Toronto.
I think the next few videos you should do are video versions of past recipes you have on the blog. and one day you'll have a video for every recipe you have on the website! I love all the recipes on the site. not all have an accompanying video. love you Lauren!
Made this last weekend... not healthy but damn it was GOOD!!! All kinds of flavor going on!!! Love your videos and recipes. Thanks for be an awesome vegan!!!
Do you think it was made to just look rusty? Not the best look for a dinner/serving plate in any case! But what I love about Lauren is that she can comfortably laugh at herself... her remark was spot on
Great recipe. I loooove breakfast! I recommend only adding the black salt in the end otherwise you lose the egg taste quite a bit. And yes it's stinks lol like the vegan egg! Apple sage is my fav too!!!!
Made this yesterday, it was super good. My omnivore boyfriend loved it, wouldn't have guessed that there was no dairy cheese in it. Can't wait for your cookbook to come out
Lauren! I could not find you on Patreon. I have budgeted so that I can donate a small amount monthly to my favorite content creators on UA-cam/podcasts. I'd love to support Hot for Food because what you're doing is fantastic and I respect your work ethic so much! Consider joining Patreon and let us know if you do :)
I never liked Brinner as a kid, but with 5 kids my mom would do it on occasion. HOWEVER all of these recipes are bomb ass Brunch dishes and yours in at the top of my list to make. I was just going to make a meatball Lasagna tonight for Dinner and I really have to try this. This weekend! I got extra noodles and tofu anyway, just have to beat the bushes for that sausage, I think one of my sources here in NZ has that one. Do you use the Field Roast? Yum Lauren!!
@@rukiaans91 theres noodles that are meant to be boiled before assembling and others that are meant to cook in the oven. If someone you know is putting regular lasagna noodles raw into the oven they’re doing it wrong lol
I watched this thinking, breakfast lasagne...whatever. Let me just take a look. By the end, I was drooling. I stand corrected. It’s brilliant. Lol. I wanna try and make the vegan cheese though because I really dislike daiya and most store brands for that matter. Thanks Lauren, you’re amazing!
this would be great as a Mexican lasagna: tomato sauce with spices and the tofu scramble with peppers and corn. This looks amazing. definitely making this recipe! !!! 💕💕💕
This is fuckin lit, but also do you think you could show us how to make a regular lasagna too? Or maybe you already did and I just didn't know. I'm a new subscriber trying to just dive straight into veganism cuz like, why not yknow? Anyways love you mom!!
Harley Carter I've tried Hot For Food's lasagna and it's amazing! Everything I've made from their videos and blogs has been really awesome! Bold and flavorful!
Lauren!! I wanna make this for Christmas morning. BUT I also want to SLEEP and RELAX on Christmas morning. ;) How well do you think it'd hold up if I made it a day or two in advance?
do you think could omit the noodles and make it into a casserole then eat with toast? I'm going on a float trip soon and I need breakfast as I am the only vegan :(
Could you please please please show us a recipe of baked potato with vegan fillings? For example, I've been thinking about the typical chicken-curry filling but with cauliflower instead (we don't have as good fake chicken options where I live so prefer veggies hehe) and if that's going to taste any good. I would love to see your take on this to learn which ingredients that goes well with the dish and how to get the fillings as creamy and flavorful as possible! Love your channel!
do you ever find that the black salt eggy flavour disappears if you add it before you cook it? I find that if I add it beforehand I can no longer taste or smell it much, so I started stirring it through my finished tofu scramble to be able to taste it.
what brand of black salt do you use? mine gets sooo clumpy i always mix my spices in a quarter cup of unsweetened almond milk before adding it to my tofu scramble just to make sure its actually dissolved lol
I don't even have notifications. I literally wake up on Wednesday and immediately think of hot for food.
hahah that's awesome
You're not alone lol..it's the highlight of my hump day!
This looks SO good 😍😍😍
Cheap Lazy Vegan It really does!😁😁

The sauce sounds really delicious, a nice change from tomato-based sauce. When we saw the preview video, we were so impatient to watch the full recipe. Can't wait to try out the recipe now! It was a pleasure to have you in the collab Lauren. Thank you. (◕‿◕✿)

That looks sooooo good! It would be kind of cool to use hash browns instead of noodles to kind of double down on the breakfast theme. Either way, this looks amazing.
Yeah I tried a potato version in testing but didn't love it as much
this is by far the best vegan channel on youtube, you guys deserve so much more subscribers
Tip for using kala namak/black salt! It looses its flavor if it is cooked for too long, so add it at the end! And if you add a little too much - cook it a little bit and it will go away :)

Now I want to try all the vegan foods. All the time. Haha . Thank you @hotforfood. And thank you to my gf for literally shoving food into my mouth.
Love your idea!! I want to try it but instead of pasta shells, i think ill try it with taco corn shells,
almost like a mexican lasagna.
Oh my goodness this looks amazing!!
This is making me hungry and I just ate 😩 All of your recipes are amazing!!
This looks so good!! Can't wait to try out the recipe!
Haha I know this is random but since theres no comments yet I wanted ti ask you where u get your chao cheese from because I am also currently living in Toronto.
fiesta farms or essence of life
We made this from your newsletter for Mother's Day. So good!
I made something similar to this once but instead of using pasta noodles for that layer I used hash browns. Can't wait to try this version!!
hehe more like breakfast, lunch, and dinner vegan lasagna ! 😋
I think the next few videos you should do are video versions of past recipes you have on the blog. and one day you'll have a video for every recipe you have on the website! I love all the recipes on the site. not all have an accompanying video. love you Lauren!
yeah I've been working on that :D
Made this last weekend... not healthy but damn it was GOOD!!! All kinds of flavor going on!!!
Love your videos and recipes.
Thanks for be an awesome vegan!!!
"looks like I'm eating in prison or something" Hahahahahaha so true, I was also wondering about that plate!
I thought it was rustic haha
Well it looked rusty so I guess you were partly right. 😂 😂 😂
That plate bothered me too. It was very rust-- ic. I don't think its a good idea to eat off of rust. But I guess maybe just once would be alright. ?
Do you think it was made to just look rusty? Not the best look for a dinner/serving plate in any case! But what I love about Lauren is that she can comfortably laugh at herself... her remark was spot on
Oops just noticed that Lauren actually replied to the comment
Just made this and it was the bomb omg! Thanks for the recipe
Can't wait for your cookbook to come out
Literally planning what night this week I want this (and a good cup of coffee) for brinner. WIN!
When she said "this has everything" I immediately thought of Stefan from snl
Made this tonight! Amazing 💕
I've literally made this twice since it came out in the newsletter 😍 Once for Father's Day and the other time just...because LOL SO GOOD!!!!!!
AMAZING!!!!!
LOVE this idea!
I never would have thought of a breakfast lasagne but his looks aaaamazing!
Oh my goodness. Seriously...your recipes NEVER disappoint!!! I wish I could jump through my iPhone and eat this. 😳😍
The kala namak is great in like a bean salad or even on sweet potato with some lemon (it doesn't make it taste like egg!)
Holy Yum! We live for Brinner and this looks amazing.
This looks soooo amazing!!
I always thought u had to cook the pasta first.
not quick cooking
If you don't like mega crispy noodles on the edges you can cook it first :) I personally cannot do the no cook method.
It depends on the noodles you use 😊
Some noodles have to be boiled first, others are meant to cook in the oven. Depends on the ones you get.
@@rukiaans91 theres noodles that are meant to be boiled before assembling and others that are meant to cook in the oven. If someone you know is putting regular lasagna noodles raw into the oven they’re doing it wrong lol
I have just eaten and now I am officially hungry again.. Thanks a lot Lauren 😆😆😋
Black salt is used in Indian cooking! This sounds delicious.
Wow this is amazing🔥 100% making this! So creative 😍😍😍
I never realized I dont have to boil the noodles first you just made my life easier!
Yumm!! Can you please tell us what brand your favorite apple sage sausage is ?
This is genius. 🙌❤️ Lauren, you're brilliant!
you can also just call kala namak "sanchar" (like sun-cher), it's more of a household name and easier haha, love the recipe!
I havent heard of that name! thanks!
this would be great as a Mexican lasagna: tomato sauce with spices and the tofu scramble with peppers and corn. This looks amazing. definitely making this recipe! !!! 💕💕💕
That lasagna looks so good!!!! Yummy!
This is what dreams are made of. A big vegan UA-cam collaboration and a shit ton of delicious brinner recipes 😩😺👏
This is fuckin lit, but also do you think you could show us how to make a regular lasagna too? Or maybe you already did and I just didn't know. I'm a new subscriber trying to just dive straight into veganism cuz like, why not yknow? Anyways love you mom!!
I've got lasagna rolls on the channel and the perfect vegan lasagna on the blog!
Harley Carter I've tried Hot For Food's lasagna and it's amazing! Everything I've made from their videos and blogs has been really awesome! Bold and flavorful!
I've had great success with the lasagna rolls 10/10 do recommend
The lasagna rolls on the blog are legit so good 😊
Harley Carter The Kale Sandwich Show's lasagna is so easy and tastes amazing- I use it all the time!
Wow this looks freaking amazing!!!!
Breakfast = yum, lasagne = yum, I mean what's there not to love!
Ohsum! Gotta try that!😄 What cheese shreds did you use btw???

This is an amazing colab! I loooove it! Ps you seem to have the wrong link for Lisa Reimi! I think.. might wanna look it up. I can be wrong tho. :P

this looks so good omg
+Lauren Toyota This looks FANTASTIC! I absofuckinglutely HAVE to make this! You are truly the BEST!
THANKS Nia! xo
THIS LOOKS AMAZING!!! I was thinking of using thinly sliced potato instead of pasta, i wonder how that would work...?
I've never seen someone make lasagna with raw noodles - I've always cooked them first! Can't wait to try it :)
Oh I'm so hungry right now ! Where can you find this specific salt you talk about ?
Don't forget us southerners, we would call it "brupper", our lunch time is called "dinner". :) Wonderful recipe, can't wait to try it. Thanks!
Lauren!! I wanna make this for Christmas morning. BUT I also want to SLEEP and RELAX on Christmas morning. ;) How well do you think it'd hold up if I made it a day or two in advance?
This brinner collaboration definitely helped my drunk munchies, especially this lasagna, I think yes. 😊 I can't wait to try this!!!
YAAY!
do you think could omit the noodles and make it into a casserole then eat with toast? I'm going on a float trip soon and I need breakfast as I am the only vegan :(
I think this would be awesome with sweet potatoes too - YUM! Great recipe.
Looks delicious!!!! However I maybe would've used pancakes or potatoes as my noodles ;)
Maple syrup, eh? 🇨🇦 haha great video! Looks delicious!!
I am salivating, just watching this!!
I made this and I freaking love it so much!
do you ever find that the black salt eggy flavour disappears if you add it before you cook it? I find that if I add it beforehand I can no longer taste or smell it much, so I started stirring it through my finished tofu scramble to be able to taste it.

Black salt is best when added after cooking. Heat cooks off the sulfur taste and just ends up tasting very salty.
Ugh can I just hire you to be my personal chef? lol this looks amazing. Need to try and make this!
